The food was delicious; everyone in our party was very happy with their chosen meal. The waiter was so helpful, friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!

We were very disappointed with the service we received as we ordered bread and olives as a starter which never arrived but were then offered them with our main course! Also the new potatoes were undercooked and by the time replacements came we had finished the rest of our meal.

Visited on 18/5/19 party of four. Two of our party received our meals far in advance of the remaining two, waiter waffled on about the delay being due to the chef not being happy with our other two steaks not being ready yet and yet they were still brought to the table not cooked to our requirements which resulted us having to swop steaks amongst ourselves. The restaurant was not busy and quite frankly the meal was very expensive for what it was. We will be going to one of the many other restaurants on offer in Canterbury in future.

Pleasant and helpful staff. Lunch was good value....and of good quality. There was a nice atmosphere too. I will definitely come back. I have used Cote on numerous locations in the UK and have found their staff to be attentive and pleasant...with good interpersonal skills

Almost up to the standard of your Chichester establishment. A little more crowded than the 28th Feb 2018, but did not detract from an enjoyable meal.

Super delicious food cooked to perfection and excellent efficient service over a very busy lunch time where 475 covers we’re being served on Mother’s Day! Booked on line the week before for 7 persons and a 2 year old who also cleared her plate! Couldn’t fault the team at Canterbury who were all smiling throughout as were the customers around us. Our fifth visit and certainly not our last, thank you!

I encouraged my friends to go for lunch here as I had tecently visited and the fiood and service was excellent. However two if my friends ordered the seafood linguine and said that there was a strong aroma which “put them off”. I tried to tell them to speak to a member of staff but they felt as I had booked it they did not want to make a fuss. A shame I think. Service was as always excellent even though tit was very busy and everyone enjoyed their starters very much.

Had a very enjoyable lunch Saturday, we booked a table but arrive quite early, and were able to order just drnks until we were ready to eat. I am disabled and they moved furniture around to accommodate my scooter.

As always (I have visited Canterbury Cote Brasserie a number of times now for lunch), the food was excellent with a good choice of menu, and prompt and efficient service. I always find the staff very welcoming and friendly.

We reserved a table in celebration of a wedding ceremony today and the service was perfect! We were able to drop off a cake etc early and the staff were all fantastic!

Nice pre-theatre set menu. Restaurant was quite lively given that we ate early, around 5.30pm. Waitresses were welcoming and gave good prompt service ensuring we wete finished in good time for the play. We selected the prestige set-menu which we hadn't had befor, offering a wider choice and more intersting items (French onion soup and fish pie in our case, both very good).

Food and service really good, only downside they did not have any Sambucca to have with my Wife’s coffee. They did let us have my Brandy and the coffees for nothing.

Very enjoyable. Food always good and attentive service. Sadly too full after a starter and main to enjoy dessert! We will be back on a regular basis even though we are a 45 minute drive away.

Very nice meal, and prompt service. Staff always friendly and pleasant. Only problem was being at end of restaurant next to disabled toilet, with a queue and people having trouble opening door...so rather noisy and not very private!

Friendly attentive staff delivered us a delicious three course meal with no delays and nothing missing from the menu. All six of us enjoyed yourselves. The restaurant was immaculate but the toilets let them down slightly as 2 out of the 3 ladies ones were blocked. This didn't ruin our lunch and we'd all go back.

Thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. Family meal enjoyed by all. Something for everyone. Glad the staff in each restaurant get the tips but I normally would give 10% so think 12.5% is a bit steep.

Splendid pre theatre set menu, great ambience and so warm on a freezing evening. Emily (?)was excellent, welcoming us at table, patient while we chose. Warm, engaging personality which aided the meal.

Service excellent but the ribeye wasn't great. Cooked OK but not a good piece of meat IMHO.

The restaurant was clean and well kept, the staff were well presented and pleasant. It was my first visit to this restaurant and once our order had been placed we didn't have to wait long. The waitress came to check that everything was ok with our meals after a few minutes which I'm happy to say it was .Our meals were delicious, well presented and hot which doesn't happen everywhere. All in all I was very happy with my meal and the service and will definitely be returning.

Had a lovely lunch with friends. As usual superb food and service. Staff are always on hand and we had a relaxing meal. We have still yet to find a restaurant in Canterbury which draws us back as much as Cotes.

Great fixed price menu. This month it was difficult to choose as I liked everything on it. Good quality produce, cooked well and well presented. Great service, the waiters are attentive but not intrusive. Great value.

Food was delicious, plentiful and great value for money. All staff were polite and engaging. Environment was very comfy and appropriate. Only reason this review didn’t give top marks is that there was a long wait between being seated and ordering drinks and again when asking for the bill and receiving it. Will definitely return and try breakfast
