Really great from start to finish. Was lovely. We felt welcomed, valued and safe from start to finish. As key workers ourselves (an ICU nurse and a teacher) it’s really appreciated that you’re open and how hard you’re all working.

Lovely time as ever, great service food and drink, I’ve taken off one star as we were sitting in a nice social distanced space and when another couple came over the waitress gave them a choice of where to sit and of course they chose to sit at the next table. I would have preferred if they offered one of the 8+other tables and the ones near us (or other diners) last so that others were coming as we (or others) were leaving. Just a tip x

Yet again, we've had a fantastic experience at Cote, Chelmsford. We enjoyed the festive menu with wine parings - all very good quality and superb value for money. A particular highlight was the Plum Tart with cinnamon ice-cream. Highly attentive and friendly service. Highly recommend!

So nice to be back again at Cote Chelmsford after the second lockdown. As ever, the atmosphere was calm and friendly, the food and service bothexcellent. The new Prsetige menu was especially good value for money. Thanks to Vinnie and his team for your hard work and effort in such difficult times. It was great to be back!

Better than expected, “risked” the steak as I’m often disappointed when having that in the UK. Needn’t have worried, excellent & prepared exactly as requested. Staff (as ever) amiable and efficient. Manager, friendly & welcoming. Very enjoyable experience, would unhesitatingly recommend.

Great service, food and ambience! The only gripe is that the covid precautions were a little lacking. All the staff wore masks and they had the government barcode check-in, but I have seen other restaurants space out tables and put perspex screens between tables. None of that here, which made for a slightly uncomfortable experience. If you can get past that, it was great.

Great food, but service a bit slow, steaks cooked to perfection, more chocolate sauce needed for my coupe Noir... over charged for some olives on the bill.

We go twice maybe three times a month and love it every time !!

Lovely evening, although staff were busy it didn’t feel like we were forgotten at any point but actually gave our evening a slower flow and more time to enjoy it. Food was fantastic as always, especially dessert.
