A little quiet as we ate early and social distancing makes things a little spaced out; but we like personal space anyway, so that was good! Absolutely superb overall. Excellent gluten free menu choices for the two of us. Swift, but not rushed, friendly service. Great food and drinks. Reasonably priced and good value overall. Probably the best place in Chelmsford to have a quality three-course gluten free meal with choice. Highly recommended.

Food, service and atmosphere were all very good. It was very much how things were pre-Covid. Just a shame that the Chateaubriand was not available from the Specials Menu even though it was an early Sunday lunch.

Live in Billericay. Work and eat in London regularly. This is our favourite, economically priced, quality restaurant outside London. The quality of the food is very, very good and no different from genuine French bistros in France. The level of service is exceptional for a British mainstream restaurant. Highly recommended!
