A warm welcome awaited us as usual by the lovely manager and staff... even though, due to shielding issues and Covid we have not eaten at cote since feb 2020! Everything was brilliant. Our only slight criticism was that portion sizes seem to have reduced. This is sad but understandable as businesses have to make up the money lost during covid and I suspect that food prices have increased due to Brexit. We had a top night as always with friends. Thank you so much for making us feel safe and welcome.

I love Côte but on this occasion it was not up to its usual level of service and the music was overbearing We just wanted to sit and chat not listen to loud music

First Friday night open after Lockdown 2 and good to see the Cote standards had not been lost in any way. Surprisingly busy which was very encouraging to see and a good atmosphere, and a very enjoyable meal was had. The food was fantastic and the service from the staff as wonderful as always. Cote in Chelmsford has definitely become one of our firm favourites in the last year.

It was my husbands 65th birthday. We had a brilliant time. Food was exceptional and service was brilliant as usual. Our favourite place to go in Chelmsford. Can also recomend the champagne brunch as well.. Thank you for a brilliant time.

So good to be back at Cote Chelmsford. The new menu is packed full of new and old favourites in spite of the restricted service. The rib eye was excellent as was the Pavlova. The service was excellent; good to see Vinny and his friendly team on top form. Hope to see you all again soon.

Staff are exceptional here can’t fault them, had a problem with one meal which was sorted swiftly. It was then removed from our bill and replaced. We will definitely return as the food was one of the best I have experienced during this whole pandemic where standards have definitely slipped in many other places.

We eat at Cote Brasserie regularly and are never disappointed. Great food and service and a cheerful atmosphere.

Probably my favourite places to eat . Have been several times including breakfast brunch and dinner. Never been disappointed. Staff always professional.

Overall it was a lovely evening, friendly polite staff. Food was nice to , the only complaint I would have is to much pepper used in the gratin But it didn’t spoil the evening x
