Atmospheric Cote here in Chester. Enjoyed our food and service. Ladies toilet was blocked. Informed Manager who said he would sort it.

The Guinea hen special was delicious, the January sale wine offer was also good. Our waitress offered just the right level of attention. Will definitely be back.

My wife and I had excellent meals in a relaxed atmosphere, The staff were very helpful and attentive. We have booked to return again later this week when wee shall be taking our son.

Great service great food with one exception the French cottage pie (hache parmentier) was awful and virtually inedible.Far to dry too much topping with too little meat. In fairness the manager was very obliging and offered a complimentary dessert to compensate. I feel you should take this dish off the menu.The rest of the food was exceptional.

Always made to feel welcome when ever we go. Friendly, efficient and attentive staff. Delicious food and wine. A great choice of gluten free items on the menu, not many places where my wife can enjoy a three course meal. We chose to eat from the a la carte menu and received a free bottle of merlot. Definitely be back the next time we are in Chester.

Waited a bit too long to be greeted by the entrance, food was fab , we weren’t rushed at all! Not keen on our table.. by the door upstairs .. lovely place thought , clean , will return!!

Lovely lunch to catch up with friends. £10.95 for two delicious courses. Who can argue with that? Lovely surroundings and great service - we’ll be back!

A welcoming, friendly staff make it a pleasure to eat here. The food is very tasty ( we had breakfasts) too. The coffee cups are just the right size, though I will ask for mine to be extra hot next time.

Friendly, courteous, super-efficient staff who gave us a warm welcome. Diverse and interesting menu to suit all tastes. Everything we ordered was delicious and I hope we can return very soon.

I will be honest, this was my third visit to the place within a month. Unfortunately, this time the standards dropped significantly. Normally, the service is very good but this time it fell below the standard was used to expecting. Some not so good points... 1. Starter dishes were left on the table until the mains had finished. This aspect of service was very slow. 2. Knives were only put on table after asking 3. Staff on phone and drinking coffee in view of customers. Standing around. Some looked unbothered. This is not very professional. 4. Food itself normally exceptional, this time chicken felt undercooked as it was pink in parts. Two of us who had the same dish felt the same. 5. The toilet was not in a very good clean condition. But despite this some good points are: 1. Friendly woman waitress who was responsive to our needs. 2. Bread was tasty. Most food was good. Dessert was delicious. 3. Nice setting and enjoyed the music. 4. Mostly staff are happy to help I did not want to raise the issues directly but on reflection do feel should feed back some of these points as normally service and food have been perfect.

Had a wonderful evening here. Chose to go for the early evening set menu. We all loved our meals. Great food & wine. Staff friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend Cote Brasserie.

Cote is our neigbourhood brasserie in Chester. The food, service and ambience are always top-notch and nowhere else can compare. Chris and the team always make us feel welcome and even when it's not a special celebration they make it feel like it is. Keep up the good work!

Efficient and busy restaurant. Welcoming boss man. Bit of a wait for food but excellent when it arrived. The creme caramel is the best I always have it and it never disappoints.

A well run restaurant. Nice atmosphere. Very good, attentive service. Menu nice and varied. Tasty, well prepared food. A good evening enjoyed by all my group.

Lovely meal and excellent service from Niall. The free bottle of wine offer was a bonus.
