Lovely evening. Staff extremely attentive, excellent service. I had French onion soup which was fantastic. half a chicken with mushroom sauce. Well cooked, well presented and a good reasonable price. Overall deco and ambience of the restaurant was really good and relaxing. I will certainly go again and would recommend it to others.

We love Côte.... Always have, and go to several different cities. The food is amazing. Service always good, but to be honest, I would prefer if you didn't add the tip onto the bill. I know that we can change it, but is something that we should be able to decide.

Great place for a lovely meal. Went last night to celebrate a friend's birthday. We were sat somewhere quiet (upstairs) and loved every dish and glass that were served to us with a great smile from the waiter. All in all a fab evening. I will come back.

Although the food was still good, there was a delay of about 50 minutes between ordering and receiving our starter. After 40 minutes we were told that the order had not been recieved in the kitchen.

Our party of ten friends spent a very pleasant lunchtime at the Chester Cote Brasserie, and the full company enjoyed the experience from the first welcoming to the final farewell, enjoying an excellent meal in between, with attentive and friendly staff who gave first class attendance to our needs. We could not have asked for a better time at our get together. Well done , and many thanks to the chef and staff who served up such a lovely lunch, we hope to be seeing you again soon.

We enjoyed our food and the waitress was very attentive. However the service was a little slow and they forgot to bring my daughters food out with our starter so we ended up eating at different times. Also find a service charge a little cheeky.

All the way from booking on-line, to the courtesy check on the booking, to the warm greeting on arrival, to the attentive service, to the amazing food, to the final words when leaving, the whole experience was nothing short of fantastic. Our service was provided by Dean, the asssistant General Manager who looked after our every need and guided us on the menu. The food served was presented impeccably and tasted amazing. We went for the Chateaubriand for our main and it was just divine. We have to say that our whole experience was possibly the best we have encountered for a long time. Thank you for helping make our stay in Chester more memorable and wish Dean and the team all the best. Keep up the fantastic work, we will certainly call in again when we come back to Chester.

We ate late on a Saturday evening. Starters of prawns and tuna from the specials. Both were cooked beautifully and the ingredients were so tasty. We both had the duck for mains and it was cooked just right. The service was attentive but not intrusive - would recommend.

Excellent meal with friendly helpful service It was a pleasant change to be served with a steak that was rare; all too often it is served medium rare so was up to Cotes usual standard.

First time eating at Cote and overall very impressed. Would definitely return. Food was delicious and service was exceptional so you do not mind paying gratuity when service meets expectations.

My party included my wife - who has to use a stick to go any distance - and my 70-year old sister, who has to use a full-sized 4-wheel mobility trolley for the same reason. It was a little surprising that there are no toilet facilities on the lower floor (which is down several steps) and the only access to the upper floor (the location of all toilets) was either by a narrow spiral staircase or via the street and a winding pathway and a ramp - a difficult journey for someone on a trolley (plus an internal step on top of it all). It was a birthday lunch for my sister, and these difficulties marred what would otherwise have been an enjoyable time out.

Ecellent starters smoked hadock & egg. Calamari with crispest tastest batter. Pork lion very tender in great sauce, steak frits allways good. Great meal

We drive for half an hour to visit for the perfect weekend breakfasts! The staff are so friendly, the food is fantastic and we love Côte Chester!

Really enjoyed our food and service unfortunately sat by a rather loud party which did rather detract from our enjoyment overall

As we expected really let them down though with the peach crumble and ice cream lacking in taste. No one bothered to ask us if it was satisfactory, did we enjoy etc etc and why the 12.5% service charge?? Deleted that it’s so irritating ☹️

It was the first time we have visited Cote in Chester and from the moment we arrived, the service was excellent.. All members of staff were friendly, courteous and more than helpful. It was difficult to choose from the menu, there was so many delicious options. My fiance had to arrive later due to work and they took our order and delayed his order until he arrived, ensuring his food came out within minutes of arriving. Every course was presented beautifully and tasted as good as it looked. We had an event to be at afterwards so time was limited, but your staff were really accommodating. Would wholeheartedly recommend Cote to everyone.

On off chance booked for my Birthday lunch at Chester COTE after seeing advert on Facebook. It was a lovely experience . I had booked on line and when I arrived mentioned it was my Birthday and a complimentary Kir Royale was presented by a very attentive waiter( should of asked name). Though the place was very busy we asked to be seated upstairs lovely place decor etc. Was given time though busy to choose from Al a Carte as a new customer you receive a free bottle wine. Which was very nice. I chose an appetiser and the fish goujons and my husband onion soup and garlic chicken . Both courses delicious hot and delivered promptly . Chose a chocolate pudding and lemon tart both excellent. Will be returning soon . Great food and service.

We had an excellent evening. Staff extremely friendly. Food delicious. Service a good pace. We mentioned it was our anniversary and they make a lovely effort with the desert and even better they didn't charge us for the desert.
