Côte Chester

The waiter was good; the food was nice apart from the Poulet Grille which was pretty tough (though the sauce was delicious); and the ambience was lovely until loud dance music started pumping out! I know it was a Saturday evening (only 6-8pm though) but it didn't fit with the restaurant at all. Though thankfully the waiter had it turned down when we asked. A nice evening but not quite up to the standard of other Cotes I've visited, which have been fantastic.

Great meal again. I always bring friends visiting Chester to Cote. Lovely

Fabulous decor coupled with fabulous food. The staff are knowledgeable and very friendly but still professional.

Great food and very pleasant service. The only vegetarian dish on the set menu wasn't available. I was able to choose an alternative but felt it shouldn't have needed to be a matter of special request.

Food and service was fantastic. I'm GF I had a separate menu which is always a bonus, fabulous number of choices and order was taken by the manager. We all (party of 6) had the creme caramel, this was delicious as was the other 2 courses

We were a group of 13 "oldies" so a certain amount of pre-organisation was required. No problem - select a menu, get everyone to make their choices, and the co-ordinator completes the on-line form provided (we may be old but not too hopeless at the modern technology!!) and send it off. Turn up at the appointed time, order some wine and away we go! Excellent! Lovely staff, very well organised with everyone's choices pre-printed (in case we might have forgotten) - it went like clockwork and we had a great time. Thank you.

we booked for a table for 6 and the table was very tight and looking around seemed to be the same size as a table for 4

My milestone birthday celebration with my wife and daughter in Chester Côte. Very enjoyable, excellent food, not noisy like Sloane Square branch where we dined a couple of Sundays ago. Will definitely come and eat here again when I next visit Chester.

Fantastic food, complimentary kir royal for my birthday and I was made to feel very special. The team are really relaxed and passionate, which reminded me very much of Paris. I will be recommending and returning. The actual restaurant is also very beautiful.

As usual excellent service, preparation and choice of dishes and wines. We have tried many other places to eat in Chester, but keep coming back here (this time with two friends from Germany, who also enjoyed their meals as much as we did ours).

Fantastic service from all staff. The food was delicious both myself and my fiance had 3 courses and all of them tasted wonderful. Would have preferred to sit more towards the back of the restaurant as felt a little cool being sat so close to the air conditioning, however it was our first time here so I know now to request that next time. Value for money was really good as well.

Very pleasant evening, excellent meal very reasonably priced and first class service from a very helpful and attentive young lady, my only concern would be how close together the tables are upstairs by the windows, you would need to be very good friends with the people next to you,reduce the row from 4-3 and it works

The food was delicious as usual. The service was a bit slow, but the restaurant was very busy. The girl who served us was very friendly, efficient and joyful

I made the booking for a work event, and the pre-order and booking was relatively straight forward. As I did not attend I have had feedback for both the food and service. The food was received very well, 'incredible' and 'immense' are two quotes. The service ws a bit mixed, whilst it was a large party there seemed to be a bit of a long wait for each course, with the booking being at 8.30pm and mains only arriving about 9:45pm. Some people had not had starters so this was a bit concerning. However our MD described the service as attentive and would definitely recommend the restaurant.

Booked on the recommendation of family recently and we were glad we did. I had the early bird offer and my friend ordered from the main menu. Both meals were delicious along with my dessert. The service was great and meals were good value. We'll be back!

The whole experience was 10/10. Celebrating an anniversary and the food, table and service was incredible. Staff were very helpful and informative, lots to choose from on the menu, and their speciality cocktail was delicious. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

We booked breakfast for18 before Chester races. When we arrived we were taken straight to our seating, then everything ran as clockwork, we all got what we had pre ordered & the staff did a great job, we will definitely be back next year.

fantastic food but evening made difficult by over zealous waiter the meal started with confusion over a complimentary bottle of wine with the waiter talking so fast that none of our party understood what he had said we made a comkent to this effect so then really quite patronizingly he went on to slowly point and explain very slowly . this was followed by when my son asked for his Rib eye steak to be cooked rare he again with the same attitude told him it was the wrong way to have it , my son is a 2 rosette chef but did not feel he needed to tell the waiter this to be able to have his steak how he wanted to , the same was said about my veal but once the food arrived it was all cooked to a very high standard I also have to say that we did appreciate the fact that they were happy to bring out a birthday cake that we had for my sons girlfriend one other criticism is the fact that the 'optional' gratuity is included in the bill and not left to customer discretion. I always leave a generous tip as long as it is deserved but the way it is on the bill with you would make it embarrassing to have it taken off

All good. Lovely atmosphere. Not too noisy as for eg in Brighton

First visit, and it won't be the last. Food was lovely, and the staff were very attentive and courteous. Excellent value.
