Côte Cobham

We normally go to the dorking one so fancied a change. Always never seems to disappoint. Food was absolutely amazing and the staff very friendly. Can't fault this place.

The staff and Manager were very friendly and professional. The food was extremely good. The waiting time was minimal for our drinks and food. Would recommend.

Great value on the set menu, always good food (had the bacon and avocado salad) and service. Cant fault it for the price. Even when busy the food is out quickly so great for a quick lunch!

Food was good and the atmosphere was relaxed. The waitress didn't smile once and didn't make us feel welcome at all. I understand how ones mood can deteriorate throughout the day but if you're miserable at 12:00 midday on a Saturday, I would hate to see you at 19:00 when it gets busy. one of the chefs would come out of the kitchen holding a tray of plates and just hover around until a waiter directed him where to go. It's not that nice having this guy standing over our table all the time. The receipt had 12.5% gratuity added to the bill which I thought was extremely high, especially when the service wasn't good. All-in-all, it was meant to be a nice meal out but ended up annoying me quite a lot.

First time trying this location, good food and service consistent with other cotes that I regularly visit. I will definitely visit this this location again.

Excellent customer services. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was great and served well and minimum waiting. Would willingly visit again and recommend it as a restaurant in Cobham.

Delicious food as always and very efficient friendly service. We look forward to our next visit to our favourite restaurant which is about six mike s from us.

Order taken promptly. We both chose items from the Formule item on the menu. Food arrived quickly and was hot. My husband had Full English He thought the tomatoes could have been riper. I had Eggs Royale -- Hollandaise sauce just right. Both had coffee also served quickly and hot. Would return.

Booked for a friends birthday. So pleased we did. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. I had mentioned we were celebrating a birthday and when we turned up there were glasses of Kir Royale on the table! We were blown away. Food was plentiful and delicious. Will definitely be back. Thank you for a fab evening.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is great value for money. Perfect atmosphere for any age group. Especially love the breakfast menu and the coffee.

My first Cotes experience was in St Christophers Place, and we have never looked back. We love Cotes and have been dining with Cotes generally in Cobham with friends and Parson's Green with family for quite a number of years now. Parson's Green know us well and we have the same seating area and the waitress remembers us which is lovely and so very accomodating, especially with my old uncle. Cobham's staff however seems to change a lot and we have had food there which we have had to send back! :( my recent visit wasn't the best, pate was like a hard lump with no garnish or pickle and my steak was over cooked but ok ... shame as I was introducing a friend to Cotes for the first time.

Easy to book online rather than needing to call, good quality service in the restaurant and adequate choice of food and drink on the menu.

The service is as good as the very best restaurants, staff are polite and friendly, Fillet was a tiny touch on the rare side of medium rare, creme broulle a straight 10, overall excellent and would go there any time.

Excellent service. Order taken quickly but plenty of time between courses. The food was well presented and piping hot. The steak was tender and tasty. A very pleasant meal.

Another lovely meal early evening on Sunday. Great friendly service. Excellent starter with a great 22oz bit of beef for main! Love the sorbet to finish it off!

We have been to this branch a few times and have had a good experience on each occasion this was the case again today with friendly and attentive service. One glass of wine was questionable and was changed immediately which demonstrates good service to the diner.

Excellent service and quick which is what you need with limited lunch time - the waiter/manager was very helpful and suggested that we had a sweet in the price

Excellent meal with very good service. Also the points we had went to freenstarters and Kia royals for our guests and myself. Definitely recomended, very good.

Service was good, apart from a warm glass for my bottle of cider. Food was good, but the cherries with the duck were a bit too strong.

Booking a late lunch, I thought there wouldn't bee any children. But by the time our main meal arrived they were all gone and it was quiet and a very nice enjoyable lunch.

Nice food, attentive staff, nice surroundings - a good experience; however parking may be difficult. There is a pay and display a short walk away.

Excellent choice of menu, prompt service and well cooked food. We chose the Crab Mayonnaise as a starter and I had the Roasted sea bass to follow.

Pleasant rather than outstanding meal. My duck was bearly warm and my guests' meals were enjoyable but agian bearly warm, but overall I enjoyed my evening.

Good and helpful service. calamari rings not up to scratch but my salad was imaginative, interestingly dressed and there was plenty of it. Would return.

Another great meal from Cote, this time lunch in Cobham. There were two of us dining and we both had starters, main courses and drinks. Everything was excellent as was the service.

sat by kitchen door which was drafty and like sitting in the middle of the high street. Asked for carb content as diabetic manager bordering on thick and gave rubbish info and clearly knew nothing about nutrition which could have killed! Won't be going there again.

A very comfortable restaurant with good food and friendly staff definitely worth a visit. There is a good choice of food on the a la carte menu also a great value early evening menu.

At this visit, where we are semi-regulars, everything seemed to be running even more smoothly than ever. The specials were interesting and seasonal, the new wine was a stunner, and the food was reliably tasty. My only disappointment is that they tend to run out of things early on Sunday evening- but they saved the last two burgers for my kids, so we were happy in the end.

Warm welcome as usual. Fresh fixed price menu every month. Friendly efficient service but slightly long delay for dessert. I will have to go back before the next change of menu as I want to try some other items.

Consistently good food and wine but not so great service, such a shame. We all enjoyed our starters, mains and dessert and they have a menu for food intolerance. But we not offered dessert and the staff turned off the music and started tidying up at 11pm on a Friday!

A good experience overall. My only criticism the bread/toast served with the terrine ws so hard I could not eat and had to ask for some other bread. Sea bass was good and crumble was excellent.

We have always had mixed opinions on this restaurant but having not visited in over 18 months we decided to give it a try. We visited at 8pm on a Thursday and were pleased to find it busy, usually a good sign. We were on a reward members offer and had the free Sauvignon Blanc. It retails for £25, the wines here are £16-32 so we presumed this would be a decent wine, it wasn't. It was the most tasteless wine I had ever come across. Whilst we were deciding what to eat we ordered olives and bread, neither were particularly great in fact some of the olives were soft and soggy. I had the scallops to start and they were delicious. My friend had the calamari and they were tasteless apart from the crumb coating. For main I had the chicken wrapped in bacon from the specials menu. It had an odd taste to it but was edible nonetheless. My friend had a steak which came luke warm so the garlic butter wouldn't melt into it and the meat itself was tasteless. We had the ratatouille which was perfect as always, carrots which were raw and cold in the middle (I like my vegetables al dente but not raw). At no point were we asked if everything was ok with our food. The waitress would simply come and whisk the plates away once we were finished. Dessert was another non-event. I opted for the cheese and port, usually a safe bet, but like most of the food we had had that evening it was tasteless. I have never had tasteless cheese in any restaurant and would never expect a poor cheeseboard in a French restaurant. The port tasted weak, I wasn't impressed. I then tried to order a mint tea but was told they didn't have any but they could chop some fresh mint into hot water. I gave it a miss! They didn't have camomile either. So all in all, quite poor food in an area with an abundance of decent restaurants and very poor service yet you're charged 12% service charge. I wouldn't rush back.

Very good lunch. Delicious belly pork and steak frites. Excellent Cote de Rhone. Unfortunately a group of 8 Italian ladies were also lunching so it became VERY noisy!

Service was pitched at exactly the right level, efficient but no intrusive. The sea bass was delicious. Presentation was good and portion size perfect. I didn't sample the desserts, no room!

Breakfast. Fast and a good break! Staff friendly and good food. Would recommend especially the vegetarian breakfast deal. Coffee and croissants also much enjoyed with good selection of jams!

We have visited the restaurant many times over the past couple of years and have always enjoyed the experience. The menus are interesting and the staff helpful and courteous.

We ordered 2 chicken & walnut salads &1 escalope de veau. The salads were all lettuce, the chicken was ok but little avocado & no walnuts. We asked for extra walnuts & avocado, a few small pieces arrived on a plate. We paid £11.50 per person and I think this was a rip off! It does not take much effort to prepare a decent salad. The salads were also presented in a glass bowl; they would have been better served on a nice plate. We await your reply!!

Service is excellent, and the food is consistently very good. We feel welcomed at Cote, and enjoy the atmosphere. Don't know what to use last 6 words for.

Nice restaurant very spacious with very friendly staff and tasty food. Lovely clean toilets always a good sign of a nice restaurant. Two or three course menu great value.
