Côte Cobham

We have visited the restaurant many times over the past couple of years and have always enjoyed the experience. The menus are interesting and the staff helpful and courteous.

Service was pitched at exactly the right level, efficient but no intrusive. The sea bass was delicious. Presentation was good and portion size perfect. I didn't sample the desserts, no room!

A good experience overall. My only criticism the bread/toast served with the terrine ws so hard I could not eat and had to ask for some other bread. Sea bass was good and crumble was excellent.

Very good lunch. Delicious belly pork and steak frites. Excellent Cote de Rhone. Unfortunately a group of 8 Italian ladies were also lunching so it became VERY noisy!

Enjoyable evening with family, experience added to with great choice of dishes - something for everyone. Love the little touches like water served in stone jugs.

Had. Good table for he five if us and the service was very prompt. The food was good and the choice is very wide and varied.

Booked for 5 order took ages to come.2of the meals had to be sent back and 1 a second time. Terrible. The manager was very good he tried his best but the kitchen was at fault. Won't go back. Have been a regular customer for some time.

We very much enjoyed our meal but the Service in Cobham is a little below par compared with the excellent Service ( more attentive but not at all fussy) at the Guildford Cotes where we have dined many times.

Great. Simple. Efficient. I had no problems. I even updated it the day before without any problems. Oooo technology these days. What will they think of next. Lol

Cobham Cote must be my favourite, it provides a good level of service in a well thought-out dining space. The food is tasty and it is always excellent value.

Good food from a varied menu. Although the restaurant was nearly full, the service was efficient. We liked the fact that they provide filtered water free of charge.

Disappointingly food not up to its usual standard. The duck we went for was not available - sold out at 8pm Saturday evening! Staff consistently very good and the Manager dealt with a complaint regarding two of the dishes we ordered in a professional and courteous manner.

You know what you are getting at Cote. A smart Cafe style resturant. The menu simply but appealing. Fantastic for families. The set price for a two or three course meal during the week even better.

We had a very nice meal at cotes Cobham the food was very good and the staff very nice. The restaurant is very bright and nicely furnished.

Steak cooked to perfection but French onion soup wasn't as tasty as normal but everything else great. Use Cote a lot, would definitely go back to this one. Friendly staff too

As always an excellent lunch from the set menu. Good value and pleasant service.Although busy for a Monday, it was not too noisy. We always choose Cobham although there are closer branches.

Anthony was supremely helpful as we were held up I traffic and were worried our table would be taken; no problem. A really good start to an evening which improved as each dish arrived. The calamari was the star performer.

We were welcomed with a big smile and had an attentive waiter. Food was very nice and a pleasant ambience. Bill was presented with an 'optional 12.5% gratuity' added. While we were happy to give a gratuity we did not like the approach.

A very pleasant atmosphere, alough a little noisy at times as a couple of large parties there. Food was excellent and waiters helpful and polite.

Very impressed with a member of staff who spoke to me about the main course I had ordered. He felt it was not up to the usual (excellent) standard. I was asked to choose again from the menu and much appreciated his honesty. Always a pleasure dealing with Cote staff.

First time for us at Cote in Cobham. Service was very good. Food was good. However the table was very small for breakfast for 4.

Took my girlfriend there, absolutely lovely evening chilled relaxed, great service staff very friendly, clean, food was excellent, very happy scored a lot of brownie points.

The ambience was relaxed and the service attentive without being intrusive. Overall a very enjoyable evening with tasty food. Impressed by the staff's willingness to accommodate a birthday cake without going over the top.

Easily booked with Quandoo App. Great food, relaxing atmosphere and prompt compitent service by a waiter who made good reccommendations. Will be rebooking again soon!

Enjoyed our evening - very courteous waiters, did not feel cramped as in other restaurants. Meal was good but the Breton fish stew was not as tasty as I had hoped - Cafe Rouge does a far tastier Boullibaise.

Meal tasted good. BUT my husband was very ill when we got home - contacted the restaurant to let them know immediately. He had calamari and steak.

I've been to Cote many time and set menu could do with a bit of updating on choices. Having said that calamari were great whereas steak was dry. Staff very attentive.

Food brilliant, menu very varied even the lunch menu and staff very friendly and helpful. My second visit and equally as good as the first visit. Will definitely go back again. Don't usually have dessert but today was my birthday so a special treat.

Great freshly cooked breakfast ( particularly the full English. For me the eggs Royale had too much Hollandaise - it was swimming in it ! (and I love sauce!) Welcome was friendly, efficient and fast service although busy. We enjoyed our experience as usual!

One of my favourite chains . Food and service is always good. However I do object to the service charge being automatically added to the bill . Seems a way to extract additional revenue from diner. Why not make it obligatory by leaving it off or giving the customer a choice . To ask it to be removed is an embarrassment in front of guests . Not a good feeling although everything is perfect.

Great service as always - booked online at late notice and managed to get a table at midday. Very pleasant family meal. Will be back soon.

Our meal was superb and the standard of service was excellent. These attributes, combined with the general ambience of the Cobhsm Cote, meant thst our overall experience was highly satisfactory. I would strongly recommend the Cobham Cote without hesitation.

We ate from the before 7pm fixed price menu which was varied, the food excellently prepared and presented with very friendly and efficient service. Just what a brasserie should be. Would have been a 6 if they stocked alcohol free beer.

Excellent service and good food. My duck could have been hotter when served although veg etc were OK. Restaurant noisy due to tiled floors etc

Yet another good lunch at Cote. In fact, I use the Cote chain often and can honestly say that I have never been anything other than satisfied. Good food, good service and value for money

Usual format for this chain but restaurant has been nicely fitted out and convenient location. Good staff although a little slow on taking initial order.

Very good experience. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Food also was of a high standard. Also children friendly with good children's menu. We will come again.

Good meal today as always. Menu is varied and fair priced. The service was good and the courses came fairly quickly even though it was busy for a Sunday lunchtime.

The food was Yummy we were on a time scale so we have the quick good options and weren't dissapointed arrived quickly , was hot,fresh and good value , friendly staff x

A warm and friendly welcome, a great menu every item prepared and cooked with care to perfection. We have never had anything other than an excellent meal at Cote

Great - service was a little disjointed but still a nice evening. I would have spent more but we struggled to get their attention to order more wine.

The ambiance and food were excellent, but our waiting staff were terrible. We were not offered any vegetables with our main course and when it arrived I said 'does this not come with vegetables?' Her reply was 'you did not order any'. in addition, when we asked for some cream with our dessert, she brought yogurt. When we said 'this is yogurt not cream' she replied 'well it's the same isn't it?' Her whole attitude was 'could not care less' However, when we complained, the manager did try to help, but he should not have to do this. Staff need training urgently in the basics of customer service.

Our 3rd Côte (Winchester and Esher being the others) and just as good as usual. Food was excellent, and the staff were pleasant and helpful.
