A perfectly good chain restaurant. The menu can be a bit samey but all the food came out well cooked and hot. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Excellent food and service, but table too small for 4 people to eat in comfort. Layout needs changing so that tables for 2 are not used for 4.

Consistently good food and service at a reasonable price with a lovely atmosphere. We go regularly to either Esher or the Cobham branch and both are equally good.

Good food, great service. Minor complaints: my wife's steak was rare rather than medium, she was given the wrong sauce, and we were given each other's steaks to begin with. But this didn't detract too much from what was a great experience.

Good service and food was great too! Meeting friends and staff were discreet allowing us to catch up without interruption. Good selection on the menu and all of us were very happy with our choices.

Although the restaurent was quite busy, the staff were very welcoming and attentive. The food was well cooked and well presented and tasted delicious. We will definitely come again!

Very good service. Well cooked and presented meal which was good value. Nice to be able to go to a restaurant where you are not crammed in and you can hear yourself talk. We shall return.

Excellent food and service . Only complaint is the restaurant is too noisy and very echoing due to all the hard surfaces . Very hard to keep a conversation going . Get some soft sound absorbing decor!

The Steak au poivre special was over-seasoned. The Steak had an unfortunate 'back taste' to it, the frites were too salty, and the accompanying wilted lettuce was over lemony. Not a great experience, as 3 out of 4 of us had this dish as a main. Starters were absolutely fine. I had a glass of wine, which was not cold enough, and the wine was basic and not what I would expect when I asked for a clean and fresh sauvignon blanc. Service was good though. I do think they could do better, and maybe taste the food before it goes out!

We were welcomed by Roberto warmly and quickly shown to our seat. The service was impeccable and the food was its usual high standard although I regretted the non availability of smoked salmon. A great favourite !

As always brilliant service and delicious food, Anthony the manager always makes our visit a pleasant one. He is a real asset to yiur organisation.

Really good food. But the waiter forgot to bring the orange juice. I guess that these things happen so I am not overly mad at it.

I wish I'd known that one of my friends would choose a dish off the main menu as I could have had a bottle of prosecco! I noted that they have changed the special lunch menu slightly - the chicken is now a breaded escalope and the Provencal sauce makes the crumb coating a bit soggy. However apart from that the meal was good and the sweet (frozen berries with white chocolate sauce) was excellent. One of my friends had the chicken and walnut salad and the other had the creme caramel sweet and the breaded chicken. Service was OK.

Excellent food and good value; friendly service and, all in all, a very pleasant experience. Certainly to be recommended but advisable to book as it was quite busy.

We went into Cote for breakfast. The atmosphere was good and the food too. However the service really wasn't great at all. Lots of staff but no one seemed keen to serve us! It's just annoying when you have to repeatedly ask for things.

As usual with this Cote in Cobham, consistent good food and friendly staff and for thus reasonwe keep going back. The atmosphere is always good and restaurant busy, but never so that you cannot carry on a conversation and enjoy your evening.

The food was great as always but the service was not quite up to the normal high standard we have come to expect of Côte.

The restaurant is capable of putting out some excellent meals, and staff are usually on the ball, friendly, and well trained. The flaws come from a chronic habit of running out of multiple dishes on a weekend- both specials and menu staples- and sometimes a lack of coordination between staff which results in being able to see your meal being carried around but not having another server available to actually serve it. Sometimes they forget basics like the "complimentary water" but they do make up for this by being very accurate with food orders. Have never had a major mistake happen in 20 or so visits. It's the frequent issue with them running out of favourite dishes that disappoints- and also the inability to be flexible with cooking preferences for meats- it all comes out rather well done no matter what you request. I find that frustrating as well. All that aside, the food is tasty and the specials change frequently, nice wine menu, so we keep going back regularly.

We very much enjoyed our meal though, sadly, our preferred choice of main dish was not available but it was dealt with very pleasantly and we found another which was to our liking.

Food at Cote is always excellent. Love a kir royale as an appetiser. Cost is always very reasonable. We were a group of 8 celebrating a birthday. Service was excellent as was the whole dining experience and we were pleasantly surprised at the bill.

The menu choices were very good - something for everybody and the service was excellent. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere but would have liked the music a little quieter!

Good choice on the very reasonably priced set menu. My Jerusalem artichoke risotto was particularly delicious. Went for starter - interesting crumbed calamari - but no pud. Service very efficient and discreet enough to allow us to chat rather than hurry us along too much! My first time at Cobham and would go again, maybe with a group of francophiles, as there seems to be plenty of room for a large party away from the main area.

Being hard of hearing, I need a relatively quiet location. The staff are always helpful in finding a suitable table. We find that there is an excellent high quality menue.

I HAVE BEEN A REGULAR AT COTE FOR QUITE A FEW YEARS AND HAVE EATEN IN AROUND 13 DIFFERENT COTE RESTAURANTS. COTE IN COBHAM IS A NEW FAVOURITE AND THE FOOD AND SERVICE FOR MY PARTNER'S BIRTHDAY DINNER ON 6/3/17 WERE ESPECIALLY GOOD, INCLUDING A COMPLIMENTARY KIR ROYAL WHEN WE ARRIVED. ALL COTE RESTAURANTS I HAVE BEEN TO HAVE BEEN OUTSTANDING IN EVERY WAY.

Food was excellent but can't say the service was brilliant. Nibbles arrived after our starters and the mains arrived just as we finished our starters and they had to clear the table . Not very organised. Not sure I would return . Plus 12.5% gratuity added automatically! We always leave a tip according to level of service - hate it when it's added already as you have to be really mean to ask for it to be removed as service was bad!

Would have given a 6 but the service was a bit slow considering the number of staff in the restaurant. However the food was excellent as always.

Spacious restaurant with comfortable seating. Lovely friendly helpful staff, fast service, beautifully presented food and excellent value. Free parking on the street in the evenings.

Went for Saturday lunch which was enjoyable. Good service - attentive without being overpowering, good menu and reasonably priced. Good ambience and not too loud. Food tasty.

The food was fantastic we had the weekend special lunch menu was very good value. The waiting staff were very welcoming and made sure that our meal was okay. It was a very good and relaxing visit.

We received a warm and efficient welcome and were brought menus very quickly, but did not feel rushed into choosing our food. We asked for 2 glasses of Blanc de Blanc as an aperitif and these arrived quickly. When we chose our food it was brought without too much of a wait and was served to us by two very polite waiters. Both our starters and main courses were delicious. One of us (guilty!) had chocolate mousse for pud which was lovely. Could not fault our visit at all, which was a birthday lunch for me. This branch of Cote is only half an hour from home, parking is a two-minute walk from the restaurant so we will be back!

The food, service and atmosphere all excellent. The staff were very welcoming and we look forward to our next visit. We will recommend and go again.

Waitress clearly wanted to be somewhere else! The manager, however, was delightful and even went out to by some mint sauce for my mum. Shame all staff weren't all like him. Food was nice though.

The service was great! Polite friendly staff who even taught us some French! The food is always to a high standard and is brought to your table in perfect timing! Couldn't recommend more :)

The staff were most polite, cheerful and could make recommendations about the specials and what would suit the members of the party who had special dietary requirements. They were unobtrusive but attentive and speedy yet relaxed. I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant for a relaxing enjoyable meal out.

Got allocated booth on request which was very helpful. Husband had scallops from the specials board and at £9+ for a starter you expect more then 3 small scallops! Outrageously bad value. Had to ask for table water a couple of times but apart from those negatives, had a good eating experience and the waiter was friendly and chatty. Will go back as this particular Cote is one of favourites.

We went for brunch on this busy bank holiday. The manager happily changed the table appointed to a preferred booth, the service and food were both excellent and it was a good experience.

A warm welcome with friendly staff . Great meal, great service, a lovely Easter Sunday lunch thank you. We look forward to returning in the not too distant future.

My friends and I were very pleased with our meal and the service at Cote. This is such a reliable place to go; we chose the early bird option and it was great to be able to do that.
