Food was good and price reasonable but service incredibly slow and very disappointing

Really lovely meal with great service. I couldn’t fault it. The waiter was polite and the fish was really tasty! We were given a glass of complimentary fizz for my birthday.

Clean with very enjoyable food, and yet the steak was flecked with carbon, and there was no chocolate on the cappuccino. We weren't even offered any. Water is given sparsely and staff don't really anticipate customer needs. Beware: the service charge is added automatically and it wasn't really professional that, on removing the service charge, the manager argued when we explained what could have been better about the service.

This was my first visit to the Cobham branch and will be my last. The food was good. However there was zero staff interaction with us as guests. Not even a smile. The food was plonked on the table. Usually we go to Kingston which is a friendly buzzy place but this was grim.

The service was well below normal. The restaurant was busy but the staff was not able to cope as it appeared they wereissong staff I. Several areas. One meal was cold and was returned to the kitchen to bring it back to normal heat. Unusual for Cobham a blip!

Food good and service better than we have experienced of late. We are regular customers and will continue to support. Slow service from the kitchen has been a problem in recent months but seems to have improved.

We love going to this restaurant as the food and service are consistent. We both had a complimentary cocktail which was lovely. I would have rated it higher as normally it is excellent but the steak was a bit fatty. This has not changed my opinion that it is a great restaurant.

We had the set lunch for my mum’s 80th birthday and they brought out a complimentary glass of fizz, really nice touch! Thank you.

Service was very slow for our main courses and when it did arrive it was cold. The serving staff were friendly but clearly over stretched.

Côte doesn’t ever disappoint. Incredible service, ambience and food. The team were great and so good with my coeliac requirements and you guys have such an extensive gluten free menu. Thank you, we had a fab evening and will absolutely be back again.

The food is consistently good at Cote. And it is good value for money, too. Great for 'ladies who lunch' as well as for dinner with friends. We'll certainly be back.

Wonderful delicious dishes as usual. Fridays is always busy but tonight we were greatly surprise for a Godwill discount equivalent to a bottle of wine! Very generous and very kind personnel. Definitely we are coming back to Cote Cobham.

Three lunches at Cobham this afternoon. All excellent with very good service. My rib eye steak was cooked perfectly the best at Cote to date. The complimentary wine was very welcome

Staff tried their best but a meltdown on Bank Holiday Monday Waited long long time Only 1 starter came to table Other starters 20mins later - first starter apparently someone else's- Asked politely how long for mains as 2 in party had to leave 10mins later (the wait was that long). Main course was not hot. We did get free drinks and some money off the bill but the meal ended up being quite stressful which is not the reason we booked a lunch out for. Other diners loudly complaining - staff said no Manager there. No excuse for: Delivering food to wrong tables(also tried to give us another couple's starters). Inexperienced staff. No Manager Can t have been many in the kitchen as food was unacceptably slow. Had to ask for napkins and cutlery! Staff tried hard so we didn't make a fuss like others we witnessed. Not a well run Cote.

Service below average. Waitress unfriendly, didn't umderstand and replied in curt manner when i asked if there were any cushions... no! No engagement as in hi, how are you.. nothing. Seating.. poor. Bench seats too low for ladies..it's like being back at school with high tables. Food ... calamari starter overcooked (batter very dark brown almost burnt), no bread offered to table even with optional charge. Salmon main very nice but 1 person had to wait for her dinner.. tge birthday girl. Better food, ambience, servuce for the money even against set menu prices. Won't be hurrying back.

Sadly the service was so bad. We’ve been here 1 hour and 40 mins and still haven’t been served our main meals. We haven’t been offered a drink and no one seems to be serving us. So disappointing. Obviously too busy for the staff to handle as it’s not normally like this. Bit sad as it’s not a great mother’s day meal for me.

You would have had six stars, but I was a bit short-changed with the caramel sauce and cream which accompanies my favourite creme caramel dessert!!!!!☹️ Such a shame!

Took over an hour for food to arrive!! Some of our party had to leave without eating!! No apology was given or discount rewarded! Wouldn’t recommend with small children as they get noisy and bored

We waited far too long for our meals to arrive and whilst the manager (?) kindly gave us a free bottle of wine the wait was far longer than we expected .I suffer from diabetes and need to eat by a certain time otherwise I experience problems. Our meals eventually arrived but not all at once and were incorrect. I appreciate it was Father's Day but it is now doubtful we will ever book again at Cote on 'special days' like today?

Friendly and helpful staff, great food and good value for money and that is why we keep coming back. Great Birthday meal and the complimentary Kira Royal was appreciated

A warm welcome, with happy, attentive staff for my group of 9 friends having brunch on Sunday. Food was great - great value menu of cooked breakfast with hot and cold drink for £10.50 and service brilliant. We will be back again! Thank you.

Very disappointing. We ordered the champagne breakfast but our waitress didn’t understand and we waited for a long time at an empty table. We asked for the champagne and one glass arrived. We had to explain again that all 4 adults had ordered champagne. Everything came at once and the table had too much on it including 2 bottles of water which we hadn’t asked for. The toast was cold as were the poached eggs on the vegetarian breakfast. It was much better last year!

The food was very nice and the service was good. However, £7 for the mussels starter and only receiving 9 of them is outrageous. Portion sizes seem to have been reduced whilst prices have stayed the same.

Took my mum and sisters here for mother’s day and the service was shocking! I am a celiac so can’t eat gluten, I asked the waitress if I could have the eggs florentine with out the muffin, she told me no I couldn’t. I said to her just ask them not to put the muffin on the plate. It was so rude and I don’t see why my request was difficult. Next we asked if we could have the champagne on the menu and our juice, we said could we have the coffee at the end of the meal, the waitress again said no and we had to have the coffee juice and champagne at the same time, this was a joke. My sister had an undercooked sausage so had to get a new one the waitress rolled her eyes at us, we were all shocked, I love Côte but today it was an embarrassment. Rude waitress ruined the whole experience.

My sister, friend and I had a wonderful time at Cote in Cobham. On entering the restaurant we we made very welcome. The food was quick and Delicious. Service was good.

We use your Cobham restaurant on a regular basis but the experience is not all ways up to standard. Today service was good but food very average mainly due to the veg being cold. The noise was unbearable due to kids shouting and screaming at the top of there voices. Not your fault down to inconsiderate parents. If we want that there are much cheaper options in Cobham.

The April specials menu is particularly good, and the lamb rump and plum dessert were excellent. As usual a warm and friendly service and atmosphere. A very pleasant evening.

Lovely lunch and staff were excellent will recommend cobham cotes to friends and family food was lovely mackerel and beetroot salad starter was lovely taste also the Toulouse sausages and lentils were fab

The food is always excellent and a very good choice. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable and the staff are attentive, friendly and charming. We go there often for that reason.

We went to Cote to celebrate a birthday and the food, as always, was excellent. We especially enjoyed the dishes from the Specials monthly menu. We were greeted warmly and enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant. We would like to congratulate the Management on the change in attitude since our previous visit when we received poor service. There were plenty of staff who were very attentive and served with a smile! A huge improvement. Annie D3nt

Enjoyable evening out with a friend. Restaurant really busy but service was quick and efficient. Food was nice and hot and delicious. Great evening topped off by the free Rhubarb Martinis for May.

We had a birthday party. Cotes do not supply birthday cakes, but they are happy if you bring one and they light the candles and serve the cake with style at the end of the meal. It was an excellent evening.

Great Value, high quality breakfast - best in town with great service. Choose formule for added value as it incredibly includes juice and a hot drink!

The staff at Côte in Cobham are polite and friendly. Also, the service is fast and efficient without being invasive. Our favourite Côte restaurant in the area!

Food good staff good but service from the kitchen was worst i have ever known. Took nearly one hour to get our lunch from time of order. Several customers walked out and lots were complaining about the delay.
