Côte - St Martin's Lane

Great food, nice ambience and extremely good value - can't really fault it at all for the price paid. Already planning to revisit.

As usual good food with very good service. Good choice.

Generally , we enjoy a meal at Cote. This time was exceptionally bad due to the excessive noise level making it impossible to have a normal conversation.

We had the Theatre menu. The service was quick and friendly and the food was good. We did not feel rushed. I would come again.

This is good value for money, but it can be very noisy in the evening. For that reason, it may be best to go this one after 7:30 pm unless you have theatre tickets. The service and food are very good.

Excellent pre theatre meal at a great price. The set price menus give a very good list for each course from which to choose. The wine was also good and not expensive.

could not fault the food, delicious! attentive staff , excellent service and lovely atmosphere. We will definitely return when we are back in the big city again.

Extremely helpful and attentive staff with my disabled husband with a chair offered immediately we arrived and help to the table as well. Although the restaurant was full we didn’t wait long for our food.

Excellent dinner, despite being very busy staff were attentive and food arrived quickly and was delicious. Perfect pre-theatre meal. Steak was particularly good. Only improvement could have been for the white wine to be chilled before serving.

Food was really good and consistent with othet Cote Braseries we have visited. Service fast. Definitely need to book after 5pm as this is a very busy restaurant.

Although this is an extremely busy restaurant, it still manages to make the experience special. The hard working yet always friendly waiting staff combined with an excellent menu make this our go-to restaurant when in "Theatreland".

Table available spot in time. Really helpful staff, with a smile, and very fast service. I would recommend this restaraunt to anyone seeing a show in West End

Brilliant from start to finish. Lovely cocktails, nice starter, beautiful main course topped off with a super desert. Add together the great service, who brought complimentary cocktails and a complimentary desert to my partner, whose birthday it was, made it a wonderful occasion. Thank you St Martin's Lane. Good choice of high quality food on lunch set menu. Excellent value as usual. However, service between courses was slow & tables are too close together.

The food on the set menu is good value and is of very reasonable quality. The service is fair. The main drawback is that the restaurant is noisy.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We had the steak frites followed by creme caramel. Both delicious and excellent value for the money. Service was polite and friendly and super efficient. I would definitely recommend Cote to friends and go back again myself

The perfect place for a pre-theatre meal - but the noise level was so intense that it was absolutely impossible to converse with my wife. However, the service was faster than we anticipated - so we were expected to leave to allow further customers to occupy our table.

Food temperature of main courses was tepid when delivered to table - sea food pasta mostly shells in the sauce - flavour overall was good though - service from staff was excellent - we use Cote a lot and were slightly disappointed

Sour dough bread was a bit hard for 'easy' eating & there were bones in the fish parmentier.

We like Cote because we know what we're getting at a reasonable price and the service is speedy and friendly

Lovely atmosphere, great staff. The food came far too quickly, it felt hurried. I asked for a delay between starter and mains but the food arrived within 5 minutes. When I complained about this the waiter was extremely apologetic and offered us complimentary coffee and pudding. Excellent response and customer service!

Enjoyed our meal , the waitress was very polite, happy & very helpful. The food came out quick which we was pleased because we had a show to go to . I would recommend you anytime .

We were sat right at the very back of the restaurant where it was very hot. the table was laid for 6 and we had booked for eight. The waiter got one more chair but then one of our party had to get her own chair from a free table. Then we had to ask for 2 sets of cutlery several times. one of our party asked for bacardi and coke but we were told there was no rum on the premises as there was no room -surely you would expect stock of such a popular drink? However the food as always was delicious

As a regular customer for the last few yaers I can make my opinion for sure. And should like to say the restaurant & staff are working very hard making their efforts and skills to provide a very good service and nice food to the customers. And they succeeded in their efforts, some of the staff in particular... My waiter( don’t remember his name, originally from Albania..) made a very good service,working very quickly and payed attention to all small details I asked for. The atmosphere in the restaurant was nice & pleasant. Food and wine usually just great! I’m going to recommend Côte in St.Martine Lane to my neighbors... Delicious food, generous portions. Friendly and efficient service. Have dined at Cote many times and am never disappointed. Only negative comment is the sound level is difficult when trying to have a conversation.

Recently we were promised that our request for the reservation mentioned could only be confirmed after a period of 48 hours! To compound this, Cote St Albans did not have the courtesy to contact us either way. Very unprofessional. We booked Bill's restaurant instead, where we had a good experience. Needless to say we will stick with the excellent St Martin's branch and it's marvellous staff.

We went for the pre-theatre prestige menu, which was excellent. The service was good, staff very friendly and helpful. The house red wasn't bad either.

The staff were polite, attentive and efficient throughout our visit. The restaurant was busy but we were not kept waiting for our food. The buzz around the establishment created a great atmosphere. This was our second time visiting Cote, and we realised why we had come back. Highly recommended for quality cuisine, and first rate service.

Service and food not as good as on previous visits. 2 parts of the order were wrong (although quickly rectified) had to wait a long time for butter to come (asked twice). Had I not been to this branch of Cote before I would’ve thought it was good but I have probably eaten in Cote St Martins Lane 25+ times over the last 4 years. Therefore my rating is based on specific knowledge of the restaurant and staff

As usual, a very good experience at Côte. The menus cater for all tastes and most dietary needs, the food is nicely-prepared and presented, the wines are decently-priced, and the service is friendly and professional in a buzzy ambience. We were with discriminating friends, and everyone was happy. Excellent value.

I visited after the restaurant after the theatre on the 13 April with two friends. I thought I lost my keys( they fell out of my pocket). I was very concerned when I could not enter my house!! The next day I telephoned and spoke with the Manager. She was very helpful and ensured that they were returned to me within a couple of hours Many thanks. I shall be back soon for dinner again .

We regularly use about three branches of this chain and have never been disappointed. The food is good, the staff excellent and the experience most enjoyable. We are always made to feel most welcome, please keep up the good work.

A fantastic meal with amazing service from our waiter (Tiago). The whole team went above and beyond to help us celebrate my mother's 60th birthday - Could not be more appreciative or recommend Cote St Martin's Lane more!

Lovely meal and good service from friendly attentive staff but it was so noisy in the restaurant that I could hardly hear anything my lunch guest had to say. The noise levels would sadly put me off coming back again.

Food was good service excellent small mistake made with starter order but free bread and olives brought out while waiting for mistake to be rectified

A very pleasant lunch with a good choice of dishes on both fixed price menus. I really enjoyed the french onion soup (again) and my guest her mackerel and beetroot salad. Main courses also good - my salmon and her risotto vert. No time (or space) for pudding.This restaurant is always pretty noisy - packed, low ceilings - compared to other Cotes I've tried.

Excellent range of food and good value for money served by pleasant and friendly staff in a great location. Would recommend making a reservation to avoid disappointment.

Great atmosphere and food! Staff nice and attentive. Not as trendy it terms of decor as your more modern ones, could do with a refurb. Love Côte!

Excellent service. Prestige menu provides outstanding value for money given the location. I had the Breton mussels followed by the artichoke risotto. My dining partner had the Feuilleté Provençal followed by the pork tenderloin.

I went for Sunday lunch with the girls and then went back on Friday night for dinner with my partner. Both times this restaurant delivered. good food and professional and friendly staff. Will return again.
