Lovely meal offering good quality and superb value. We were served by an excellent, professional team who provided great customer service during an extremely busy pre-theatre sitting. Wonderful both to experience and observe! Many thanks.

The food was, as always, well prepared, well presented and very tasty. The Bordeaux was a bit thin but otherwise quite good. The music was, as is the custom, too loud but the general ambience the friendly staff and the good value of the menu more than overcomes that irritant. If the restaurant is ever refurbished I would ask that the noisy wooden floors be replaced with some sound abosorbant material.

St Martin's Lane Cote is always a pleasure to visit. The Far East Asian woman who manages it warmly greeted us, setting the tone for a fabulous a la carte experience. In total contrast to the shambles that is Cote in St Albans, where even booking for a medium party is too onerous a task for them. Recently we were promised that our request for the reservation mentioned could only be confirmed after a period of 48 hours! To compound this, Cote St Albans did not have the courtesy to contact us either way. Very unprofessional. We booked Bill's restaurant instead, where we had a good experience. Needless to say we will stick with the excellent St Martin's branch and it's marvellous staff.

First time visiting this particular restaurant but it was a little disappointing compared to the one in Clifton Bristol. The service was a little slow and we had to ask for our complimentary drinks a few times. When we ordered our meals, the starters were fine but when the main courses arrived all dishes were overcooked - one even couldn't even eat their pork due to it being too overcooked/tough and one meal was incorrect! upon payment, we noticed we were charged for the cocktails which we had to query. I really like Cote Brasserie in Clifton but not sure I'd go to the one in Covent Gardens again due to the variety of choices very close to the theatre district. Sorry :(

Our service was amazing everyone was lovely. Food was a little hit and miss. We both had calamari which was nice. My salmon was a little dry. But everything else was good.

Nice food, bit pricey. Bit noisy. But overall pretty good. Slightly annoying when they ask you for review then state that you haven't been wordy enough! Are they paying me for this review? I don't think so!

Cote's high standard can always be relied upon. We received a warm welcome. The service was good and so was the food and the atmosphere was excellent. It was rather noisy but that was only because it was full of people enjoying their lunch.

Had a meal at this restaurant yesterday after visiting theatre, it was a lovely experience. Staff really dedicated and helpful and everyone of them had a smile for my husband and me, made us feel very special. I had the chicken and my husband had the salmon, they were both delicious and cooked beautifully. The chicken especially was so moist and tasty. We would both highly recommend this restaurant, and you definitely need to book as it was very busy when we arrived and when we left. ( This did not impact on service timing, meals and drinks were bought in very good time to our table.). This was my birthday ( I had not mention this) and this meal after our theatre visit really made my day and birthday. Thank you to all staff of this restaurant.

Very good food; attractive, buzzy ambience and really wonderful, warm and impressively professional service from Olivia, for whom nothing was too much trouble, including going out briefly to get mint sauce from a local shop. Recently a staff member at the London Bridge branch said, " ...everybody's been asking for mint sauce with lamb." So please save Olivia the trouble- not very French, I know, but a reasonable expectation if you serve lamb in England. Otherwise full marks- thank you!

We quite often meet at a Cote, but this was our first visit to this branch, and we were not disappointed. Our booking was for lunch pre-theatre and the restaurant was very busy (and noisy), but the service was excellent - efficient, calm and personal. As always, the menu choices were varied and interesting, and very good value. The three of us chose different options and very much enjoyed our meals. One of our trio is lactose- and dairy-intolerant, and care was taken to ensure her requirements were met. A chance remark of mine led to a final lovely surprise: the presentation of a complimentary dessert, complete with candle, accompanied by a rendition of Happy Birthday from a quartet of the delightful staff. All in all, a very pleasant experience!

I had booked a pre theatre table however we had to wait in a queue for 10 mins and only after I pushed were we seated in front of those who hadn’t booked. Our table was in the basement and was hot and cramped. Whilst service was quick and the food tasty, we had so little time following the delay to be seated that we had to rush and it was not a pleasant experience.

Very disappointing! I chose Cote to take two guests from America as I have always had consistently good experiences. Unfortunately I felt very let down from the time we arrived having to stand in the doorway and wait for our table (we were offered a table in an empty basement/dungeon which we refused) service was very slow and erratic and the food was average with my guest having to send his steak back as it was over cooked! Not your best...
