Overall a really good night just waited a little while to get a drinks order taken, and then one of my guests did not receive their pudding option as we were told they had run out, even though I had pre ordered everything 72 hours prior to arrival. I don’t feel this should have happened. But we do love coming to Cotes as it is always good value for money and a nice atmosphere.

Music initially much too loud. Intrusive. Wider choice for vegetarians. I know Cote is French but less is eaten today.

Lovely meal offering good quality and superb value. We were served by an excellent, professional team who provided great customer service during an extremely busy pre-theatre sitting. Wonderful both to experience and observe! Many thanks.

Generally , we enjoy a meal at Cote. This time was exceptionally bad due to the excessive noise level making it impossible to have a normal conversation.

The food on the set menu is good value and is of very reasonable quality. The service is fair. The main drawback is that the restaurant is noisy.

The food was good at a reasonable price. Excellent fast and friendly service, only it was rather loud and we found it hard to keep up a conversation. No doubt we will go again . Elli

We went for a pre-theatre dinner. 9 of us . It was great value and delicious food! We had the set menus and some wine. Highly recommend! We were eating in the basement which to be honest was quite loud.

First time visiting this particular restaurant but it was a little disappointing compared to the one in Clifton Bristol. The service was a little slow and we had to ask for our complimentary drinks a few times. When we ordered our meals, the starters were fine but when the main courses arrived all dishes were overcooked - one even couldn't even eat their pork due to it being too overcooked/tough and one meal was incorrect! upon payment, we noticed we were charged for the cocktails which we had to query. I really like Cote Brasserie in Clifton but not sure I'd go to the one in Covent Gardens again due to the variety of choices very close to the theatre district. Sorry :(

We had a table booked for 5 o'clock. No pre-theatre menu only a la carte or special mother's day menu. Started off well but a 30 minute wait between starters and mains is not acceptable; especially when no apology or explanation is offered.

THIS IS MY THIRD VISIT TO COTE, ON AN ANNUAL DAYTRIP TO LONDON. I COME BACK BECAUSE THE FOOD IS VERY GOOD, AND THE SERVICE FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING. I DO, HOWEVER, DISLIKE THE ADDED SERVICE CHARGE OF 12,5 %. I WOULD ALWAYS GIVE 10% ANYWAY AND IT IS EMBARASSING TO HAVE THAT TAKEN OFF THE MENU. IT IS VERY LOUD AND LIVELY, BUT IT DOESN'T STOP ME COMING BACK. I UNDERSTAND THE QUICK TURNOVER, PARTICULARLY BEFORE 7PM, BUT YESTERDAY I DID FEEL THE MEAL WAS RUSHED. BUT I THINK THE POSITIVES OUTWEIGH THE NEGATIVES. THANKS TO FRONT OF HOUSE FOR TAKING MY DAUGHTER'S PHONE FOR CHARGING, WITHOUT QUESTION.

Bright and cheerful welcome and service which continued through the meal, even when the restaurant was full and staff very busy, with the pre theatre rush. Layout and tabling a good mix for different size groups. Wine and food were brought when appropriate without delay or undue haste. Food and preparation was all good quality, although the lardons had too much vinaigrette for my taste. Altogether a good experience .

We quite often meet at a Cote, but this was our first visit to this branch, and we were not disappointed. Our booking was for lunch pre-theatre and the restaurant was very busy (and noisy), but the service was excellent - efficient, calm and personal. As always, the menu choices were varied and interesting, and very good value. The three of us chose different options and very much enjoyed our meals. One of our trio is lactose- and dairy-intolerant, and care was taken to ensure her requirements were met. A chance remark of mine led to a final lovely surprise: the presentation of a complimentary dessert, complete with candle, accompanied by a rendition of Happy Birthday from a quartet of the delightful staff. All in all, a very pleasant experience!

Cote is always reliable and the food is good. The service is good although not always exceptional for the added charge. I elected to take up the offer of a free cocktail but due to misleading information from the first waitress we ended up not qualifying. So I will take future offers with a 'pinch of salt'.

Service from our waitress was friendly and considerate. My tuna nicoise was not up to usual standard: it was small, arrived without new potatoes in it and I'd asked for the tuna to be cooked medium but it was rare. I asked for it to be cooked a bit more and it came back medium rare. The restaurant was very busy but unless I'm offered a discount because of that the quality of the food should be the same as always. Disappointed.

Very disappointing! I chose Cote to take two guests from America as I have always had consistently good experiences. Unfortunately I felt very let down from the time we arrived having to stand in the doorway and wait for our table (we were offered a table in an empty basement/dungeon which we refused) service was very slow and erratic and the food was average with my guest having to send his steak back as it was over cooked! Not your best...

Hi Food quality very good and the creme caramel was excellent! Only negative is that the main course was lukewarm. Very helpful waiter, who provided directions (using his mobile) on how to find the theatre.

Love Cote. Always great food and great value. Try the fish stew, you won’t regret it! Atmosphere is buzzy but not too noisy. Friendly and quick service which combined with a location in the heart of theatreland make it’s a perfect pre-show choice.
