Very pleasant waitress and a quiet table by the window. Not feeling cramped as you can on other tables. Food very good and well presented. Perhaps one fillet of sea bass made the portion a little small.

Good food, good service (they very kindly replaced a starter after I had nocked a full wine glass onto it) and good value all round.

Well placed for walking to theatre afterwards. Lovely cheerful restaurant with pleasant staff. As it was a birtday meal pre theatre we were presented with two glasses of wine. Good atmosphere in this french restaurant food great so would thoroughly recommend it.

Good and efficient staff. Only downside was the table position, next to the stairway to the basement and toilets. Otherwise, nice menu and efficient service. Good vale pre-theatre menu

We were served fairly quickly for lunch as we needed to get to a theatre for a Saturday matinee. The restaurant was very busy and quite noisy, but that couldn't be helped. Food was very good, as always at Cote.

Busy, a bit touristy...good service, buzzy... I've been in a few Cotes, this one was fine but I've eaten better food. Would I go here again? Probably...but I wouldn't rush back. It was all okay with service good

First Class Service and Food. I have been a regular customer for several years and find it the best value in town. The staff are well trained and always so polite and helpful.

Food was good value but service was disappointing. It took a long time to order and despite asking for the newly advertised vegetarian menu 3 times, we were ever offered it. So there was only 1 hot vegetarian option- risotto which has been the only vegetarian option (apart from salads) for ever. If Cote is going to advertise a new vegetarian menu, then they should offer it.

Good food, very good service from our waitress, good prices. Very noisy, too many hard surfaces reflecting it back and forth. Back ground "musack" should be banded

For the first time ever in a Côte we had an English waitress, and it happened to be her first day. But she was magnifique! Thanks, Melody, for a gracious and attentive evening of service. I bet you are exhausted. You worked hard but made it look easy. It's really marvellous at Côte how everyone helps each other out. The food is absolutely delicious, always, but tonight Melody gave us tips on the wine, and she was spot-on in her advice. I will certainly return to this restaurant and will hope to congratulate them again on the superb dining experience.

We eat here regularly. The service and ambience is excellent. My only complaint is about the banal background music which I find totally unnecessary. There is something attractive about the sound of chatting in a restauarant and music has the effect of raising that level as diners are competing with it to be heard. It wasn't loud but very irritating.

It was, as expected very busy for pre theatre dinner, service was good at first and then slowed down, so we ended up rushing! We ordered the bill at the same time as the dessert; the bill came but the dessert didn't! We had to leave without our dessert. Not happy.

Very good food. Prompt service. Didn't realise how close our table was to the next table; this meant that the waiter had to pass me my dishes and wait for me to take them - hardly ideal.

We arrived for a pre theatre booking at 17:45 and were immediately seated. The Pre theatre meal is very good value. The restaurant filled up very quickly and although it seemed chaos everything was served like clockwork by the extremely hard working staff. The food was superb too. We will be back. Highly recommended!

Went fit the pre theatre set menu. Good value. I like cote similar prices to pizza express but much nicer. Love the steak and frites and chocolate mousse. Also like the fact that all the service charge hoes to the staff.

Pre -Theatre looks good value based on my observation of other guests - went for the a la carte which though slightly more expensive was tasty and of the quantity required. Service good 66 wine well priced.

Another disappointing experience on the pre-theatre set menu (only 1 of us had it). The restaurant is under staffed for this very busy period so the service is very poor. The food was below standard sadly too. We ordered coffee. It took 20 minutes to arrive and it was very cold when it did. I finally managed to attract a waitress and ask her to replace it ... which she did. The second one was also cold but we were not in the mood to complain. Optional service was (as always) already included in the bill so ... what is optional about that?!? Do they really think people would ask for it to be removed and the whole payment slip done again when you have the machine in your hands. I am so loyal to Cote and am beginning to wonder why. It can be a great experience but it can equally be very poor ... as it was today.

The staff are friendly and efficient and the service is very good. The food arrives quickly and is delicious with a good selection, and on warm plates which to me is essential. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will certainly be returning. The only reason that I gave a 5 instead of a 6 was because the tables are too close together.

Ate here on a very busy Saturday after seeing a matinee. Despite being full to bursting the staff were great - friendly, professional and attentive. The food was as we are used to from cote, having eaten at other branches before - tasty and bivelt presented. We will definitely eat there again.

We had a lovely leisurely lunch in Cote St Martin's Lane. My friend used the set menu and I used the a la carte. We both thought the food was great and the staff were all pleasant and helpful. It's essential to book in advance as it's always busy at this Cote because it's in Theatre land! We've been before and will go back again.

The pre-theatre menu was great value, offering two or three courses for a fixed price. The range of options was good and service was fast, efficient and friendly.
