Staff were pleasant and service swift. Food was of a high standard and very enjoyable Both of us thought the wine was excellent Good value
We had so much fun and the food was great - really good service pre-theatre - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend going here... staff are fantastic xx
For the first time ever in a Côte we had an English waitress, and it happened to be her first day. But she was magnifique! Thanks, Melody, for a gracious and attentive evening of service. I bet you are exhausted. You worked hard but made it look easy. It's really marvellous at Côte how everyone helps each other out. The food is absolutely delicious, always, but tonight Melody gave us tips on the wine, and she was spot-on in her advice. I will certainly return to this restaurant and will hope to congratulate them again on the superb dining experience.
Very helpful staff and great quality, well priced food. It is hard to believe you are in London. I Would recommend and would go again
First Class Service and Food. I have been a regular customer for several years and find it the best value in town. The staff are well trained and always so polite and helpful.
Another disappointing experience on the pre-theatre set menu (only 1 of us had it). The restaurant is under staffed for this very busy period so the service is very poor. The food was below standard sadly too. We ordered coffee. It took 20 minutes to arrive and it was very cold when it did. I finally managed to attract a waitress and ask her to replace it ... which she did. The second one was also cold but we were not in the mood to complain. Optional service was (as always) already included in the bill so ... what is optional about that?!? Do they really think people would ask for it to be removed and the whole payment slip done again when you have the machine in your hands. I am so loyal to Cote and am beginning to wonder why. It can be a great experience but it can equally be very poor ... as it was today.
Good food - portion size reflected pricing but fine for lunch and food came quickly. Very busy - had to wait a while for table altho had reservation. Very pleasant waitress.
As outstanding quality and value as ever. We come here every time we go to the theatre in London and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended!
Staff were pleasant and service swift. Food was of a high standard and very enjoyable Both of us thought the wine was excellent Good value
Very good food and helpful staff though water for the table didn't arrive till after we had finished our starter. Excellent value and great location
Great food with plenty of choice. Great waiting staff, always with a smile and despite it being full, we didn't have to wait long for the food.
Great location, pre theatre menu and food. Pre theatre we ended up rushing our final course due to delays in the kitchen, resulting in a frantic run for the theatre!
Staff were pleasant and service swift. Food was of a high standard and very enjoyable Both of us thought the wine was excellent Good value
Once again we visited Cotes we usually visit the Soho branch but as the theatre was nearer we decided to dine here. As usual great value and delicious food.
Considering I had reserved a table 1 week in advance I felt we could have been given a table on the ground floor which is much lighter and generally more pleasant than the basement room we were put in. The pre theatre menu was excellent and the service vert pleasant.
Booking system worked well as loads of casuals being turned away as FULL. Not surprising & very convenient for Colisium/theatre. Cote maintains a consistent standard wherever situated. Totally reliable. D A C May 17
Great choices on the a la carter menu. Although I think the waiter might have been fairly new as we got offered desserts and main courses that we hadn't ordered, and got given the wrong bill - ours was cheaper !
The experience was awful the waiter took no interest in out table and was extremely rude until his family/friends arrived whereby he smiled and was all over them! Really disappointed with service and the food was average
Good ambiance, good food and value for money. Very enjoyable and would recommend the venue. Cote are always reliable. That covers it very well. 👍🙂👍...
Friendly and efficient service. Good food and great location. Advise you to book in advance as lots of people were turned away. Would go again.
Pre-theatre menu was excellent. Good selection from which to choose, well prepared and presented. Waitress was brilliant. Despite the fact that the restaurant was packed, we felt really comfortable and in safe hands.
Diverse pre-theatre menu, though, for a pre-theatre meal the service is sometimes slow. Need to ensure you time manage your meal so you're not late. Would go again.
The service was great but unfortunately we both ordered chicken. My husbands salad and my grilled 1/2 chicken We're both so dry as to be almost inedible. Very sad since even with the extreme noise factor we do love the menu MInus the chicken...and the restaurant.
Good deal for pre-theatre menu. We were sitting downstairs in a corner but very prompt service and attention from waiting staff. For 3 people including service and soft drink each £56 - very enjoyable for central london location
Busy time and manager did all he could to ensure minimal delays against booking times. Meal ok but 1 order was wrong and took help from Manager to speed up replacement . Staff friendly .
Cheap and cheerful post theatre menu. Always reliable and never disappoints. Friendly attentive staff and speedy service make for the perfect post theatre dining experience in the west end.
Lovely food and nice relaxed service. Staff were very helpful and friendly. In addition there was no pressure to finish quickly so we could enjoyed a leisurely meal. Thanks Cote!
Great food at reasonable prices. A menu which caters for all palates and very good value set menus.Excellent service, attentive but not intrusive. Always a great buzz at lunchtime and in the evenings.
Excellent. Good service Good cooking Good choice of menu for a pre theatre meal Thank you very much. i would recommend it to my friends
Restaurant was very busy but the welcome we received was excellent and our server could not be faulted. The food was somewhat average and my chicken, although beaten out, was tougher than it should have been. Whilst there was nothing to complain about per se, neither was there anything to shout about. It was okay.
Great service and food. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food from the a la carte menu was excellent and from the lunch set menu was good value.
Always a pleasure to visit Cote. They always serve good food at incredible prices and the service is first class. Will certainly continue using Cote
From the selections of the menu, quality of food, wine & service was second to none. The food is always piping hot, excellent portions , fresh and tasty. It's always busy because it so popular but standards are never compromised. Highly recommend, but deffinalely book a table before hand as we've learnt to .
Went for lunch prior to Theatre. Arrived a little late but was warmly greeted. Despite it being very busy the service was excellent and the food very good. Would certainly use again.
We have visited this restaurant on a number of occasions. On this particular visit we arrived at 6.15pm and the restaurant was very busy; this made it a little too noisy to hear people on the opposite side of the table speaking. However, it quietened down about 7.00pm, Service was good, as was the food.
Food was delicious and very good value. As usual, staff very friendly and attentive - our visit couldn't have been better. Thank you. We had taken a friend who had never heard of the Cote Brasserie chain and she was very impressed.
Great meal and wonderful service, never disappoints and excellent value. The set menus are great value and their locations are perfect for the theatre, a must go to restaurant
Lovely food as always. Very helpful staff made it a pleasure to dine at Cote Brasseries, St.Martin's Lane. . We were a group of 8 having a pre-theatre meal. Service and food was spot on.
Good welcome, excellent value meal (set menu). I always marvel they produce so much good food for such a reasonable price. Friendly staff and overall very enjoyable lunch. Warmly recommended.
We have been here many times because the food is tasty and reasonably priced. We have never had a poor experience until today. We had to wait ages for our food and it only arrived after we had been forced to chase it up and it transpired that the order had not actually been placed. We were given complementary bread and olives at this point. My husband's starter and our steaks were absolutely fine but my starter, the pisaladiere, was disappointing: the sweet onion mix was quite thinly spread on the overbaked flatbread and there wasn't an anchovy in sight. I ordered a second glass of wine and again we had to chase this up. To be fair to the restaurant we did have our complementary bread and olives and we were not charged for the second glass of wine. They also waived the service charge. However, we would rather have paid the full price and had decent service.
Great food, great value as always. Lovely atmosphere busy yet service good. We always eat here on trip to London, best value in West End
The host greeted us in a very friendly manner. The waiter was helpful and professional. The pretheatre 3 course meal was very good. We would go back next time we're in London. If you like chocolate, get the mousse!
Excellent as always Sea bass fab mackerel starter great Steak frites really nice Lovely day in covent garden We will be returning very soon Thank you
Arrived in time for breakfast menu. Lovely waitress advised us to do the breakfast package & quickly before the 12 noon cut off. Great service & decent food at a rwasonable price.
We arrived early to a warm welcome and were seated straight away. The service throughout was friendly and efficient. The quality of the food was very good and good value for money. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.
Excellent food at a good price delivered with a speedy & friendly service just what you need when you have a theatre booked. Best to book in advance as many people were unsuccessful in securing a table as they hadn't booked in advance
Helpful staff, maybe a bit slow at taking orders and they weren't full. Food ok, not fantastic. Nice atmosphere, seated in a booth which is best in my opinion.
A friendly welcome. Good service - attentive but not too attentive! Lunch time menu deal had by me and my friends! Great choice and very tasty! good value for the money!
Highly recommend, good menu, staff helpfu, pleasant, efficient and friendly, just as we would expect from this chain of restaurants. Food delicious and always varied but with some retained favourites.
This restaurant is situated right in the heart of London and theatre-land. Great busy atmosphere, lovely food, good staff, unhurried. Would definitely book this restaurant again.
Other cotes are more spacious even in London. This one felt cramped and six adults in a booth was cosy . Main server was fine but let down by his colleagues who attending us at different times and mixed up meals and failed to bring a new order of drinks despite being asked a number of times . They did hold our reservation when we phoned prior after problems on the Piccadilly line so credit to the place and would have been nice if the one waiter remained with us rather than a mixture that may have led to confusion at times
Very nice meal, although the starter, pork loin was rather small,. The service was quite good and the overall timing of the dishes was satisfactory.
