Another excellent pre-theatre meal in this busy branch of Cote. The value for money, the friendly staff, service and ambience were all just what we like.
Really nice food and a leisurely lunch. Restaurant is right in the heart of town and represents very good value on the set menu options. Slightly spoilt by a noisy group seated near us.
Lovely evening with friends. Our dishes were beautifully cooked and served including tuna salad, fish parmienter and duck breast. Followed by deserts. The price including a bottle of wine and coffee £120 for 4 people. Cote in Tavistock street is one of my favourite restaurants. Highly recommended.
A lively Brasserie with an efficient pre theatre menu beside Covent Garden. Lovely hearty French food,I would recommend the pork tenderloin was melt in the mouth tender.
We enjoyed all aspects of our visit: very friendly and efficient staff, nice atmosphere, and a tasty and enjoyable meal. Cote is always consistent, and that is a big plus!
Great food, service and good value. Busy pre theatre time but didn't affect the speed of service or quality of food, staff friendly and welcoming Great food, service and good value. Busy pre theatre time but didn't affect the speed of service or quality of food, staff friendly and welcoming
Always good. Charlotte the waitress is always charming efficient and attentive. Food excellent as ever
Our second visit to this particular Côte Amazing food yet again. Service and staff impeccable. Atmosphere really buzzing. Can thoroughly recommend and hope to be back soon.
Delicious reasonably priced meal with exceptional service! We went to London to celebrate our Daughters 30th Birthday and Son-in-laws Birthday. I booked this restaurant on my Daughter’s recommendation as she had recently visited prior to seeing a show. When the waitress found out we were celebrating she brought over some complimentary drinks for us all and also a small reprise free pudding. This was a really lovely gesture and made our stay even more special. Thank you for a lovely time, definitely come back!
visited on Saturday...restaurant was very busy, but the service was very good. the food arrived very quickly and was hot and tasty...very service will be back.
Fantastic venue for our early evening meal offering great value ..especially in central London. Guaranteed quality no matter where you eat. Will return again very soon.
Fabulous staff who make the difference and consistently high quality of food
Excellent service and great quality for value. Overall I had a wonderful dinner and that is why I keep coming to this restaurant as one of my favorite spots in London.
Lunch with a friend. Easy booking. Friendly. Good service. Good food. Covent Garden is a very competitive area and this restaurant competes well with similar brasseries.
Excellent service, the staff went above and beyond to make my mum's birthday lunch special, thank you so much!! Complimentary drinks on arrival and then a lovely cake and candle singing happy birthday, she was chuffed!! Will be back for sure
Had the 3 course Pre theatre set menu. The food was all very tasty and very good value. The service was excellent.
Good experience for a pre theatre meal. Staff were nice and the food arrived promptly at first, but a little slower as the restaurant filled up.
Great food at a resonance price. Perfect for a couple up to a group of friends!
This was a very ordinary meal. The sourdough toast that was served with my wife's salmon rillettes has obviously been sitting around for quite a while and was consequently dried out and too hard to eat. The watercress garnish was limp. The salad that came with her sea bass was past limp - it was brown and slimy! Not a good advert for a chain that stakes its reputation on serving consistently good food.
Pre theatre meal, very good menu, fantastic buzz, good food and wine, extremely efficient and professional waitress. A very good experience and we will certainly return.
This restaurant was a very good choice as a place to eat after a theatre matinee performance. Excellent table, excellent service and very good food, representing great value for money, and there was a lively atmosphere.
Really lovely people working here! Great food and atmosphere, it was very busy but all the staff without exception were helpful and nothing was too much for them. Thank you for a wonderful meal!
The wooden rail downstairs to the toilets needs replacing. Splinter in hand. Brilliant quick and friendly service ideal for pre- theatre. Cote’s french onion soup always good.
Staff lovely and coped with our request for slightly different meal's. Will come again when back in London, thank you for everything and the hospitality. Steve
This was my second time eating at Cote Brasserie Covent Garden and again I would recommend the food, the choice and the service. It is busy around 5pm while people eat before the theatre so I would recommend booking if you want to go at that time of day.
Great service, great food. My wife is coeliac and we know we can always relax when we come to Cote. We also got a seat in the window which, in the Covent Garden / Theatre area, was fun watching the passing people & goings on. The pork belly was gorgeous.
Loved this Cote, it was super busy on Mothers Day so understandably the service was a a bit patchy. All our food arrived together and was delicious. Our son was well cared with an excellent menu for as a coeliac and we all had great meals. Set meal was a fab deal! Thanks Cote X
As always a very enjoyable pre-ROH meal. Good quality and value. Pleasant atmosphere. Very helpful staff. A convenient and ideal venue for pre theatre or lunchtime dining.
The meal was beautifully cooked, well seasoned and all fresh ingredients served piping hot. The staff were very courteous and attentive even tbough they were very busy. We will come again. Red Hatters - St Neots Toller Girls.
The food from the premier menu was excellent. Tasty and good size portions. Attentive but not intrusive service and a good ambiance. A very pleasant experience.
First time at Cote Brasserie and we were really impressed with the service, ambience and standard and choice of food. Will definitely be going to another one of your restaurants in a different location nearer to home.
Good food but what stands out for me are the people...all so polite, friendly and helpful.
Four of us booked for a pre-theatre meal. The food was absolutely fantastic and the service was really good. Excellent value for money and we would definitely recommend.
A pleasant meal in a very busy restaurant. Reasonably comfortable, but a little draughty, since it was the coldest day of the year so far.
Brilliant Service, food and value. My wife and I are regular 'high end' diners, but we love this place when we're in Covent Garden, from Scotland. Genuinely can't believe the quality of the food for the price. bottle of champagne is only about £35 too!
Always go to Cote when we go to the theatre. Never disappointed always consistent in every way. Excellent choice on alacarte and pre theatre menus and affordable.
Every time we come to London we always book this restuarant ( first class as always )
As usual, great value, taste, and service. Will be back,
Fabulous place, with really nice staff. The food was truly wonderful, we couldn’t fault anything. I would honestly recommend eating at this restaurant if you enjoy eating good food at a nice restaurant.
Good food and service. Restaurant was somewhat noisy but didn't really detract from overall good experience.
May 20 was my birthday and I had lunch with 2 pals. The promised complimentary kir royals were provided. Very nice! The food we all had was very well received; it included starters of very well cooked calamari, mains of asparagus risotto, a breton fish stew (mine) and mussels in a cream-based sauce. My pal who had the mussels showed the waiter the closed one remaining on his plate and said that it should perhaps have been filtered out in the kitchen. When we got the bill, the cost of his dish had been deducted as a goodwill gesture. Amazing! The coffee I ordered was a decaff espresso. Bizarrely what I got was barely a thimbleful, much smaller than even the most 'ristretto' espresso one would get in a bar in Italy. The restaurant in Tavistock St is quite large and, as it was Monday, a lot of tables were free. We were placed right next to a table occupied by 4 or 5 very garrulous ladies talking at high volume. I suppose we should have asked to move to another table! But never mind. On the whole many thanks to Cote where I've eaten many times and will continue to eat. Pietro di Bembo
Lovely atmosphere, cramped seating and the food took a long time considering it was the theatre menu. We ran to the theatre!
Very pleasant staff, excellent service and great food!! Great for pre or post theatre visits. Atmosphere was very conducive to a most pleasant and enjoyable experience Will certainly go again
We have not finished meal yet but food good service excellent
Nice touch to have complimentary birthday drinks and pudding with candle for the birthday girl! Great service with a smile too and lovely meal.
Mussels to start had gone rather cold. Cheese to end was also cold, as if straight from the fridge. Rather a shame, the other aspects were good.
Waiting staff were friendly and efficient. Food was delicious. Great atmosphere. Menu has lots to choose from and the pre theatre dinner menu is really good value.
The set menu is good value and the food and service are excellent. My only small gripe is that the mains don’t come with veg and they are quite small portions without veg. It really bumps the price up having to order sides.

May Pre Theatre menu had excellent choice. We had Grilled Sardines & Charcuterie Board for starter, Sea Bream for main and then classic Creme Caramel & Iced Berries for dessert. The starter & main meal were cooked to perfection. The staff were efficient and friendly and service spot on.
Always love eating in Cote - consistently good although today the service was uncharacteristically surly and unfriendly. The food quality was, however, as good as ever.
