we had a lovely family meal out at Cote. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had pre theatre set menu which is fantastic value. We will definitely visit again.
Love Cote - Covent Garden. Always comes up trumps & the service is wonderfull as well. Would highly recommend for a pre-or post theatre place to eat
Good food, reasonably priced for such a central location, quick and friendly service and decent pre theatre offerings. Also very happy with the wine suggestion
Usual excellent value and always reliable steak frite. The score would be higher if the lighting were better - I could barely see what I was eating. My complaint on leaving was met with an inane comment that it was darker outside! I also have my doubts that the glass of wine I ordered had a full 175ml - it seemed pretty small.
Very busy and as a result service a little slow. Good value for money and staff doing their best ! Will try again at a less busy time
This is a busy but comfortable restaurant with quick and friendly service. The food was well flavoured and interesting, especially the excellent crème caramel. With a glass of good wine and coffee the pre-theatre 3-course menu is very good value.
The waiter was charming. and the table was lovely. Al the staff were great. We had a lovely meal as we always do at Cote.
Overall food was of great quality and service excellent. Delay to sit down as very busy desspite booking. If you want to eat on a Saturday evening before a theatre visit then book. A lot of people arriving who had not booked were disappointed.
Very good. Nice food & wine & good service. Pleasant place & staff. Nice interior & lighting. Fast service & plenty of room at the table
Lovely ambience, great service and really good food. Perfect pre-theatre meal before Mamma Mia. Will come back soon for another meal before a musical.
Ideal lunch stop prior to a guided tour of the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Travel delays meant we had to put our booking back 15 minutes: no problems and we had a pleasant table, with good service in a tight timescale. The two course deal was ideal, and the steak frites authentic and tasty, washed down with a glass of house white. Our fourth visit to a Cote this year, consistent value-for-money offer every time.
As always, the food is extremely good value at Cote and I come here regularly. The service was not as attentive as it was on Friday evening when I also came!
Great staff and new Spring pre-theatre menu! Great staff and new Spring pre-theatre menu! Great staff and new Spring pre-theatre menu! What more can I say?
Friendly service, good food, good price. What more can I say except it was all found in a convenient situation, close to the theatre that my party were going to.
Reasonably priced french fair in nice surroundings with good service even when very busy. Try the previous theatre menu excellent value for those on budget
Food and staff were excellent. No complaints whatsoever. Have been to different branches and the service and food is always great. I Would highly recommend.
An excellent meal with very friendly staff. The venue is well sited for London's theatre land a n eclectic pre and post theatre menu is available. Booking essential.
Always a good a reliable choice. Attentive service, good selection of alternatives in a French Bistro style from the menu, and excellent value for money. Another great lunch, thank you.
Fabulous meal at a great price. Very friendly, hard-working and courteous staff. No complaints whatsoever. Will definitely return. Thank you to all at Cote for looking after us so splendidly.
For the first time, we had a negative experience with regard to the onion soup that one of us had ordered. The cheese and the bread did not taste right. After eating the soup, my friend felt warm and nauseous. We did not know why but when he went to the lavatory, he threw up the soup. This means that his body rejected something that had gone bad. There must have been a bacteria in the soup or it was not prepared in a hygienic way. We complained to the manager. At first he did not believe that the soup was the problem, as it happened too soon after eating it but after my friend had thrown up, he realised that he was wrong. He talked to the chef and he solved the situation in a satisfactory manner. The soup and the main course that my friend had ordered were deducted from the bill and the coffee was on the house. We were pleased with the way the manager handled the matter, burwe hope that in future, the cooks and the chef will be more careful with the way they handle food and with hygiene . Yours sincerely Jean Marc Asso
Very well organised restaurant with friendly, efficient and helpful staff, particularly Johanna. Timing of food was good without any feeling of being rushed. Fixed price pre-theatre menu was varied. Good starter was let down by an underwhelming main, (haddock parmentier - there was no smoke flavour to the fish, cheese flavour was lacking, sauce watery and leeks undercooked). Desserts were better than main.
The restaurant was very busy with theatre goers but the service was excellent as was the food! We really enjoyed ourselves and will return again!
It was a very good experience, the food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly. Definitely a place to visit just not during the busy hrs because it is very loud.
The pre-theatre menu is of sound quality, though limited, and is good value. Service was excellent. As always in Cote the tables were uncomfortably close together. Some silly music, but not too loud.
Very good service, and good food. Only problem it was a bit noisy, but I guess there's not much can be done about that. We had a very pleasant time though.
We enjoyed our meal here. The quality of the food was excellent and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The restaurant is also situated in a convenient area close to all the theatre land attractions.
The welcome was warm and polite, the service was excellent and the food was of the usual high quality that we've come to expect from Côte.
We called in for a late lunch after attending a piano recital in Covent Garden, From the moment we entered the restaurant the service was exemplary, the lunch menu had a wide variety of dishes in fact so many it was hard to choose. The food was delicious and extremely well presented. I can highly recommend this branch of cote
Food was good, but tables were too close together. Service was we'll paced and we enjoyed the overall experience. A nice buzzy atmosphere. Friendly service
The food was delicious. The service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was buzzy. The staff were delightful. And it was great value. What more can you ask???
I always have a great experience at Cote, good food, good friendly service and reasonably priced. Why go anywhere else when this is so good.
Food was delicious and service was excellent. We went for brunch, they weren't busy so let us keep the table as long as we needed. Very happy.
DON'T CHANGE A THING. FOOD VERY TASTY AND GOOD CHOICE MENU. REASONABLY PRICED. STAFF VERY FRIENDLY AND ATTENTIVE. NICE BUZZ. REALLY ENJOYED OUR VISIT. WE CAME A LONG WAY FROM COLCHESTER IN ESSEX. PLEASE CONSIDER OPENING A BRANCH HERE............
Nice food, nice staff. Very enjoyable meal. This is the third visit and we have never been disappointed. Tried the pre-theatre menu and it was good value.
Always excellent service. Sometimes a bit loud with pre-theatre crowds. But worth it. Always advise booking due to popularity. always good value for money. Lesley
Excellent service, good food, great value for money, busy ambience helpful staff. The Cotes du Rhone and the sauvignon blanc were particularly good and it was very enjoyable. We will come again!
Very busy restaurant but the staff were extremely efficient and friendly. The food we had was excellent and good value for money. I would recommend this restaurant highly
The food was good, as always. We did have a trainee waitress who was a little confused about the order which meant we had to wait for the third starter to arrive. Other than that we had another enjoyable pre theatre supper.
We were in London to watch our son run in the 2017 London Marathon. He achieved a personal best of 3H36 and we celebrated with an excellent meal at Cote. Good food, served pleasantly - to be recommended.
High quality as always - good food and service. We are regular visitors to the Cote chain of restaurants and will, of course, visit again.
