Nice food, nice staff. Very enjoyable meal. This is the third visit and we have never been disappointed. Tried the pre-theatre menu and it was good value.

Excellent- we arrived 15 mins early but were accommodated. The champagne we ordered was not fully chilled so we were given two free glasses of bubbly. The food was good, hot and served with a smile. A good experience.

Very good pre theatre meal. Good service, decent food. Would go back. Now the rest is just to make the words up as there is not much more to say.

Food was very good. Service friendly and the complementary kir royale very welcome! Only hitch that happened was my friend and I were shown to separate tables.

A good meal served in the Covent Garden Cote, in time for us to get to the theatre on time! The Cote staff are always helpful and pleasant too!

The food at Cote chain is usually much better. I think the pre-theater rush got the best of the cook. The food was bland and under seasoned.

No nonsense French-style brasserie with good food & excellent service. The lunchtime special menu is excellent value & quality. Lovely egg Florentine to start, followed by an excellent minute steak, and then chilled summer berries with a white chocolate sauce. Yum yum !

My guest's egg Florentine was cold, the replacement was lukewarm at best. My main course of chicken and cous cous was also lukewarm. Service was fine and the manageress apologetic.

Excellent steak and chips as usual and friendly and efficient service in time for us to get to the theatre on time. We were given kir royals on the house despite the fact that my voucher was not applicable. Very kindly dealt with and appreciated. We will return.

The food and the staff were lovely but it was very noisy where we were sitting and as I have hearing in one ear I found it difficult to communicate with my friend at times.

Food and service really good. Accommodating after requesting a move from where the booked reservation had placed us to sit where no natural light came to table.

Fantastic staff. Smiling service despite the restaurant being full to bursting. Great food. Lovely set menu and a very diverse a la carte menu. 5 stars all round.

This is one of the most popular cote branches dealing with quick turnaround pre and post theatre guests. As such the service, although very professional and friendly can be a bit slow and not all dishes may turn up at once. That said it's averaged priced no frills good quality grub with a monthly seasonal specials menu.

The service was slow and extremely unprofessional. We waited almost 40 mins for our starters and had to ask three times for someone to look into it. The wait between courses was also very long and when we wanted to pay we were made to wait again. I understand they were busy upon arrival; however the restaurant was empty when we left and we were never told when seated to expect a wait on service. We spent the entire experience feeling unwanted and invisible.

Apart from the fact that I had booked (on line) for 6pm, it said 5:30 on the confirmation note, but that was corrected without probs in situ. Experience superior! Food delicious and served quickly by v friendly staff. I had three friends as my guests, they all want to know, if there is a Côte in their neck of the woods (Devon and Cambs). Good enough of a recommendation, I'd say!

Excellent prompt friendly service and nice food. What's not to like? It also fortifies one for the culture to come! Very reasonably priced too if using the pre theatre deal.

We are tourists from Taiwan. It's our first time to eat breakfast in London. They have great service, delicious food, and cheap price. It's very fantastic and let me very impressive.

We went for the pre theatre menu which is certainly excellent value for money. We were impressed by the wide variety of choice of starters and main courses on offer. We had pre booked a table because being Easter Saturday we knew the restaurant would be busy. However from the moment we arrived the service given by all the staff was excellent. Our waitress was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The food was delightful, I had the tuna rillettes with sour dough bread, my partner the pear and endive salad for starters, followed by the steak and the chicken breast for main course both of which were well presented and delicious. The wine we chose to accompany the meal was really good and very reasonably priced.

Superb service and attention to detail. Busy lunchtime period during the Easter weekend. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. Food was up to the usual Cote standard despite the number of people.Seriously recommend.

Unusually, the piquant chicken my guests ordered was dry ( we were offered free coffees as an apology) my seafood pasta was excellent and my general experience ,as a regular customer is of consistently high quality from Cote ,so I'm hoping this was a rare exception.

Food was nice and great value as usual but I do feel when I visit this branch that they rush you. We had just sat down and the waitress asked for our order, followed by another waiter asking for our order. Once we did order, it took ages for our drinks to arrive, followed very quickly by our starters. I can appreciate they have a lot of pre-theatre customers but maybe it might be good if they checked with you if you are rushing off to the theatre.

Pre-theatre dinner - food unfortunately not hot. Service was ok, albeit a little slow. You get what you pay for. Close to the west end theatres.

The fixed price three course menu is superb and excellent value, especially in Central London. Nice friendly service and the food came quickly, but not too quickly. Pre theatre it is an excellent choice. And if you are going to The Play That Went Wrong you will have an excellent evening.

Good food - wide choice on the lunch menu. And a free bottle of wine. Waiter was very cheerful. The place was busy and we had to wait quite a while for our main courses. Luckily we had plenty to talk about.

Very good value indeed. Ideal pre-theatre restaurant. But if you don't book ahead you will not get a table. Good selections of wines by the glass. Very lively, especially around 6:30pm.
