Very good value indeed. Ideal pre-theatre restaurant. But if you don't book ahead you will not get a table. Good selections of wines by the glass. Very lively, especially around 6:30pm.

Nice food, good service, buzzing atmosphere if at little noisy at peak times of lunch time service. The May special wine - Fleurie- was delightful.

A very good choice of food and excellent service. The need for gluten free options is well catered for and the pricing of the food is very reasonable.

The food is always delicious. Never disappointed. It was busy but not hectic for a Friday night and we even got to have a window table. A very enjoyable evening

Although the restaurant was packed the service was excellent. The atmosphere was lively but relaxed and all the staff very jolly. Highly recommend the cote de boeuf.

Absolutely joy the service: staff exceptional efficient and polite. And the food taste genuinely French. I recommend and just the best deal for the pre theatre meal.

Very quick and efficient, food was excellent, portion size just right. Although they were very busy and we were a little late due to our show over running the maitre d was polite and welcoming.

we went for a meal after going to a matinee on Saturday afternoon at the opera hpouse, knowing the restaurant would be busy we pre booked a tab. Despite the fact the restaurant was extremely busy, the waiting staff were extremely attentive, the food and service was up to the excellent standard I have come to expect at this branch of cote. The set menu is certainly excellent value, and offers something for everyone.

Both the waiter who took our orders and those that delivered to our table were extremely polite, friendly and efficient, together with the great quality of food the experience was made very enjoyable.

This has to be one of my favourite restaurants. I’ve only had perfect food and service. It’s always a joy to eat here and excellent value for money.

Handy location for Covent Garden and pre theatre at ROH

Booked for 6pm 16/9. Arrived on time, table not ready chaos at the door, people waiting to get in, and out. Staff having to push passed everyone. Went for a walk and arrived back at 6:15, waited again, table eventually ready. You need to sort the entrance / exit!

Service was rather slow and my food was not hot when it did arrive. I was in a bit of a hurry otherwise I would have sent it back.

Very convenient restaurant after an afternoon concert. Pretty good service on the whole. Nice food. Good value with the two or three course set menu.

Food was good you were very busy and so service was slow. The ladies' toilets were a disgrace! Vomit on the floor and seat of one cubicle, blocked loo in the other cubicle. I did inform a ( very busy) member of staff so don't know how quickly you were able to sort things out. So, these negative comments rather took the shine of the evening.

Absolutely wonderful service. Had the pre-theatre set meal and food arrived quickly. Staff were attentive. Great food, great stuff. If half bottles of wine were offered, I think a lot more people would order that.

Nice food, pleasant surroundings, attentive staff. We had set lunch before a theatre matinee, very good value. Would go again and recommend the set lunch menu.

A really good pre- theatre dinner for £12.50 for three courses. Excellent service from extremely friendly and helpful staff. What is there not to like!!!

Food delicious as usual, the set menu is really good value. The restaurant was extremely busy at lunchtime mainly due to theatre goers and we had to wait a long time for food, so not great if you were in a hurry. Staff were friendly and helpful

Set menu really good value. Staff were excellent . Would definitely recommend for any time of the day. Al la carte fairly extensive and also good value for money.

As reliable as ever for atmosphere, very good service and an excellent pre- theatre menu. We love Cote and appreciate the loyalty points, which are great when you dine at Cote as frequently as we do.

Usually impressed with everything at Cote but chicken very dry I should have said something but with a friend and chatting so did not think. Also ordered olives & bread which arrived at same time as starter so ended up not eating them - may be the lesson is don't go on a Sunday lunchtime!

It is amazing how they cope at such a busy time. Food was of good standard and service was generally good with a couple of minor errors.

Great atmosphere, eventually enjoyed good food after being offered three times starters that we hadn't ordered. Bread particularly good, waitress stressed but always tried her best.

We arrived about 45 mins early but we were shown to our table. We were greeted warmly by the staff and our food and drinks arrived reasonably promptly. Food was well presented and cooked. It was quick to pay the bill.

I have always experienced excellent food and service at this restaurant. Although I live in Somerset I never hesitate to book here to eat before a show.

We were going to a matinee performance at the Peacock Theatre in Holborn. So I booked a table at the Cote Tavistock Street, which is less than 5 minutes walk from the theatre. As always we received a really friendly welcome and were shown to our Table, On this occasion we chose the Set Lunch Menu the My friend had the golden Beetroot salad followed by the steak, and I had the mackerel rillettes followed by the chicken chasseur, The was delicious and beautifully presented, and the table service excellent. The set lunch/Pre theatre Menu is exceptional value for money, and there is always something on it to suit everyone.

Really enjoyed our pre theatre meal and great position round corner from Drury Lane theatre. Service a bit slow at times though and had to rush through dessert and coffees even though arrived early for booked table at 5.45.

We went to the Cote in Tavistock Street for breakfast as we had a meeting later that morning. I can only say how good the Cote Breakfast is. All the ingredients are of the best quality much as you would expect from Cote, the service exemplary, and excellent value as always. If you find yourself in London, or come to that anywhere near a branch of Cote, and need breakfast to set you up for the rest of the day I can highly recommend a visit to your local Cote.
