Côte - Covent Garden

We eat here regularly as we like it. We were welcomed and given a choice of pleasant tables. The food was as usual very good. My friend particularly loved the Breton Fish Stew. I stuck to my usual Steak Frites. Drinks, bread, olives and starters were at the usual high standard. We keep coming back and visiting other branches. In fact we already have 2 bookings for next weekend. That's a recommendation!

A wonderful experience, as usual. This restaurant always pulls out all the stops top get you out in time for your show. Very friendly, atttentive staff. The meals were excellent value too. We will be back.

Good food and atmosphere but service was a little slow and one of my guests did not get his full order i.e the sauce for his steak was missing and he had to ask for his butter. Otherwise an enjoyable meal.

Excellent and innovative pre-theatre menu - good value. The crab and avocado is delicious and it takes an accomplished chef to be able to cook a thin minute steak while leaving it rare inside. An enjoyable experience.

Convenient location for pre theatre supper and the usual high standard of food and service at a reasonable price which we've come to expect from all Cote brasseries.

Amazing pre restaurant food. Very good food, three courses for £14. There is nothing not to like. Very quick service but not rushed and gets you to the show on time.

Service was great and genuinely friendly - we were in a rush and the waiters were very attentive and accommodating. Food was yummy and sitting outside was lovely as the side street is busy enough to have a buzz yet quiet enough to feel intimate and not hassled. A great find in Covent Garden

Risotto horrible, not up to usual standard (I often order it at Cote). Very very noisy - but what else would you expect here, at this time. Otherwise OK!

The meal at lunch was good overall, except for the slowness of our mains to be served to us - others who came after us were served before us, and one of our fishcakes had a small fish bone in it.

Fiery busy for the pre theatre rush, but food very good and the service coped well under pressure. Would definitely go again - good atmosphere, good prices for West End

Good value,excellent food, but service becoming a problem as it is at other Cote branches,which is a result of so many customers at peak times (i.e. before West End shows)

Perfect place for pre theatre supper close to lots of theatres and a wonderful menu that changes monthly. Staff are fast, efficient and very friendly

Good French food, good value for money. Very nice staff. Can be very busy and noisy pre-theatre (they do a reasonably priced pre-theatre menu) but calms down afterwards. A little lacking in atmosphere, but it is a chain after all.

Very busy venue, food good but service a bit slow. Don't like service charge being automatically added to the bill, and a bit steep at 12.5%

We arrived early and were met by all the staff with smiles and friendly greetings. The service was excellent and our pre-theatre meal was delicious! Would definitely recommend.

At 6 pm the restaurant was very crowded and noisy. Good value for money for a pre theatre meal, but crowds made conversation difficult. Starters were better than the main courses.

Set menus is very good value for money, service is fast and the wine a reasonable price.the restaurant is very well situated for the dury lane theatre.

Service excellent even though very busy. Catered for our gluten free requirements with no fuss. Even have gluten free deserts which is rare! Thank you.

Tha staff were excellent, friendly and efficient, the food was superb and such good value with all fresh ingredients. A perfect start before seeing 42nd Street which I also highly recommend to go to - AB FAB all round!

Average. Too few staff and mediocre food. Worth going for the 13.95 pre theatre menu, but sadly overpriced at other times. Won't return anytime soon.

Arrived 15 mins early for our booking at 1pm, but seated straight away. orders taken promptly, food great. Cheeful staff, all in all a good experience.

Nice food & ok service, but had to wait a long time someone to come & take payment at the end which meant we were just sitting there for ages trying to catch someones attention!

Poor service and mediocre food. Big unreasonable delay in serving. Lacking attention to details. Great shame as we had VIP foreign visitor with us and it was embarrassing! So disappointed!

We had pre-theatre three course dinner which was first class and not overpriced. Staff very good. Restaurant was full but with a good atmosphere. Staff very helpful and curtious. One small thing : it wouldn't cost much for a little garnish with the main course...steak however with delicious.

We arrived earlier however the staff made the seats for us. Kind but our table is located behind food lift it means too noisy. Food is nice though.
