Côte - Covent Garden

It is always such a pleasure to return to Cote in Covent Garden. Our recent dining experience was superb. Though plenty of classic French fare is on offer, everything is presented with a fresh new take. The design concepts are impressive, the ingredient combinations enticing, and the flavors just delicious. As well, the waiters were smart, witty, interesting conversationalists, and wonderfully efficient. Always busy and bustling, the charming rooms permit a feeling of intimacy for two even amidst the buzz. Highly recommended for a great dinner out.

Had to send back dodgy mussels that were white not orange, but aside from that all ok. Service was speedy and welcoming. Food pretty tasty,

The wooden rail downstairs to the toilets needs replacing. Splinter in hand. Brilliant quick and friendly service ideal for pre- theatre. Cote’s french onion soup always good.

Could not fault the service or the meal. Our waiter was charming and very attentive and worked very hard to make it a very pleasant dinner. We will be back next week!

I arrived 10min before the time the table was booked for, and the staff was kind enough to find an available table for me. They were also accommodating to my request of moving to another table in a warmer area of the restaurant. Food was good as per Cote standards. However, our mains were served together with the starters. They were packed, with a long queue of people waiting, pre-theatre meal on Saturday night, so I think they rushed up the service a bit. I would have preferred a calm meal, which is why I chose Cote. But all good still.

Thank you for a fabulous evening. We were well looked after and the food was great! You even threw in a couple of free bottles of fizz for my birthday. We will definitely be coming back again!

Very quick and efficient service. The staff were very friendly. The food was great and excellent value for money. It is in a great location near Covent Garden.

Left after not being served for 10-15 minutes. Arrived at 12 - half the restaurant empty, but placed within area others still having breakfast. Egg smell and burnt smells. Not particularly appetising. Poor, won’t return.

Lovely food and very decent price. Can’t wait to go back and try different menu items. Good service times and nice members of staff. Happy to recommend.

We were sat in a window seat - a great place to people watch the bustle around Covent Garden. Great atmosphere and delicious food.

Great food, friendly helpful staff. We were heading to the theatre and didn't have long, but the food and drink came very quickly and tasted great!

Lovely atmosphere but felt as though they wanted us out our table was at 1245 we had the prestige menu and 2bottles of wine and drinks as well Overall the food was fabulous

Good friendly service. Quality food. Value for money. Always book all over the country as a result. Love French cuisine. Set menus are the best. Would suggest offering carafes of wine too! Half carafe would have done us, rather than a glass or having a whole bottle

Every time we come to London we always book this restuarant ( first class as always )

Nice meal and I was surprised with a chorus of Happy Birthday ... It was my 75th but I kept quiet about it!! Anyway it was lovely and we blamed family for leaking the news but it turns out it must have been Cote that realised it was my Big day. Nice touch and because of the celebrations we spoke to complete strangers on an adjoining table and ended up being invited to their Hotel in Italy!!! Thank you to all.

Excellent service, could not fault our young waiter. Overall the prices were good and the food enjoyable. The pear and endive salad was slightly lacking we felt in both pear and croutons. The salmon was perfect. The crepes grand marnier was cold by the time it was served as someone needed to find a lighter. A great pity. A wider selection of ice cream for dessert would also be a bonus. However, we would definitely book again when in London. The toilets down by the kitchen could do with a bit of TLC and it also meant that a fair volume of Anglo Saxon language, presumably from the chef, could be heard when descending and ascending the stairs. Gordon Ramsay has a lot to answer for!

Super evening, great food and service in really good atmosphere. We were going on a short holiday to France the following morning and the best French food we ate all week was in Covent garden- at Cote !!!!

Always very good , whenever in Theatre land i head for Cote . good value for money , good food , friendly staff - don't need anything else

Party of 8, food served together, hot, and delicious!! Service was great. We were seated at a great table. Thanks so much!! Definitely coming back! Only one small complaint is the cheese board selection is a bit bland and un-exciting.

Good well-cooked food, great service but expensive. Some of the dishes were disappointing in size - 3 small scallops for £10!

Lovely restaurant, the food was good, not great for vegetarians, service was a little slow, which would normally not be a problem, but going to a show after.

Fabulous place, with really nice staff. The food was truly wonderful, we couldn’t fault anything. I would honestly recommend eating at this restaurant if you enjoy eating good food at a nice restaurant.

Had a great birthday meal welcoming ambience staff were really attentive. Food was absolutely delicious as was the wine.

Lovely food and very attentive staff. Never had a bad meal at Cote. The set menu is good value if you don’t add veg. Otherwise, I think you’re better off going a la carte.

The service was second to none on our visit, food was delicious and really good value. We had a really enjoyable evening before our theatre performance. Perfect!

Very good experience at this restaurant with good food, fast and friendly service (we had to get to the opera) and very good value for money. Will certainly go back soon.

It was a fantastic experience. It was a little chilly in the area near the front windows. Next time we would be asked to sit further at the back. Other than that we had a great time.
