Overall a lovely meal with helpful staff. The meal was good value and drinks reasonable, A carafe of wine would have been a good option.

Good menu and service. Food well served and up to usual standard. Ambience pleasing. Altogether another enjoyable occasion. no more to add to this review.

An excellent overall experience. Very good food, good ambiance, prompt attention from pleasant front of house staff. And very good value for money from the set menu. I would recommend the experience to anyone.

It was excellent as always. Delicious food, very pleasant staff and very good value for money. Cote never lets you down and is just the place to spend a happy evening.

Wonderful food and great service in a relaxed and lively atmosphere. I can honestly say that I've always had an excellent dining experience at Cote and their restaurant in Esher certainly meets expectations.

Air conditioning didn't appear to be working in the half of the restaurant we were in. Front sliding doors were open but it was very hot. Food and service were excellent as usual but as it was so hot we left before pudding

Waitress changed off shift so lost continuity of service. However service and food were v good. It is my grandchildren's favourite straight restaurant and we will be back. Hoevet, still think the water glass thickness of glass is to thin as pn her last birthday visit pieces broke off into a 5 year old mouth

Each time I visit Cote in Esher, I am never disappointed. Food and service is always perfect, and I would recommend it to everyone. Give it a try.

There were six of us plus a one-year old dining early at 18.00 on a Saturday. The food was very tasty and well cooked and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The staff were friendly and were particularly good and helpful with our toddler.

The food was tasty, as always, and the service was friendly and efficient. The manager went out of her way to find us a quieter, more secluded table.

The set menu is always very good value and our meal, as always was excellent. The service was also very good and like the idea of filtered water put on the table as soon as you sit down.

Not very welcoming stood at the door for a while with no attention from staff. Staff didn't invite us to sit down and seemed put out that we wanted to sit outside or near to the opening of the restaurant. Server tried to take plate before we had finished.

A very pleasant greeting on arrival, and I reported my name, and booking details. Unfortunately, this was ruined by the Maitre d' or whoever she was, who literally stepped in front of the waitress as if she wasn't even there and asked me to repeat myself all over again, when in fact the waitress was more than adequate with dealing with the arrival of my party of 3. I felt it necessary to apologise to the waitress myself for her colleagues rudeness. One of my dining companions had ordered the special, which was a steak, but sadly we had to send it back as it was incredibly tough and sinewy. However, it was exchanged without any problem for a freshly cooked steak, and I personally loved every mouthful of my meal - starter, main and dessert. A great place to eat minus the attitude.

Excellent food. Good staff. Great value for money. Our friends who had never visited Cote previously, were most impressed and would definitely visit again. Well done Cote.

Good food, excellent service and value for money. We always have a great time dinig at Cote restaurants as they are so consistent.we would recommend them to family and friends.

Excellent evening. Staff as always were very attentive and helpful. On or two issues with the food but the were quickly and completely addressed. Going to go again very soon.

The experience was nothing to write home about. Food was okay. I had the cod goujons - tartare sauce was too creamy and not enough gherkins to sharpen it; peas weren't minty as suggested on the menu but not unpleasant. The table was too small to have all the extra dishes (bucket of fries and bowl of peas). I would have been quite happy for my fries to be served on my plate of fish. The waiter did not return to ask how everything was. He didn't even ask when he took away the plates! Cote is not a place we go to for the food. We come because the food is okay and it is convenient place to meet. There was nothing wrong as such but I probably wouldn't recommend it.

Great friendly service! Very attentive and nice ambience. Oh and the food was lovely and it didn't break the bank! I really rate Cote Esher.

Love the venue. Happy and helpful staff. Disappointed by the new June lunchtime menu as it is missing some of the great items offered in May so we had to revert to steak frites for lack of anything which "took our fancy".

The service is efficient and friendly and the food is delicious with a variety of seasonal options. However it can be very noisy which makes it difficult to chat.

As usual very attentive staff and management always enjoyable and prepared to go the extra mile to help. We have been going to Côte Esher since it open and by far is the best in the area compare to Kingston and Cobham Tasty food and drinks and again professional service the not so good employees never stays!!!!..... Carry on the good work

Yet again had a great meal at Cote in Esher. We tried the Steak au Poivre (on the June menu) and it was one of the best I have had for a while (and I have had a lot of steaks). Service was top notch as usual and my 93 year old Mum enjoyed it too.

Lovely food and fantastic service. The staff are always really friendly and I love the interiors, simple, French and crisp. I will definitely be going back to his one.

Excellent breakfast a baked beans option would be nice! Very good quality and great value as a formule option. Look forward to the next one.

Good as ever, the menu is great and the staff are friendly and attentive. You know exactly what you are going to get when you visit Cote and it is a formula that works very well.

the waitress was polite and laughed at my parents jokes. She was attentive and and food was great. It wasn't anyones fault that we were sitting next to some very noisy diners!!!

Food very nice, my husband and son shared the 'Special' Cote to Boeuf which they both said was wonderful, The waiting staff were very attentive and friendly. We shall certainly be returning soon.

We like this restaurant and will continue to eat there several times a year but on Saturday 27 May we were very disappointed. My asparagus hollandaise was acceptable but the sauce was not quite right. My grilled plaice was not fresh and was overcooked. My wife enjoyed her chicken liver pate from the standard menu but not her asparagus dish from the specials menu. The sauce was far too thin and undercooked and the ham/bacon wrapping for the asparagus hard and overcooked. As I say we shall continue coming because we have had good meals in the past but have concluded that the dishes on the specials menu are not as tried and tested as those on the standard menu and we will stick to the standard menu in future.

We were on a special offer which was quite frankly amazing. The food was as usual very very good. The sun came out and we were able to sit outside. Value for money excellent but add in the ambience and the quality of the food, why go anywhere else. Their formulae breakfast menu has to be the best value you can get.

Excellent service as always and great value for money. Asparagus in cheese, mustard sauce… very disappointing, sauce runny, lacked flavour of mustard, cheese & leeks.

Lively, relaxed feel today on bank holiday Monday. Some people having late breakfasts; others like us having a family lunch. Friendly and polite service as always and reliable quality food at a sensible price. Changing special menu each month means that there's always something new to try.

We just love it here. One of the best places locally for a good fillet steak :-) Always so reasonable & the service is always fab :-)

As ever friendly pleasant service and good honest food. I like the ambience of the Esher branch of Cote and the staff are the best I have come across especially when compared to the Cobham Cote.

Excellent staff, clearly well trained in customer service; excellent food, beautifully cooked and well presented; very nice ambience. Have been many times, Some local restaurants would do well to learn from them.

A friend and I meet up about every six weeks and always at Cote in Esher - why? Because Good food, great ambience....and as usual looked after so well by our lovely waitress Lindsey! Top marks! Ann
