Côte Esher

Nice environment, staff friendly and attentive, quality of set menu food disappointing on this occasion .... egg benedict sauce very gloopy, chicken main with mash potatoes sat in a bowl of thin watery sauce. Normally set menu is of good value and quality, maybe this was a off night?

I just can't get enough of this fab restaurant I'd have my breakfast lunch and dinner here if I could seven days a week. Bravo Cote

Lovely waitress unfortunately made a mistake with our food order for 5. We wanted to hold one order for a while, she thought we meant all the orders. When it came 55 mins after ordering, the duck confit was very dried out and 3 minute steaks were overdone. I think they had been prepared and then flash heated. First time for years there has been an issue with food. I ordered soda with lime, she brought tonic.

Friendly staff, good food. I went with my daughter (10) and she had mussels and the kids roast chicken and I had steak tartare and pork belly. Lots of flavour and good portion sizes (not too big or small). Would go again.

As ever the service, atmosphere, ingredients, presentation are all fab. Was just disappointed that the dark chocolate mousse was fluffy and milk chocolate rather than rampant cocoa.

Convenient location for us, nice ambience, tasty food, good sized portions and plenty of choice. Good service, too. The menu could be shorter but that's not really a problem.

Great service, lovely food and all for a great price. Great deal on starters and mains for lunch. Shame the beetroot was off the menu.

The meal was also delicious, we had steak and it was cooked perfectly. The customer services was awesome, the right amount of attention and the services very warm and genuine.

Brilliant service and good food. Always reliable, Cote blends classic French fare with modern twists. A wide ranging wine list - including several by-the-glass options - complements the eclectic menu. An excellent everyday restaurant.

As always good value, quality food and great service. Nice to have the option to sit outside on a sunny day. Creme caramel is a winner.

We had requested a GF menu and this was presented to us on arrival. Nearly all the dishes were GF which was lovely. The service was good , we had a good table and the meal was delicious in presentation and quality.

We had a warm welcome, delicious food and prompt service. The menu has seasonal favourites. The escalope de veau, pommes gratin and creme brûlée are especially good.

My wife and I had another great meal at Cote Esher, never had a bad one. friendly staff and a great location. Love the décor.

The food was excellent and the service good. The restaurant was rather noisy but as it was the school holidays, it was to be expected.

Great atmosphere lovely staff a thoroughly good evening the place was buzzing from early evening which was fun and the staff were very attentive as soon as we arrived which continued throughout the evening we will definitely visit again soon

Good menu and food on the whole. Service a little weak and non attentive. The pancake dessert I had had a great flavour but the pancake was stale. I should have said something, but was with friends and didn't want to disrupt the flow of conversation.

Really enjoyed our meal. Didn't have to wait for a table and the staff were very helpful and quick.

We go to Cote quite often, its out first choice for good food, nice service and a lovely atmosphere. Esher team is cracking always attentive and service champions in my view. Looked after when needed and left alone when wanted.

Excellent food and good attentative service. Value for money. Restaurant itself is nice and one of the better branches of cote I have been to.
