Côte Esher

There was a wait for our initial drinks order and we had to ask for water which normally is brought to the table immediately. However the food was very good.

We always get a warm welcome from the Staff at Esher. We have visited many Cote Restaurants in the area and Esher is by far the BEST! The food is consistantly good and the service second to none. The clientele are also pleasant and well behaved!!

It is always a pleasure to eat at Côte Brasserie - Esher. The food is excellent and of a high quality and the service is friendly and accommodating. My 92 year old mother loves going there and it makes the experience a pleasure to be welcomed so warmly and served with so much care.

Good choice on the menu, even for non-meat eaters. Nice atmosphere inside. Friendly staff, nice wines. Would go back again. Only down side is 12.5% service charge already added to the bill.

Waitress at work station (left of front door) ridiculing ,in a loud voice ,other diners discussions with her regarding their food selections . All other staff polite and courteous. Food quality very good. Steak rather heavily seasoned.

Outstanding service and the only thing that let the food down was the pork belly which I chose. I really didn't like the layer of fat which in another restaurant (not Cote) was much crispier and much nicer.

Booking for Friday lunchtime. Too many young ladies 'doing lunch' and all taking at the top of their voices so making conversation almost impossible. Food was also slow in arriving - but overcooked and over-garlicked in all four meals in our party. But the service from our regular waitress was excellent (within the limits mentioned).

We have been going to Esher Cote since it opened and liked the simplicity of the menu and consistency of the food preparation. Latterly we have felt the standard of food preparation has dropped in both presentation and taste. Service has remained excellent. Gerry Zander

We ate off of the set menu which has a great varied selection. All of the dishes we had we delicious. Service was spot on too. eould highly recommend it.

Excellent service & meal quality at this branch was to the standard as expected from other restaurants in this chain. Table Settings in the Esher location is not cramped or claustophobic. Has bi-folding doors so front opens up in warmer weathers with seating outside on roadside.

Easy booking made on line. Although 8 of us, nicely hidden table Food as usual was excellent and service r ally good. Will definitely be there again....

Always consistently good. Good service, good food and good atmosphere. Our local Cote is always good value for money. Staff are attentive and always remember us.

Lovely food and great service as always. You know what you get at Cotes, quality of food and service has been consistent for so many year. And they never raise an eyebrow at special dietary requirements or wishes, nothing ever seem to be a problem.

Lovely food ,good value and well cooked. We asked to move as there was a noisy group and this was done swiftly and with minimum fuss

Another fantastic breakfast at Cote! There were four of us dining, all wanting various different drinks and meals. Everything was perfect - food delicious and service excellent.

Waiting staff very good. Unfortunately the Duck was not, Manager said will speak with Chef but heard nothing back. Food usually very good so disappointing.

Food is always of good quality, produce is fresh and wine list responds to a good variety of tastes and well priced. Service can be too slow or inattentive, despite a 12.5% service charge that gets automatically added to the bill. The restaurant can get busy, on Saturday nights in particular, which makes it too noisy at times. We had to wait for 10 minutes to get some attention, then for our main course for over 35 minutes, had been initially seated in the far corner (despite availability of other tables) near the staff kitchen entrance door which squeaked extremely noisily, so had to ask to move (which the manager did without delay). On the whole, 6/6 for menu, quality of cooking and wine list, but only 2/6 for service.

A very pleasant lunch with good service and lovely good. I would recommend the salmon fishcakes and my cousins salad was very tasty. Many thanks.

Six friends had a very enjoyable evening in Cote Esher. Very friendly helpful staff and they give service with a smile. This is my favourite branch.

Cote is a Lovely restaurant! There is always a great menu with lots of choice and the food is fantastic. The service is always great too.

We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and had a very enjoyable time The service was very good and our young waitress was very pleasant. My wife very much enjoyed her scallop starter and her duck breast maim course I had a black pudding starter which I very much liked and the Breton fish stew which also was good Will definitely come back again

Good venue, good food and good service at a reasonable price. Pleased to see that "veal escalope" has been included in the "summer" menu - sorely missed in the winter!

Had a lovely family evening meal. Food excellent and service attentive and fast without being intrusive. Had to wait for one of the four starters (not sure why) but was compensated for this when the bill arrived. Great atmosphere.

The veal as always was perfect and the apple slices dessert was again very good. The staff are always very pleasant and full of smiles.

Great dinning experience with reasonably priced food and attentive friendly staff. We will be back. My husband says it the best creme caramel in the world.

Busy so service was slow food was good as always. I booked under an offer which was forgotten so had to chase that up. Still hate the121/2%'service charge

Great service , lovely meal . The resturant has a wonderful ambience and would recomend a visit if you havent been before . If you go midweek or early evening they have some great deals too !

We are regulars at Cote Esher and are always welcomed by all members of the staff and especially Cameron - the Manager who finds the time to speak to us. Waitresses Beatrice and Martina are especially friendly and provide excellent service in an efficient manner. Most of the staff have been at the Esher Branch for some time including the Chef and you can always depend on consistent delivery and quality of food. It's the best Cote in the area.
