Great waitress, she was helpful and charming, quick service, delicious tuna, always is. Easy website for booking and was accommodated earlier than booking. Overall, good place for lunch in Exeter.

We really enjoyed our evening out at Cote Brasserie especially so as my partner is Gluten and Dairy free, we was made to feel that nothing was too much trouble and catered for my partners intolerances very well. A really enjoyable night, thank you

Hadn’t found Cote until a few weeks ago. Now have been twice in as many weeks! Excellent service which wouldn’t be out of place in a 5 star Fitzrovia place. Lovely food at reasonable price. Easy to book, very welcoming.

Asked for a window table when booking online and were given one, and at a peak time on a very busy Saturday night, which was brilliant. Ordered the vegetarian pissaladiere but was given one with anchovies; luckily we noticed before taking a bite. Genuine mistake and swiftly rectified. Sausages a little over cooked if being totally honest. Overall a lovely experience as always, so thank you.

My favourite place for lunch or dinner. I love everything about Côte, the main thing is that it seems like being in France but I believe the menus are more imaginative and varied than anything I have ever had in France. It’s always good tasty food and I enjoy the pleasant atmosphere and helpful staff. I am a very loyal fan.

Very loud, slow and mussels weren't cooked properly. Rib eye tasted like a wetherspoons steak. Monkfish was overpowered by garlic. Not a good experience at all

I am a starch free diner for medical reasons which I made the restaurant aware of beforehand. Bread arrived with my starter and I was given no option of an alternative. We then waited an hour for our main course after our starter with no explanation. The food and atmosphere was really good when it arrived. It’s not the first time I’ve had issues with Cote delivering me food that has starch in it.

There were five of us in our group. We each had a starter and a main, but you'd never knew it if you'd seen our plates at the end. Delicious! Too good to leave anything behind. The view, atmosphere and staff were all brilliant. Can't wait to go again.

Welcoming and very friendly staff, quick & smooth food/drinks service. There was also no waiting time from arriving to then be seated (although we had booked).

Courteous staff, nice table by the window, overlooking the Cathedral. Fixed menu has small and delicious dishes with subtle flavours. Will definitely return!

We had the fish parmentier which we have had before but this time were disappointed. It was not as piping hot as usual and had too many prawns which were a little hard. If it had been our first visit to Cote, we wouldnt have come back but as this was the first time we were disappointed, we probably will return but wont have that dish again.

Excellent service and the food was lovely - both the pork, lamb and sea bass dishes were excellent.As ever the creme caramel was the star - worth the visit alone. Four very happy diners.

A very relaxed special evening, just two of us eating from the a la carte menu, the service and food was impeccable as usual for Cote.

Awesome staff, awesome food, awesome views (including my rather attractive wife) and awesome beer. Would definitely come back again. You guys would do well to remove all of the other starters and just leave the calamari on there because i was mega jealous of my wifes calamari. Great night for us overall. Cheers!

Good as usual, BUT, it is asparagus season in England, and we came specifically for the asparagus as it is on your menu! Well, no asparagus left at lunchtime today...VERY disappointed!

Excellent customer from start to finish . Waiting staff not intrusive and very helpful with menu recommendations. All staff very professional. Meals were hot and as stated on the menu . Could not fault anything. Highly recommend.

Lovely location , great food , fab staff and we loved the complimentary Rhubarb Martini Cocktail ! Always safe for coeliacs like myself to eat at Côte x Minor point .... white wine barely chilled . I work in hospitality myself and always aim to have chilled champagne or white wine .

Love Cote...Meal was great - v generous portions too! Buzzy atmosphere. Waiters v attentive, friendly and helpful. Only thing I object to with Cote is that they automatically add 12.5% service charge on to the bill. This is very unfair and unnecessary...I would like to decide how much to offer and how to pay it. I sometimes ask for the charge to be taken off and then pay cash to the waiter, but this is a faff and I shouldn't have to do it...

Yet another splendid experience, and after booking in advance all our expectations were met, even to making sure we had a window set upstairs, as requested.

We discovered the Exeter Cote a few days soon after it opened and we have been fans ever since. Starting with the team, they are always warm, welcoming but extremely efficient. And the food is first class too, with plenty of choice and the menu changing often enough. Stay as perfect as you are.

Superb lunch, food was delicious served with a glass of your favourite tipple life couldn’t be better, fabulous atmosphere, great staff, what more could you want.

We are never disappointed when we dine at Cote. The menu caters for everyone, the food never disappoints, the service is friendly & efficient, there’s a great atmosphere and it’s well priced. Thanks for another lovely family meal.

Food was delicious, great service. The acoustics are not great! Very noisy in the restaurant and staff bashing around on the coffee machine a lot.

The food was superb. We had the Chateaubriand. Expensive but the quality of it lived up to the price. Deserts were giod and the waiters were very attentive.

Service was very slow, drinks order was forgotten and had to be chased up. Each step had to be chased. We had to ask for the dessert menu then again chase for the bill Too slow, we were not in a hurry but the service was bad The food was good

Good service, tasty food and a pleasant laid back atmosphere, booked a table online so we received free Blood Orange Martini's which were very much enjoyed.

The food was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked, great choice of wine and very attentive and professional service from every member of the team - we will be back soon.
