Usually we have an excellent experience at Cote Farnham. Today was good. But we had to wait an unusually long time for the mains. We will return though.

Great food, great menu to choose from, friendly and caring service. Farnham's Cote has a good restaurant space and a great outside patio for eating out when the weather is warmer.

We had lamb rump and it was cooked to perfection. Gin aperitifs were a pleasant start to the meal and the wine was a really good accompaniment.

Always excellent. Best place to eat in Farnham. The Prawn Gratin as a starter is excellent. I had the Duck today which was also good. And, of course, the crème caramel is 'to die for'. Waitresses and manager always ultra helpful and pleasant. Only possible downside is that it can get a bit noisy when full - particularly at lunch time when the 'yummy mummies' bring their off-spring. But I guess that's the price you pay when you are this good/good value.

We come often and always very pleased with the food and service but unfortunately today was terrible! The food was poor and the service useless. It was obvious they were grossly understaffed for a Saturday lunchtime!

I come to Cote Farnham a lot with my partner for romantic dinners, Mother’s day brunches and lunch with friends. Today was a belated mother’s day brunch- for the first time we encountered a minor snag which was promptly dealt with and the manager excelled himself with exceptional generosity when I asked for the bill which he insisted on paying! I love Cote and will continue to highly recommend.

The food as ever was excellent, but our visit was made special by the superb service. My wife used to work as a Mystery Shopper and her words were 'They'd have earned 10 out of 10 today', and that doesn't happen very often.

We booked for four people and a pushchair we tried to add on another person two days before we were told they were fully booked and we’re try and shuffle around tables to see if they can add on another person we received no follow up call and when we called in the morning to check was told fully booked and they couldn’t add on another person which is fine considering it’s mother’s day however when we arrived there were several free tables for four to six people that were not used thought out the duration this was very disappointing considering we were told there was no extra space

As a family we really love this Côte. It is always well run and the food good. Mother’s Day brunch was up to it’s usual high standard

Fabulous meal. Helpful friendly staff good value. The atmosphere was lovely and the recipes were very inventive. We all enjoyed our evening very much. 25 words !!

Overall good but an accumulation of niggles spoilt the score -No sea bass, no peas! Steak had to be returned for more cooking. Complimentary drinks included on Bill, (subsequently deleted).

Parents originally chose table right opposite kitchen (was a bit noisy) but our server was happy to move us to a quieter table. The food all tasted amazing and the wine was just lovely. Clearly, a very well managed restaurant.

The usual excellent food and good service. The complimentary cocktail was very pleasant. I would have preferred the moule in a white wine sauce as the cider based sauce was not as enjoyable. The filet and rib eye steaks were very good

Lovely lunch on a Friday. The restaurant was packed with ladies who lunch! Lovely service and great food and prices too. Our waitress was lovely and we were made to feel welcome from start to finish.

Had a lovely evening for my birthday meal with my family. Jenny served us and was wonderful all night. Food was great and everyone enjoyed the evening

Generally have a good meal here, a bit disappointed today, sour dough was toasted but cold and very hard. salad nicoise portion seemed to be lacking in salad yet dripping in dressing.

Always great food at Cote, but I expect to get a drink before my food arrives. Surely a dining out experience, even brunch, should be a relaxed event? I don’t understand why the restaurant is managed this way.

Had a lovely two course set lunch. We were asked if we wouldn't mind moving tables near the end, to accommodate a larger party. We were given a free coffee for obliging. All very good service as always.

Cote Farnham is my favourite restaurant, the choice of menus is excellent, the food and presentation is always good too. The staff and general ambience of the restaurant is excellent.

We quite often go to the Cote and it never lets us down. The food is excellent and the staff are superb. Well worth a visit.
