Had same menu in Edinburgh branch recently and it tasted better Onion soup and peppercorn sauce both very dark brown perhaps too much artificial colouring added. Never experienced dark brown peppercorn sauce before The steak not as tasty as before

It was a Saturday night, so we had booked, and were seated within a few minutes of arrival. Service was prompt and efficient without being intrusive. Food excellent and we had some good wine too. We were glad we'd only been able to book for 8.30. Had we been earlier I felt there might have been pressure to eat up and free the table.

Have enjoyed a few visits to Côte Brasserie and food has always been good. Tonight’s food was also delicious although service could have been a bit quicker and had to wait some time for water to be brought to table from downstairs as explained by waiter. Unfortunately the ladies toilets were in a disgraceful state with only one toilet out of three actually useable. This was reported to staff member on leaving restaurant. Not acceptable as these should be checked regularly.

Fabulous choice of food cooked to perfection, friendly attentive staff but unfortunately the noise from the other diners spoiled what we had hoped would be a relaxing experience. Sadly this is something the staff can do little about, but I thought it was worth mentioning as it unfortunately did spoil our Cote experience

Fantastic meal and great service - very efficient and friendly and were made to feel very welcome ...even 'at home. Arrived about an hour early and still got the table we wanted. Food, drinks and wine were delicious and all at a very reasonable price. Will definitely recommend and will definitely be back....

Have eaten in Cote on a few occasions and each time have enjoyed the experience as have my companions. I have coeliac disease and need to be gluten free and they cater extremely well for my diet.

An ideal culinary experience. Balance of elegance with informality Temperature of restaurant ideal and design features providing a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere Staff attentive and efficient Customers given adequate time to choose from the extensive menu and time between courses just right. Very impressed by vegetarian/vegan menu provided for member of party and guidance given on request on vegan cheese content . This was our second visit to Côte during our stay in Glasgow. Food and service once again excellent, as was the choice of wines. The restaurant was extremely busy but staff were coping with this well. However we are glad we booked and would advise others to do the same, especially on Saturday evening. My only slight criticism is that the restaurant became a bit too warm and so the ventilation could be improved. Otherwise excellent.

Lovely meal, attentive staff and gluten free menu brought without being asked for. Only downside was ran out of gluten free bread so cheese board was given without bread, (it was then taken off the bill)

Lovely meal. Our waitress Graciella is wonderful, and keeps us coming back. Such personal service and kindness! Its a great experience and really does remind me of a Paris Bistro. Except that the service is so much more positive than Paris.

Great meal , ambience of the restaurant was lovely. Staff were fantastic couldn't have been more helpful. I am a wheelchair user and they helped me in making it very easy. I also appreciated having a table in the centre of the restaurant. Normally I am hidden away in a corner. 10 out of 10.

Very attentive, good food and atmosphere. We have visited a number of Cotes restaurants around the country and they are consistently good. Well worth considering if you have the chance.

This is a tremendous restaurant. We had the Valentines 3 course meal with paired wines. Delicious food and great wines. Staff are lovely and very attentive without being intrusive. Noise level was as you would expect in a busy establishment but plenty of space between tables so no feeling of eavesdropping or being listened to. 😊

We always enjoy Cote, especially the service and the Merlot. The set menus give plenty of choice even for vegetarians. Our favourite place on the city centre

Good venue, good wine and service but, for the money, the mussels and steaks were a bit disappointing.. A fair bit short of a satisfying lunch.

I love Cote and have clocked up at least a dozen visits over the last year or so. The food is consistently excellent, the ambiance is always spot on, the staff attentive without being intrusive. Last night's visit was no exception, our waitress, a lovely Spanish girl, who was just delightful and a tremendous ambassador for your brand.

Good points: Some of the food was good: The olive and bread appetisers, the pan roast haddock, the duck, the creme caramel and the lemon tart. The drinks were all very good - sparkling white wine and alcohol free beers Bad points: The service was very slow, with us frequently having to seek out waiting staff ask for drinks, order food and ask for dishes to be cleared from the table - if we had the choice, we would not have left a £15 tip. Some of the food was poor - the mussels provencale had an unpleasant flavour. The restaurant was very dark.

Love the place. Meal very good. Big portions. Only criticism I have is that you don't get free bread on the table on arrival. It is deeply un-French, it wouldn't cost a lot and would be a lovely touch. Apart from that, love the place.

As always, the food and atmosphere was absolutely great. The service was fantastic, particularly as there was small mix up with the starters order, but this was very quickly remedied with no fuss and to our delight we were offered the spare starter as a sharing plate in the middle - excellent customer service.
