Excellent food and service, but the only minus...the music was far too loud.

We like eating here and have high expectations based on past experience. Today's was very good rather tha excellent. Service is always excellent. One of us was handed a very hot plate without warning and almost dropped it. We never like the expectation of a 12% tip, preferring to use our discretion. We still give what we want of course, but resent seeing 12% included on the bill in bold. Some food rather bland and ordinary today. Creme caramel delicious.

Hi Ticks most of the boxes, lunch with friends they were very impressed with the food and the service. the staff are exceptionally nice/ good at what they do. will return again and again Linda

Easy booking, pleasant and attentive service with excellent well priced food. Highly recommended.

One starter forgotten about but bread basket given i apology for delay. PLEASE, PLEASE sort out your Calamari.I have had to tell several friends to avoid as far too heavily battered. Overall deserves 4/5.Calamari sorted and it would be 5/5.

LOVELY LUNCH SPOILED Three of us enjoyed a tasty lunch at a reasonable price , and in most pleasant surroundings. However, not being aware that 12.5% was already added to our bill, we then added a further 10%. Shame on the staff for retaining the lot , without pointing this out . Spoiled the experience ! Great food, great service and great value for money. My favourite place to go to when visiting Glasgow.

Booking was easy. Menus was interesting and could cater for a wide renge of tastes. Service friendly, professional excellent. Food excellent and pricing was in line with what one would except from the menu.

Excellent menu and choice of wine. We were very impressed by the professionalism of the staff. The ambience was good, including the light background jazz. Would highly recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The menu gave a good choice of French fish, meat and vegetarian dishes. We didn’t have a dessert but I wished I’d had room for a creme caramel! The food was of good quality and tasted delicious. The service was friendly and efficient and we weren’t rushed. Will definitely be back!

We were waited upon by 4 different people (sometimes felt rudely interrupted) nd one young waiter was particularly dour; she struggled to communicate effectively. My request to have vegetables instead of chips seemed too problematic. I ended up with a main with chips and large leafed watercress! Not a great dining experience.

Third meal at this chain fast becoming our favourite place, the icing on the cake was they charged my phone for me so that l could take pictures of Michael Bublé; can’t say better than that!! Thank you to all the wonderful staff.

We so enjoyed the evening. Superb food and a wide range of choices, beautifully presented with real style. Excellent attentive service and perfect ambience. Classy sassy and a must go to.

One tiny thought. Would it be possible to serve small pieces of tablet or tiny cookies with the coffees? Otherwise lunch today was excellent and my Canadian visitors thoroughly enjoyed it.

Staff attentive without being intrusive. We ordered from the Prestige Menu £18.95 for 3 courses. Everything was delicious, however my friend’s main course had to be returned to the kitchen as it was not warm enough. The manager came straight to the table and apologised for this . Replacement came very quickly, excellent service! Lovely relaxed atmosphere and very good value for money.

Arrived early our booking but was shown to a table straight away with no fuss. Waitress was charming and helpful. As always food was top class. Had a lovely meal thank you.

No matter the location, the consistency of food, the standard of service and the vibe is one to be envied by other nationals! Cote does local so good, I can’t wait to try again. I have visited this restaurant twice and on both occasions the food was lovely and the pre theatre menu is very reasonable. However, the service each time was very slow and this would put me off returning.

One of my favourites and i took a friend along for her first dining experience at cote. She loved it and already talking about going back.

We had a fantastic meal at Cote in Glasgow for my wife's birthday. Delicious food, attentive and friendly service and even complimentary bubbly to mark the special occasion. It could not have been a better dining experience.

Again l had a very enjoyable meal with friends at Côte. The food was excellent and staff attentive, l am looking forward to my next visit.

Delicious food served by attentive, professional,charming staff. Gorgeous crab starter and duck breast was the most tender I have ever had. I am so glad I left room for the delicious desserts too.

Lovely food. Good service and good value. And they can accommodate my gluten free diet without any fuss it bother which is perfect as I’m coeliac. What more could anyone want?

Lovely food. Good value. Professional staff. I have not given six stars as I felt somewhat hurried to finish each course with the next coming virtually straight away. This may well have been because it was Valentine’s night as I haven’t encountered this previously in other Côte restaurants. I also felt “extras” were being pushed albeit gently. Overall I had a lovely time and thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

As always a very pleasant dining experience. I am never disappointed.

Overall a very good dining experience. A couple of minor mistakes that were easily and efficiently rectified. All staff a delight to be welcomed and served by. Ambient noise levels did increase but it was a busy Saturday evening, I feel the patrons were talking over each and at each other without consideration of anyone else dining. That's just my interesting point of view. Thank you.

The food was lovely, the waitress was excellent and the atmosphere great, so why not full marks. To be honest I don’t Like the 12.5% service charge automatically being added to your bill albeit you have an option to remove or reduce it. I always think the customer should decide the service charge.

We love the restaurant. One of the best in town. A chain restaurant, but with unique food, atmosphere and service Great choice of friends of and wine. Some people complain about the 12.5% gratuity almost imposed in the bill, but it is worth for the experience. We usually go back to the restaurant twice a month.

Recommend set lunch menu. Food and service good. Coffee disappointing. Prefer not to have gratuity imposed, as we always leave one anyway, and probably would not return because of this.

The food didn’t live up to the standards of the Cotes I’ve been to in London. Some dishes e.g the calamari were served luke warm. The potato piped on my fish pie was so thin the sauce was all dried up. It was all a bit lack lustre and if this had been the first time I’d visited a Cote I wouldn’t be going back

delicious as always, especially the duck and Breton fish stew. *drools* Staff super friendly. No wonder we keep coming back again and AGAIN!!! (Service charge is annoying but we wouldn’t tip anyway)

I'm a regular at Cote, but seldom in Glasgow. Early dinner today was usual high standard, and service was exceptional. Our server was called Maria, and she combined three things really well. She was attentive, low key and funny, all in the right proportions. Thanks, a great meal overall.

Excellent dining experience for that special occasion. Lovely food, great choice of drinks and a convivial atmosphere. You pay a little more but it's more than worth it compared with the usual mediocre establishments.
