Again a good evening at Cote. Food excellent as was service.

The reason I’m a regular user of many of the Cote Restaurants is not only the excellent food but the staff. We always get served in a very professional way but what makes all the difference is the smiles that are an indication that they enjoy their work. Excellent staff friendly, efficient all with a smile.

Lovely Birthday lunch complimentary wine and Kia royals. Served by a delightful lady (the others were lovely too). Only complaint the restaurant was full of ladies who lunch with babies! But a minor issue I tried to ignore!!

Great evening celebrating my wife’s birthday, food was prompt and very tasty as always Staff were great and very a tentative Thank you again Adrian & Sherryn

Delicious food and pretty quick service, even though restaurant was full for the two hours we had lunch. Inevitably noisy with lots of families for Mother's Day, but that didn't spoil excellent price for a two course lunch.

Great food and decent service as usual - best place in Godalming

5 stars out of 6, only because things can always be improved, however, things are always so good, I'm not sure how/where. I've been to many Cotes around the UK and they've always been great. A restaurant that is part of a chain, but doesn't feel like one.

Lovely meal and good service Only criticism is the complimentary cocktails were charged on our bill! This has happened a couple of times at this restaurant and I am not sure why ? It was rectified but means I am now a bit suspicious of the reasoning for this happening to us more than three times

I love all of Cote restaurants but Godalming is particularly lovely. The staff are always so welcoming, helpful & friendly. Amazing food, service & Blanc de Blanc as always!

Good food and great starter and main in particular, but slightly disappointing desert. Service was good overall, but took an ahe to get the bill and we finally gave up and went to the front desk. Explained why we were there but no apology for poor service - could definitely do better.

Fabulous breakfast outside in the peace and quiet on a Sunday morning. Food delicious and service excellent.

Overall a very pleasant experience allowing for the fact that it was a very busy Sunday. However, we ordered and shortly later our welcome drink (Kir Royal), the red wine we had ordered and our first course arrived all together. It would have been pleasant to have had a little time to enjoy our Kir. The main course was well presented but the duck breast was somewhat chewy. Otherwise the meal was very pleasant and we enjoyed ourselves.

Brilliant service. A complimentary drink and flowers for my wife who was celebrating her 40th birthday was really cool and unexpected. Thank you for making it such are great night.

Always great & attentive service and a vast menu to choose from. Delicious, freshly prepared yummy food. The two courses for £11.50 is exceptional value. Will be back!

Usual xcellent service combined with nicely varied menu. Wine list offers good variety at reasonable prices. Nothing further to add so this is because the web site wanted more words. Mark Cote down @point for that.

We booked online last minute and were warmly welcomed in to the restaurant. Service was extremely friendly and pleasant without being over powering. We enjoyed the two course special which was well paced and my steak (with £supliment) was superb. Thanks we had a great evening! My only observation would be that wine by the glass is a little expensive at over £8.5 for 250mls. Maybe a carafe would help us eek it out or perhaps offer some cheaper options?

There were only 2 people serving which meant we had to wait for ages before I asked for someone to come over. The steak was not cooked pink as described, so not a very enjoyable experience.

Great restaurant with great staff and thought the gesture of a free glass of fizz for one of the party’s birthday was great. The food was lovely and overall a fantastic experience.Thank you to all!

Enjoyed an excellent value for money Mother's Day meal at Cote Godalming yesterday. The food was well prepared and delicious with friendly service from the staff. Noise level acceptable bearing in mind the day is a family occasion.

Excellent venue, warm welcome,very well looked after by a very nice waitress. Good food, starter and main course,and a very nice kia royale. We will be back again

Food was tasty and service was prompt although not as friendly as it could have been and it was a quiet evening. What we came away thinking was check your bill carefully as they had already applied a 12.5% service charge which we didn't notice until arriving home (yes totally our mistake). We had left them a 10% tip in cash; so they profitted well!. We wete very surprised to find a charge added already to the bill. Appreciate that can occur when larger group but there were only 3 of us. Spoilt a good evening - sadly. Never left a negative review before for anywhere.

not often I leave a review for somewhere I Dine, But here the food was excellent. The service was spot on.....could not have asked for more. Whats more, they had taken the time to actually read my reservation and gave us a table that fitted my requirements... lovely evening all round, and this is the second time I have eaten here recently....and it was just as good first time.

Cote Godalming. Visited for dinner a deux o Friday night. This is our local restaurant and is consistently excellent. Tried their March offer of gin and tonic and it was absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend.

The food was fine but a lot of the food lacked flavour, more seasonings as in herbs, salt and pepper needs to be added. Service was good but it would have been nice if our waiter had smiled even once as although pleasant enough he never smiled.

Although the food itself was delicious ! It was odd the my main meal came out complete but my partners didn’t, by the time his meal was fully delivered to the table his steak and sauce was cold, so had to be reheated , this took a bit of time, so I waited as didn’t want to eat my meal with out him eating his, so when his came out reheated mine was nearly cold, but I ate it as didn’t want to make a fuss, they did take 2 drinks off the menu. , which was. Kind of them. Our only complaint was in future, Maybe keep all food hot before delivering complete meals to table, we will return as still very good food and service x

Our first visit to Côte Godalming certainly won't be our last. Cannot fault them. They even rang us back after realising they had over charged us by 22p! Recommend them.

Lovely lunch with friends. We each had a rhubarb martini on the house before steak frit then crepes - all delicious served by very friendly staff. Pamela

Lunch, two and three course menus very good value and interesting, tasty food. Restaurant full today and a bit noisy but a very good atmosphere and good service.

Good food, nice ambiance and service. You get exactly what you expect from this Brand. Worth revisiting and look forward to join them on the terrace this summer.

We meet up with friends at this Cote because it has ample room, a varied menu and is good value. Unlike many chain restaurants the menu changes.

Food was tasty, though steak was a little chewy. Waiter (Andre) couldn’t have been any more helpful Went for set menu - good choice of food & reasonably priced

It is always a pleasure going to Godalming Côte. The staff are all friendly and polite. The food is very good and great value. We’ll be back.

The food was lovely. But we had the wrong drinks given to us. My chips were dropped on the floor . Also one of our puddings was wrong and at the end the restaurant tried to charge us for two puddings on top of the charge for two fixed menus (which included a main & pudding). All in all it was a disappointing experience.

As usual, excellent attentive but patient service. Always give us time to enjoy every delicious course. Loved the cocktail. Good value for money. ‘Pate’ starter very generous, fish perfect and how could I not finish without the chocolate pot-excellent consistency.

Very nice evening, pleasant waiting staff. unfortunatly the manageress smelt of tobacco. Something green (rocket) on the plate of steak frittes would look better.

Excellent as always. Cote Godalming is a fantastic restaurant to go to. The food is beautifully cooked & presented. The staff are of a high standard. I wish other restaurant chains would take a lesson from Cote. We go there regularly & are never disappointed. It helps that the manager sets & maintains such high standards.

Service superb. Food outstanding. Attractive Décor. Only negative -the April Welcome Cocktail had far too much sugar syrup. The sweetness completely overpowered the gin flavour and the zestiness of the lemon.

Well cooked and flavoured. Plates were hot, as was food. Serbice efficient, and friendly. As a chain restaurant should be, but most fail.

Went to Côte for the first time , it was really lovely , will make this a regular place for me to eat now. Great welcome when we arrived for mother’s day , not noisy , food wine service was all great.would highly recommend this restaurant, it’s in great location , I had a very lovely experience Thankyou everyone.
