Good, but the asparagus starter had far too much tough stringy stalk left on which was inedible. The waitress was very pleasant and new my wife

Excellent value fixed price menu. Plenty of choice and its on the web site so one can check in advance. We eat it at least twice a month. Service sometimes slightly chaotic but always polite and well meaning. Breakfasts are good too.

Great value. Food good. Decent service. A few missing menu items is the reason for the lower mark. Recommended and will go back another time.

Very slow service (had to wait for meals more than 30 min. with hungry kids). Food is so so and rather diasppointing. Won't come back.

we had to ask for the vege tarian menu, but other than that it was v nice and enjoy able, food nice and waiting staff v helpful

I love to going to Cote, it does not matter which restaurant you choose, the cooking is consistently good, the service is attentive without being either overwhelming or neglectful, the prices are reasonable and I have never had a poor meal. Therefore I find this my restaurant of choice when meeting friends especially during weekdays. The pre -theatre menu is also attractive and the weekly specials add variety to an already varied menu.

Lovely brunch ! Attentive service They were able to provide small portions for the children. All components on plates fresh and tasty. I only deducted one point as I thought my daughter would get a small piece of salmon as we ordered her smoked salmon and scrambled eggs but the scrambled eggs good size and I ended up giving her a small piece of mine! I would say standards are consistent as we have been several times.

Delicious breakfast. Even the veggie option didn't disappoint. Service was very friendly and efficient. I would not have thought of visiting Cote for breakfast but it was excellent.

Always enjoy going to Cote Hampstead. The food is always good and the service each we go is great We usually buy the glass as a bottle can be on the expensive side Cannot resist the deserts

The food was very good but the service was very slow. We waited almost an hour between our starter and main course. The manageress was very surprised to hear that and knocked off the price of the drinks from the bill as compensation. All in all a very pleasant evening.

Staff were very efficient especially the manager who was helpful in arranging birthday drinks transferred from Barbacan to Hampstead. Only criticism was that we were sitting too near to the kitchen so it was very warm in the restaurant

Nice restaurant, good location and friendly service. Food was of average quality. Set menu portions were very small. With a lot of competition from other chains would probably not put Cote top of the list.

Staff very pleasant, especially our waitress, and food was good as usual. Buzzing atmosphere but not noisy. Had complimentary kir royales for my birthday which made our visit even better.

I found cote Hampstead very noisy. Service while pleasant was very slow . The food when it came was very tasty and well presented. Some thought needs be given reducing the level of noise so that you can hear people talking to you

Always a pleasure to eat at Cote . The food is consistently good and the staff in Hampstead friendly and helpful . We met friends and had a very enjoyable evening .

A very pleasant evening with good food (pork belly, steak frites, roast sea bass) and excellent house wine, kicked off with a kir royale. The service was not always swift but but it was always charming. Thank you Cote.

Excellent service; delicious food; good value but rather noisy ambiance. Staff are pleasant, hard-working and attentive and the menu is frequently changed so that regulars can always find something new to try.

Have eaten many times before - the main courses we poor and dry - and chips were cold. The service very disinterested . Will not return

Consistently good food and helpful staff . I discovered I had booked for 8am instead of 20.00 !! Despite that the Mangeress immediately found us a table despite the fact the restaurant was very busy .

We love going to Cote restaurants. We appreciate the excellent service and very creative dishes that make your mouth water. The staff at Hampstead are very courteous.

Have eaten at cote many times in the past few years, it is one of our favourite restaurants. I tend to have the steak frites with pepper sauce on a regular basis. This is the first time I have been disappointed. The jug with the sauce was almost empty when served and when I showed it to the waiter he agreed and eventually bought another which was too little too late. This I think to the e trembly slow service. The apple tart which I had for dessert was also not up to the usual Cote standard. Overall my first disappointing experience at Cote.

As always, we felt very welcome, we both had a delicious meal and we received great service, it was a fun evening, thank you very much.

Never disappointed, quality food, large gluten-free selection, friendly and attentive staff (from beginning to end), fast service. It is combining the advantage of a chain (you know what you get on your plate, the menu is quite standard and does not evolve much, but you get the same quality every time and there is a real effort in suggesting French "classics" like Boeuf Bourguignon, Steak Tartare, Creme Brulee... which are all good). The only improvement point is less staff turnover which would create this local restaurant feel...

Very good, except for a long wait in the lobby before anyone came to show us to our table. Also, we topped up our own glasses, rather than any one offering to do it for us - hardly a great problem, but nevertheless both matters were symptoms of understaffing.

Nice food and ambience. Really enjoyed the evening. Went on a Tuesday evening and it was busy and buzzing but still service was good, but not hurried.

Best value in Hampstead. Great staff. Always high standard especially the early 2 course menu. Considering it is now a large chain they have managed to remain at a great level.

On this occasion the service - which is usually particularly slick - was not. The food was fine. Not their finest moment though, and it wasn't clear why.

First time eating here and we will definitely be going back. The manager and his staff couldn't be any more polite and attentive. The food was lovely. It got quite busy so would advise to book. I can understand why it was busy, lovely ambiance and setting. A throughly enjoyable experience!

Great service and food, and a nice ambience. All the usual favourites on the menu, and a few extra besides: a great way to spend Sunday lunch!

Overall the meal was good, but my husband's starter was missing the poached egg and neither the chef nor the waiter noticed until we queried it. Once we'd done so it was quickly corrected. The steaks were well cooked, and I think this is what Cote does best. As a chain restaurant it is better than most and good value for money.

It was great! Waiters very professional and food adequate to the price. Had a nice complimentary red wine. Dessert was outstanding! Had a lovely evening.

They gave me a great service. I asked a specific request of a table and they did it. Over all it was a great dinner and experience. One thing was they did not ask me about the deserts request I should have talked to them. Then when I asked the bill, they came back and said happy birthday and told us they deducted the desert for her which I think they could have done better.

Very poor service. The food was cheap. One of us took the asparagus on the menu which was a demi portion sliced economically whilst another took the full portion which was better. The vichyssoise soup was cold and had to be sent back. The onion soup was tatsless. The berry dessert came with hot chocolate sauce which was neither hot enough to melt the berries and diluted with butter. Sent them back and was told something was wrong with the recipe. We won't be coming back - frankly it was extremely poor all round and not enough staff.

A lovely meal beautifully served. The staff are all great and the atmosphere perfect. Excellent value for money too. Its good that thr service tip is included

Helpful and friendly staff...it was Mothers Day and so it was extremely busy. It all was a very pleasant experience and the MD Brunch menu was very good value

Our reservation had been lost but the manager managed to seat us. Service was slow as it was very busy- it was mothering Sunday so there were lots of guests. Food was very tasty.
