excellent. No problem caused by the late arrival of one guest. Food very good. Ate more than I meant to. Nice to have a dedicated vegetarian menu.

Quite friendly. Took a while to come to the table but it was slightly busy. Had the steak and frites. Menu says the steak is pink on the inside. It came very overdone on a plate that was nuclear hot. Complained and then had a slightly underdone one. However, the waiter then removed the coffee and wine from the bill so all was good in the end. Maybe chit the steaks a little bit thicker so the chef can cook them. They're too thin.

Service and food was excellent throughout , and the wine was also very good . Why are there not more restaurants like this in Lewes ??

A very good evening. Although busy the service was excellent. The meals we had were great, up to Cote's high standard. We will return.

We are frequent guests at Lewes Cotes and often go for special occasions. We are consistently impressed by the food and service. Very high standard.

Lovely from start to finish! The food was delicious and made with care. Great and prompt service - what more could anyone want. We had steak and beef bourgignon - both highly recommended plus delicious desserts. We will definitely return.

The staff were absolutely brilliant, particularly our waiter: 10 out of 10. Drinks and food came out quickly and seamlessly and was delicious (the Jerusalem artichoke side is ace), as was the complimentary cocktail. Haven't been to Cote for a while after a crap time at a different restaurant about a year ago, but last night at Lewes was excellent.

Lovely food as always, service was a little slow particularly ordering and getting drinks but it was very busy.

We waited over 45 minutes for starters another long wait for main course which was stone cold after complaining and another long wait our mains were replaced by more stone cold food we were very disappointed it was our first visit and valentines day we expected better

As ever Cote Lewes was excellent - food, service, ambience. Staff are delightful more so this time because I had misunderstood the method of booking which included the free February cocktail. The manageress(?) took my phone and patiently altered my booking so 4 of us received a delicious free blood orange cocktail. Thank youCote!!

We we were given the table we asked for when we booked. The service was very good, and the food was the usual high standard, Excellent value for money, Lewes is the best Cote that we use. The only minor blemish is that we took advantage of the January sale, by ordering from a particular Email, but the small saving was not forthcoming, we were charged the published menu rate, which I didn't realise until we had got home

Food was lovely (especially the grand marnier crepe) & the cocktails delicious too. Very busy at lunchtime so service was slower than normal although friendly & professional.

The food was very nice and the service was friendly. The only small let down were the eggs on my wife’s veggie breakfast which strangely lacked flavour.

Visiting a new area and we were delighted to fine that there was a branch of Cotes. We were not disappointed as the food and service was up to the high standards we’ve come to expect. All customers were greeted as if they were old friends and the duty managers did their utmost to accommodate those that hadn’t book so that no one was disappointed. There was a minor glitch with a dessert which was quickly resolved and we were generously compensated.

Good food as usual. The Booth in front of the disabled toilet could do with a curtain just behind to shield toilet door as not everybody closes the door. Their is a curtain behind table opposite where food come from kitchen.

The food was amazing. Our waitress had an unfortunate manner and as a result was not endearing. By the end of lunch there were only a few customers left and sadly the staff were then more interested in resetting tables than giving any attention to us. Bit of a let down really.

A lovely evening as usual. We went for the early evening menu which was delicious and reasonable. Lovely atmosphere and excellent service. Reliably good.
