The meal itself was reasonable although the service was a bit hit and miss. Unfortunately I was sick within an hour of leaving the restaurant

The evening was only marred by the very noisy plumbing which made a very loud noise so we couldn't speak whenever someone turned the tap on in the toilets. We did mention to the waiter who said they trying to get it fixed, but obviously not on a Saturday night.

As usual food was excellent, service impeccable. With every Cote I have ever eaten in I know exactly what I am going to get and have never been disappointed.

Great food and service. Staff were very careful of my gluten free needs. Would have marked six stars if not for the food and drink coming out very slowly .

The food was delicious. Our waitress was absolutely perfect! My only issue was it was cramped, the tables are too close together it’s hard to relax.

Sadly my wifes and my evening was ruined (our anniversary) when four drunken loud young men were placed right next to us they were swearing "where do i have a piss" and very unlike your normal customer particularly for 7pm in the evening. I cannot for the sake of me understand why they were allowed in let alone placed right next to us right in the front of the restaurant.?

Our table was slightly too small for six people, otherwise we had a most enjoyable get together!

The food was as usual excellent,but we were seated in a room that was excessively noisy and echoing. It was so very difficult to hear, or be heard by, my neighbour that I sat silent for long periods. Until the management takes effective noise control measures,I shall refuse any table in that echo chamber.

Have eaten here many times but it was our first breakfast here and we would definitely do it again. Excellent service and food. Would recommend.

Unfortunately my food extremely disappointing. Fish pie, which consisted of two small pieces of salmon and two prawns and the thinnest layer of potato I have ever seen. I left feeling very hungry and disappointed. Unable to complain as with friends on a special occasion. Their food was wonderful which they all enjoyed. They all had the half a chickens with sauces

Cote is the best thing that has happened in Lewes for a very long time. Never fails to please.

Really good meal (although my first choice was sold out) and extremely friendly service. Unfortunaltey the noise level in our part of the restaurant was very high.

We had a great dinner at Cote Lewes. Outstanding food and service.

Food was okay, nothing that special though. Service was incredibly slow. Waited 45 minutes for main courses - when you go early evening (6pm) and don’t have starters this is far too long.

Excellent customer service, we were really well looked after and always great food.

We were badly let down by having to wait over an hour for one of our groups main courses which was one of your signature dishes Boeuf Bourgogne. The rest of our group were forced to eat their food and had long finished by the time it eventually turned up. It was unclear what the problem was and no one could adequately explain the problem.

Throughly enjoyed our evening, great food, service and had a nice buzz. Our waitress was super smiley. Will return again

Wonderful birthday meal here last night. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food excellent. We chose Breton cider to drink which we thought excellent value.

We had a great time at Cote Lewes, the restaurant was very well decorated and had a great feeling, service was excellent and food 5 star, the complimentery kire royals as it was my birthday made it extra special, we will definitely be back and recommend to friends and family.

Great food. Staff were lovely with an excellent sense of humour. There was a bit of a wait between starters and main, not really a problem for us and the restaurant was very busy.

Our first time here and had a lovely three course meal,couldn’t fault the food or service. Not the cheapest restaurant but considering the quality I would say it is very good value for money. Staff were fantastic. If I had to be super critical the tables are slightly cramped together.
