As always, the food was lovely (although there wasn’t much taste to the apple and blackberry crumble). Waitress was very good. When we asked for more time between courses it wasn’t a problem
where we sat just behind us was a big patty who were standing up for drinks first and we felt they were crowding out table and were noisy so we had to move our table away slightly. Two of our meals of duck breast when delivered were cold we sent them back and had to wait for new ones but the big party were served first so two of us had to wait 30mins for new ones which we thendeclined as it was too late
Fantastic lunch! Really enjoyed the French 75 cocktails and the Steak Frites was cooked to perfection. Restaurant was busy and really buzzy and staff were very professional and the service remained good.
Good points: attentive service, good menu choice (including gluten-free). Not so good: incredibly poor acoustics and mediocre food. This could potentially be great place, but the execution needs significant improvement.
Very, very good as always. Excellent service, great value for money and a cheerful welcome from very helpful staff. Would recommend and will return next time in London.
Great location by the river. Good pre-theatre meal which was excellent value. Good idea to book table in advance as it was very popular and busy.
Exemplary service all evening and excellent food. The staff made my mum feel very special on her birthday. Thank you for a wonderful evening - I'll be back.
The food and atmosphere are very good and it's value of money. Although it can get very noisy when the restaurant is full. I would recommend this restaurant.
Excellent attention to details! I was here on my birthday, so I've received a glass of champagne and dessert on the house, which was a very nice touch to overall experience. As well as friendly staff and quick, professional service. Thank you for delicious dinner, we will be coming back for sure!
Food was at its normal good standard but unfortunately on this visit the ususlly good service was absent. The did not seem to be enough staff and so the member of staff present was clearly harassed and quite abrupt. We had to wait ages for order to be taken and took several asks before a member staff came to take drinks order and then a long wait. Main course was practically finishes before glasses of wine ordered actually arrived.
Toilets were not clean, and too cramped. Service was slow. Food was lovely though.
An enjoyable lunch in a cool setting. Super friendly staff who ensured waiting time was kept to a minimum. Great views of Thames. I wish the beer was in 500ml bottles and not 330ml. We will be returning soon.
The food was great, the service was good and the duty manager couldn't have been more accommodating. She made room for my grand daughter's pram, next to our table. Admittedly the restaurant was less than half full but she could have been a jobsworth and not allowed the pram in the restaurant.
Wonderful food, great service, lovely ambitious. There was no rush for us to leave, we all enjoyed the time there being able to relax and all meet up
Great as usual tried the ivy last night very disappointing cote remains reliable and good
Thank you we had a lovely time celebrating my daughter’s 21st birthday. Food was yummy! My granddaughter enjoyed the mashed potatoes so much! Thank you for complimentary birthday cake and drinks! Amazing!
It feels like you are in a very expensive restaurant, yet it’s excellent value for money. Great setting and great food. Lots of attentive staff too.
Lovely food and location, great and attentive staff. Been coming to this restaurant for years. The only note I’d have is that the ladies toilets are too small and tend to be a bit messy:) Thanks.
The food was amazing and the staff were very professional and friendly. It was an extremely busy day and everything seemed to be running smoothly. We enjoyed a really nice leisurely lunch and will definitely return.
My husband and I both had steaks that were perfectly cooked and delicious. The creamed spinach as a side was also really nice. The service was polite and efficient..
Price really added up very quickly, despite not ordering much food / drink. Food was good quality and tasty though. Not sure whether I would return
Good food and drink all fine. Great location but at the end of the evening the “faulty” air con starts up and suddenly the Resturant is very cold and everyone starts to leave Restaurant nearly empty at 2145. And of course it’s nothing about staff clearing up the restaurant to get home quick!!!
The staff made an extra effort to ensure my wife’s birthday celebration was special
Food was not brought out together - very staggered. My food and my neighbours had cooled down considerably. The waiters didn't seem to remember who had ordered what, and the plates were often passed over the table via another diner. The food was fine. However service was very slow - we had a booking for 1.5 hours, but didn't have time for a dessert (just a main)
We were there for an intimate hen party for 3. Wonderful evening Mariusz and his team treat our hen like royalty with complentary bubbles, desert and coffee. Really efficient service with time between courses to savour our food and the brûlée and espresso was to die for! Thank you 😊 we’ll be back, you can count on it.
When we first arrived there was a slight delay in taking any orders but once the cheerful waiter came and took out drinks order it was perfect. We selected from the Prestige set menu , 3 courses for 19.99 I had the Calamari which was a generous portion as was my friend’s Pork rillettes . The calamari was served with homemade tartare sauce which was delicious The calamari was tender inside with a lovely crispy crumb on the outside. I had Fish Parmientier which was full of prawns salmon and cod with a cheesy mashed potato cover, delicious and my friend said her Breton chicken grilled with garlic butter was wonderful. My dessert was Apple crumble and I’ve cream and my friend had the Coupe Noire . The coupe Noir was served with a hot chocolate sauce and my crumble was very tasty and not too sweet. Very nice indeed. The waitress who took over halfway through the meal was delightful and very helpful and accommodating . Having had a couple of not so good experience at Côte over the last year I was very pleasantly surprised at the vast improvement
The environment is amazing, very good service and food! I would definitely recommend. There is a variety of dishes and everyone was happy with his or her order, including a child.
Superb. Staff amazing and made a special effort for my Mums birthday. Top marks!!! Food and drink lovely, and would love to return very soon!
Really enjoyed the food and service at Cote was brilliant. Hayes Galleria is a fab place to be and Cote was a fab place to eat! Highly Recommended
The food overall was ok but not amazing. It lacked flavour. No gravy in children’s sausages and mash and carrots covered in sugar which tainted the whole dish which meant our son barely touched his meal.
Fantastic location, fabulous food and friendly and efficient staff. The easter gin cocktail was a delicious treat and Cote remains one of my favourite places! The Hay's Galleria has the best views though,
Excellent location near Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast and Bridge Theatre. Food was of good standard and reasonable value. Service was somewhat slow, in comparison with other Côte Brasseries.
Great food and ever attentive service. Just one functional toilet between a restaurant full of dozens of women though?! Far from ideal I’m sorry to say.
The food was honestly exquisite and such good value for money. Highly recommend. Staff were attentive and polite. Again; I can't tell you how perfect the food was. The French Onion soup is my favourite starter EVER! The duck was cooked to perfection!
Lively place with great views. Very busy and could do with more staff as they were obviously stretched, but still enjoyed it. Nice food, well presented.
An excellent lunch in a convivial atmosphere. Great Service and value for money. Waiting time was minimum but as the restaurant was very busy, the noise level was not conducive to intimacy. It didn't spoil our enjoyment though.
Great value and good consistency of the menu across the chain of restaurants.
Fabulous Hays Galleria Cote is the best restaurant in town. Fab views on river, wonderfully attentive staff the food is so tasty and fabulous value.
Absolutely fantastic - a lovely meal in a great restaurant! Being a ceoliac I can always rely on Cote! The staff were attentive and couldn't do more for us. As I'm part of the mailing list I booked the table after being offered a free bottle of wine and marked one guest was gluten free as soon as we arrived they asked us which bottle we wanted and immediately got out a gluten free menu without even having to ask!
I have been a regular customer of Cote Brasserie for the past 10 years or so; mainly the restaurant in Hampstead where I live but often meet up for dinner with a friend at the restaurant in London Bridge as I did on the 15th at 7pm. I just wanted to drop a note saying what a great service we received from Juan (spelling?) and as usual, the food was very good too. I am truly impressed with how Cote Brasserie manages to consistently provide great service and food. I am very impressed by how the business is managed and wish you all the luck for the future - and you can continue to count me as a customer.
I had a lovely birthday lunch with colleagues. The food was delicious and the service as very efficient. I would definitely come back and, of course recommend Cote Brasserie to my friends. Thank you.
Fabulous, relaxed, attentive, welcoming. The ambience of this restaurant was exceptional. Enjoyed a wonderful meal with family to celebrate two birthdays and we couldn’t thank the staff enough. Made the evening so brilliant. Would definitely recommend this Côte!
Reasonably priced however the steak frites is a huge disappointment: a very very thin steak that i asked to he cooked "blue" (raw).. It came as medium and I guess because it was way too thin to be cooked as I wanted it. My friends were happy with their choice though. Great service.
Good quality food served without the need to wait too long at a very reasonable price. Great place for a not to formal lunch. Not my first visit, and will be my last visit
I frequently dine at Cote restaurants because the food and service is always good. I’m happy to post this review but I won’t be doing it again because of this 25 word minimum demand
Lovely food, great setting, fab service. Reasonably priced for a stunning city setting
Always love this venue. It is usually two of us for lunch but we had an extra person with us on this occasion, who had not been to a Côte before. He was duly impressed with food, service and atmosphere and vowed it would not be his only Côte experience.
Our second visit during our week long stay at the Tower Hotel (great views). Just love visiting the different Cote branches and this one of the most impressive in respect both of location and interior layout. As always, you are made to feel so welcome on arrival and this continues throughout the evening. The fare was excellent and the quality and presentation could not be faulted.
Amazing FOOD with great mony value! I will recommend to book online before showing, as the Resturant is quite crowded. I’ve enjoyed the dinner, and I will definitely visit again..
Starter of scallops was much too oily as was the main course of lamb chops, both of which were seasonal specials so a little disappointing. Steak tartare was nice but had a little too much sinew which has never been the case before and we dine at Cote a lot. Service was excellent but it took a long time to get attention as the restaurant became busy. Overall, not our best Cote experience but still nice.
