Really lovely food - tasty and well cooked. Small problem with temperature of the soup, but this was amended without fuss and quickly - also received small partial refund for the inconvenience. Service was a little slow to start (no one came to table to take order) but once we'd explained we were going to the theatre the service speeded up. Will certainly return if in the area again.

The location was excellent, overlooking the river, the food was also very good. However the service was poor and at points our waiter was rude, clearing plates without asking and before people has finished eating. Disappointing.

Cote London Bridge is a favourite of ours and we use it probably monthly usually after a theatre visit. It’s situation by The Thames is nice particularly on a sunny day and the ambience and atmosphere is good.Menu is varied and reasonably priced, service is timely and you never feel rushed. The only issue I have and in fairness this has happened at other Côte restaurants is the moment you order anything that even slightly differs from the exact menu you are in trouble. Our party of 4 all ordered the Rib Eye Steak, with one asking for the steak NOT to be seasoned as she has a dislike bordering on an allergy to pepper, whilst whether the steak is cooked as requested is always questionable with chefs erring on the rare side, the NO seasoning was not optional and we made it clear to our waitress that was the case.. when the mains were served it came out seasoned and had to be sent back leaving the other 3 diners having to wait for it to be reserved and generally putting a downer on the ambience surrounding the meal. I don’t think it’s too much to ask for something like this to be adhered to In fairness Côte were extremely generous in their response and did not charge us for any food, only drink which was impressive and appreciated. Whilst this generosity is nice it would be much more preferable if simple requests to the kitchen are acted upon and this also flows to Steak cooking, if it’s an option to have your meat cooked medium or well done then do it, if the chef only wants to serve it pink, then put that on the menu and we won’t order it, very annoying and it disrupts the meal

We were well looked after by a welcoming front of house who actually cleared and prepped our table. We were given a really comfortable nice big booth table. Food was really tasty. Loved the chicken and potato gratin. Really well seasoned. Spring risotto really good. Fish stew was packed with shellfish and monkfish. Enjoyed the complimentary g&t. All in all a great late lunch.

Good food and pleasant service, but very noisy. And disappointing that the set menu doesn't come on until 3.00pm. Odd?

The food was nice, however the restaurant seemed very under staffed so as a result the service was poor. Water bottle are too small and heavy so keep needing top ups.

Food ok but clearly a problem in kitchen, waited over 90 mins for our meal. Waiter apologised but not at all what we expected from a company like this so will think twice before booking again. Very noisy.

Our waiter was extremely rude and he’s lucky I didn’t remove the optional tip off the bill. From the moment we arrived he didn’t even break a smile. Instead he was abrupt, rude, and slammed our plates on the table. Shocking behaviour. Now reflecting back on this I wish I had removed the tip!

The two starters ordered (Olives and Bread) were delivered to the table separately with a long delay in between. One main course - Haddock wrapped in bacon and served with wilted spinach and puy lentils was extremely poor. I explained that I was unable to eat lentils and requested that these were replaced by buttered carrots. My husband's meal was presented followed by my meal - one small piece of fish and bacon presented on the plate with no wilted spinach or any other accompaniment. The waiter was called to the table and seemed very reluctant to address any issues. The meal was eventually replaced, following intervention by the Restaurant Manager, but was served after a long delay. My husband's meal was left so we actually consumed our whole meal at separate times. Extremely disappointing

Excellent lunch - cosy and pleasant bustling ambiance. My friend had the tuna nicoise and I had the swordfish. Both were delicious. The service was especially good. Our waitress, Giada, recommended a different bottle of wine to the one we had originally selected and it was perfect.

Yesterday we held a reunion lunch for a party of 26 former university graduates at Cote Brasserie at Hays Galleria. We had a wonderful time and there were many comments on the choice of such a great venue. The menu offered a very wide choice of food and there were lots of comments about how delicious the food was. All the staff were very helpful ensuring everything went smoothly with nothing too much trouble. We were seated upstairs slightly away from other people which worked well for everyone as talking from a large group can be noisy for other diners. Both before and on the day I was very impressed with the customer focus and professionalism of the staff in how they dealt with issues.

I have been a regular customer of Cote Brasserie for the past 10 years or so; mainly the restaurant in Hampstead where I live but often meet up for dinner with a friend at the restaurant in London Bridge as I did on the 15th at 7pm. I just wanted to drop a note saying what a great service we received from Juan (spelling?) and as usual, the food was very good too. I am truly impressed with how Cote Brasserie manages to consistently provide great service and food. I am very impressed by how the business is managed and wish you all the luck for the future - and you can continue to count me as a customer.

Reasonably priced however the steak frites is a huge disappointment: a very very thin steak that i asked to he cooked "blue" (raw).. It came as medium and I guess because it was way too thin to be cooked as I wanted it. My friends were happy with their choice though. Great service.

The mannerism and attitude of the Waitress really ruined the mood and experience, and actually led onto an argument amongst ourselves that I actually ended up being in a bad mood for the entire time that I was in the restaurant. What I wanted to order wasn't available and the restaurant had run out, so I asked for something else to which the waitress got annoyed for whatever reason that I didn't even understand as I think I didn't ask anything that would provoke them to behave that way. She was dashing the water bottles onto the table, and when asked for extra wine glass as there was an initial miscount of the people who wanted to drink, she rolled her eyes haffing and puffing away, and literally presented the glass in our face, rather than putting it on the table, this had affected that person who wanted the glass as the presentation and her mannerism was actually so poor. She then switched over with someone else, and the person changed over brought some wine that I couldn't even tell if it was the wine that I ordered. Usually places would show the label of the wine and confirm if it is the wine that we've ordered. Wine glasses had already been laid out the table for the people who are having it, yet she asked 'are you having wine', the wine I couldn't even tell what it is, and to her question I answered 'Possibly', depending upon confirmation of the wine, and she seemed to have showed annoyance and ill attitude for answering 'Possibly'. The changeover to the other waitress had calmed my mood little more, but the ill attitude from the first waitress led onto an argument amongst ourselves that we actually left the restaurant not talking properly to each other. I wont be going Cote again.

Very good food as always at the Cote Brasserie restaurants. But this was even an inch above the others we have been to: Richmond, St. Paul, Ealing, Covent Garden. The food tonight was delicious and the atmosphere and service was fine also. Must go!

We thoroughyl enjoyed our meal from the Prestige Set Menu. There was an excellent variety of dishes to choose from and overall it was very good value for money. The only complaint that we had was that the Peach Crumble was only lukewarm and should have been hotter. We were given replacements which were much hotter and, consequently, much better. It is for this reason only that we have rated you with five stars instead of six.

We returned to this restaurant again whilst visiting London for a weekend away to see a show. Once again the service and food were first class and we would thoroughly recommend it when staying in the area (we stayed at the London Bridge hotel). We will return when next in London.
