Good French Bistro food, piping hot and well presented. Balanced portions. Good service and wine list. Will go again. Ambience relaxed with plenty of room between tables.

Very welcoming staff and good food. Atmosphere reasonable for a local restaurant. The value of the food is excellent. It's well prepared and presented and delivered to the table nicely.

Cote never fails to please. In my opinion, it's the only chain to be consistently good and hasn't gone into the downward spiral that all the others have as the number of branches increased.

Staff are good and welcoming and the food is always well presented. Service is a bit too quick though and we ended up with olives we didn't order!

We had a great time at the Le Cote in Muswell Hill last night. The March special menu with swordfish was delicious we will definitely be returning. Regards Kevin

Great food, service was good, a bit slow but that was because the restaurant was packed out. Very good value for money on the two course special. Will definitely go back.

Have been here quite a few times and always a good option for a family gathering. Good food options and new specials, they also have a very good value set menu mon-fri during certain times. Steaks are always good and cooked well and nice atmosphere and service.

Excellent service and lovely food. An almost authentic French brasserie experience. What was missing was the provision of bread with the meal. We ordered some but had to pay extra. Otherwise a pleasurable evening.

Good food and varied menu. Children's menu was good too. Service was fine, if a little slow at the beginning. Restaurant is a cramped though making it very loud and hot.

The early evening menu is really good value. The food is competently cooked, and while potions are moderate sized, two or three courses are enough. Service is friendly and efficient and ambiance makes this a good venue for a night out with friends.

Good service and food, reasonable prices. Very patient with the babies we took with us. Allowed us to take our own birthday cake! Will go again

Another great meal at Cote. This restaurant seems to be consistently good at delivering quality meals. There was one mistake with our drink order but they fixed it straight away.

Great breakfast here, probably the best coffee in Muswell Hill and the service is always great, staff friendly, helpful and polite. Will definitely be back.

Reliably simple good food and wine, friendly staff and buzzy atmosphere. Good local branch well run. Menu changed a little since I was last there a few months ago - beetroot salad was delic.

Very good atmosphere and superb service. The food was amazing, probably one of the best rib eye steaks I ever had. The house wines were good too.

We had a lovely meal. It was part of my birthday day and made it very special. We all enjoyed our choices very much. Your staff also called a taxi for us as there are few taxis in the Muswell Hill Area. Thankyou.

The breakfast was cook to perfection was well presented and extremely tasty. The service was again fantastic. The coffee was very nice and so was their orange juice.

Lovely food and service! Manager was very lovely too! Will defintely recommend the restaurant to my friends and family in the future. Will be going back soon.

We always enjoy eating at Cote in Muswell Hill; good food (and perfect service for gluten free diners!) and nice and helpful staff. We think of it as our local!

As always staff were welcoming and helpful with a quiet table provided. The food is always reliable, prices competitive and the house wine delicious. A good experience with a friendly atmosphere, oh and great fries.

Lovely food but had to prompt that we had a free bottle of wine with the reservation and then at the end the price was added so had to explain again.

The food and ambiance excellent. Friendly and efficient staff made visit seem special, It did not matter as we were not in a hurry, but the food was slightly slow in being brought to the table.

We were pleased with the food and general service but felt at times that there were no staff to be seen - very few on duty and had to wait to see a member of staff available in the dining areas.

First class great food and not expensive just what u want in a restaurant and great staff it was my kids birthday they gave him his desert for free with a candle and of course happy birthday again first class

Lovely food and a good selection , also a gluten free menu which my friend appreciated, but I think it's cheeky that you have to pay for vegetables. 6 of us eating lunch then had to each order vegetables separately as none of our meals came with only chips. It would be nice to have some veg offered with your meal (as most restaurants do) and then have to pay extra if you wanted a different one. It added another £18 onto our bill just to order veg.

My husband and I had dinner here with our children and they were very welcoming and had a great children's menu. Lovely food and atmosphere.

the first table they sat us at was not good (right up close to the serving station) , but when my wife requested a different table they were very helpful. We had a lovely night the staff wee very friendly and we will definetly be returning.

Normally terrified when faced with a large menu but they produced a lovely meal for both of us and the service was great, I can see why this small chain is so popular. We would definately recommend Cote.

The food was generally good although my husband said his peach crumble was not as hot as it could have been. The waitress was very pleasant but it was disappointing that our table for five wasn't ready when we arrived, despite having booked almost a week in advance.

I always enjoy going to Cote and have been a regular for some years now , however I was dismayed last night when I ordered one of my favorite dishes, the fish parmentier, to discover that the size of the portion had been reduced significantly! I mentioned it to our waiter was obviously embarrassed and new exactly what I was referring to when I pointed out how small the portion was but he handled my complaint well advising me not to order it again upon my next visit and smiling sweetly. I most certainly will not be ordering it again and I will continue to patronise Cote but I am sad to see that Cote are beginning to cut potions in order to increase profits.

We chose Cote for a celebratory lunch and enjoyed good food served by very nice staff. Even with a bottle of Bolly, the meal was reasonably priced. Thank you.

Lovely food, good service and the staff are very friendly ..... but .... off duty staff sitting in the restuarant making extremely loud and long phone calls is very off-putting and annoying. This often happens and feels like we are eating in a staff canteen. Staff should be supplied with their own staff room and somewhere to go when off duty, not to use the restaurant as their staff room.

The service was generally pretty good, i.e. most of the time we didn't have to wait for attention. The food was very good, as always. The only shame was that the crumble wasn't available, as it was the only hot dessert on the table d'hote menu.

The food at Cote is always delicious and always good value. Plenty of choice too and the service is excellent. The creme caramel is the best in London!

Always excellent, my favourite restaurant in Muswell Hill. Food, service and ambience all very good, so much so that I'm visiting again tonight, second night running !!

Sunday lunchtime. Pre-booked. Nice table by the window. Suitably varied menu, both food and drink. Between us had the special burger, steak and duck breast all very pleasant and filling but not over massive. Nice selection of desserts. but too satiated to eat more. The service was a bit slow. I did order cheese with the burger, but they forgot. Would I go again, yes.

This is our local Cote. There is always a relaxed vibe, and friendly welcome. Service is generally good and Cote get all the basics right - food is well-presented and piping hot.

Staff were welcoming; helpful; patient (some of our party were late); food good; waiter attentive; background music not intrusive. Altogether a very pleasant and enjoyable evening.

The service and food were excellent. The staff were all attentive and smiling and made us feel at ease. They were also good at explaining every detail about the various choices and dishes we chose. I would happily go again and also recommend it to friends.
