I booked for 5 people at 2pm on Boxing Day. We were shown to a nice table and ordered drinks. We then ordered from both the 2-3 course menu and a la carte. 3 people chose starters, which arrived promptly and were very tasty. It took a long for the main courses, but not so bad. Again very good quality. Service very good as usual and overall a very pleasant meal.

Food was much better than last time and the service was a little slow but overall a great Christmas Eve meal , kids loved the choice on there menu.

Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Advise you book in advance as always busy. Lunch and dinner excellent value for money. Can book easily online. Great location.

Food was good, service was great and a nice atmosphere overall . Portions were slightly small relative to the price, however it may have been because I was very hungry.

The food and service was very good and the staff were first class. However, the restaurant was very noisy and it was hard to hear our conversations. Also we were by the kitchen door and one member of our party got a cold blast every time the door opened.

Excellent food, and very good service (perhaps a bit slow for some people's taste, but we didn't mind). Only criticism: the room is very noisy when there are a lot of people there—a bit of soundproofing wouldn't go amiss! But this is nit-picking.

Usual friendly/helpful staff and good food - best selection of 4 meals that we had this time was the sea bass and the duck (mains), the smoked salmon platter (starter) and the crème caramel was to die for. A reliable venue and a friendly/informal atmosphere. Can thoroughly recommend.

Took an hour for main course to arrive... it was ok but not worth waiting an hour for. Expensive for this service. Disappointed with the experience.

Very enjoyable evening, celebrating our daughters 16th birthday. Our waiter made her desert special by adding a candle and singing Happy birthday to her. A lovely touch.

A very pleasant lunch. Thank you to Cote Newbury for our complimentary Kias Royale and Hors d'oevres. The staff were as friendly and welcoming as ever and the food prepared and served as well as ever.

It was absolutely brilliant. The staff were lovely, attentive and even brought water for my Guide Dog puppy. The breakfast itself was delicious. I would definitely recommend the Eggs Royale.
