Great food once again, 3 course lunch menu for £13 each and the food is amazing. Very busy today and still the service is excellent, we'll be back again next week.

Always a very warm welcome, was seated promptly and looked after. Our hot drinks were delicious. Definitely a great place to meet with a client as the service is friendly and professional. Look forward to my next visit.

Food is always consistently good at the Newbury cote, the place is comfortable and staff are great. Always good to eat here, shame the haywards heath and Chichester are not as good.

I ordered Eggs Royale, but unfortunately the whites of the eggs were undercooked and runny. When I ordered the dish I mentioned I had this problem before. The staff handled this very well and I received a new dish which was very nice.

Great service as always and a delicious meal. The staff were attentive but not overfacing. Althoigh our table was not ready when we arrived as the previous table were running late they found us another with no fuss

Staff were good overall although the olives that were offered on arrival didn't ever arrive. Our table had a 2 seater shared sofa for seating which meant awkward intemite dinning with the neighbouring table once they'd arrived.

Yet another warm welcome from the staff as we went in. Then shown to are table and within a minute or so the waitress came and asked what we would like. We ordered our meals and as always lathe staff were fantastic.The meal arrived plate and food hot perfect and yes the waitress did come back and asked if everything was OK. Unfortunately had to send a dish back today, but the staff were lovely. A replacement meal was brought without a fuss and the cost of the meal deducted from our bill xxx

The service was excellent and we all enjoyed the meal, my son who likes steaks said the ribeye was great, we all had different sweets and again very, very good.

After eating at this restaurant frequently since it opened and then being served fillet steak that was off (to the extent it was full of air and smelt like out of date meat) to then be confronted by the Manager and being told "it only came in yesterday and is fine" resulted in us leaving. We will NEVER eat there again. The management of the situation was poorly done, we made no fuss but we're basically called liars. Unacceptable. We paid our bill for what we ate and left. Chefs should surely know when meat is substandard let alone off, managers whilst replacing food should realise that guests deserve to be treated with respect especially when the food is so blatantly poor. Bad show all round!!!!

Cote Brasserie is one of the best restaurants in Newbury for quality food, excellent service and a lovely inviting atmosphere. I typically stay away from chains but Cote for me is always the exception as I can't fault it at all.

We've only been a couple of times but they both been excellent and this is now our new restaurant of choice for a lovely date night.

Being a french style restaurant, the food was excellent and the waiter was quite humourous. All in all, a great experience. My only addition, it that some pre snacks without charge would be a great idea.

As always, the Cote Newbury delivers. The food is extremely good and very reasonably priced, the service is impeccable and the overall atmosphere is great. There is no overall fussing and you always know you will receive wonderful service. A place to go to without worry.

The service was great and even when our meals had to be re cooked due to the mussesls not looking so great they came and told us and offered extra seafood.

The food and the service was excellent all round. Great flavours and the service was very attentive but discreet. I certainly recommend a visit and we will be back soon.

Love eating here, the food is amazing and there's plenty of choices to suit all budgets. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and wine and the manager Karen is very welcoming and will do her very best to make your time there special.

Booked for lunch on Saturday for myself and a friend and we had the minute steak, the fishcakes and a lovely bottle of red wine, it was all absolutely fantastic, the atmosphere was busy and buzzing and the service was exceptional, will definitely return.
