Côte Newbury

We always enjoy visiting Newbury Cote. The food is good quality - served well with excellent staff who are friendly and enjoy chatting. Staff turnover seems to be minimal, which must be good.

A lovely lunch with great service as always. Love the changing set menu and all the great dishes that are on it. Very friendly staff.

The side salad didn't come with the main course, it came after reminding staff of the order which was too late as main course had been eaten. Then when it arrived a comment was made that it's too late and we were not paying for it. The member of staff was very abrupt saying we won't charge you for it.

We always enjoy Cote Brasserie. The food is great and the same standard in each restaurant and the same can be said of the service. Would have been a 6 but for noise from next door table but a very enjoyable evening.

A nice table, good attention and prompt service from the waiting staff and a very enjoyable meal or Breton chicken and side salad accompanied by a crisp white wine.

We had a lovely meal, the food was tasty and the service was very good. My daughter had the burger, husband the duck breast and I the steak and frites. The calamari was particularly gorgeous too !!

The food was excellent, very tasty and very important to us was piping hot. The creme caramel was out of this world, we would dine at Cote again just to have this dessert. Also the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The food was excellent and our waiter was brilliant, he was so attentive and really made the meal a real experience, we all really enjoyed ourselves.

Cote Brasserie in Newbury continues to impress. Really delicious,steaming hot Haddock Parmentier and the usual sublime crème caramel - served efficiently and cheerfully. Really excellent value meal. What more could you want?

This restaurant offers excellent quality, value for money food. My group of five had the early evening menu. We all thoroughly enjoyed our courses. The staff were first class, friendly and helpful.

Had a lovely meal, with all courses well prepared and served. We chose this restaurant because of its extensive gluten free menu, which had plenty of choice. Would recommend.

First time here and none of us were disappointed. Food, wine, service and atmosphere all very good. Wide range of choices on the menu to suit all tastes. We had different starters which left clean plates, four different main course meal all came hot and well presented and again clean plates. I would like to add that we are four friends who meet up several times a year and we are all very choosy about our food with our motto being 'if we can make this at home it's not worth paying for' whilst the food is not innovative it is good quality and well prepared and presented and definitely worth paying for. We will definitely go again. We also thought the bill would be more than it was. The staff were discretely attentive. I don't like recommending restaurants because food is personal taste but I can say that for us it had all the components of a very good evening for a meal with friends at a perfectly exceptable price. Hope you enjoy it too.

As always, delicious food (really loved the scallops with put lentils on the May menu) and attentive service at a reasonable price - what's not to like!

Nice atmosphere good French menu service friendly. Why not give it a try. We had the goats cheese salad, fish stew and crepe grand marnier.

Came here for our anniversary meal. Left it very late to book ( literally hours before) so couldn't get the time slot we wanted but that was fine. Beautiful food with extremely attentive staff. Thoroughly recommended!

Great food. Good service. Most of the staff are very friendly and very attentive. Tonight there was one female member of staff with blonde hair. She was neither friendly or attentive but sadly robotic and cold. Shame really as the rest of the staff really make the place.

Lovely evening and food as usual but when our bill came it was all wrong and had random items added plus our complimentary Kit Royales had not been deducted. No fuss to correct it.

Friendly, attentive staff. Food was ok but certainly not to the standard of other Cotes I have visited. Very dusty & a lot of cobwebs. Need a new cleaner.
