Fabulous hospitality - not overdone - food and service was fab. Always love going to Cote as my food allergies are taken seriously and I always have a great choice!

Good Food, Good service. We did have an issue with a starter not being up to scratch, however, this was dealt with very well by the waitress and Manager. Did not detract from a pleasant evening.

We always enjoy our visits to Côte in Shrewsbury and our visit meeting family there on Tuesday for lunch was first class. Our guests had never visited any Côte Brasseries before but were very impressed so they will be adding the group to their favourite restaurants' list.

The meal was excellent, served in a warm, friendly and helpful way by CAROLINE, who was exceptionally good. I have marked you down slightly for the noise level, but wooden floors always tend to amplify sound. Thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Always love it here. Great food, great service and great value. Would highly recommend. Had the Prestige menu which is good for an early evening meal. Had the house red - very palatable.

Only disappointment was the bed of mushrooms that came with the monkfish which didn`t compliment the dish. Everything else was very good and the service was excellent.

Excellent evening with absolutely lovely food!! Only very very minor point was that a waitress spilled a drink on the table and didn't them come get to wipe it up.

We thought that we waited quite a while for our main course, but to be fair the restaurant was quite busy. All in all we personally think that Cote Brasserie is better than Cafe Rouge, Ask Italian, Zizzi and Carluccios, and we shall continue to support and enjoy meals at Cote Brasserie.

Overall, a genuinely superb meal and professional service. Booking a table on line was so easy. The welcome was spontaneous and the staff were all efficient and friendly. The food was fresh and beautifully presented. A really enjoyable and relaxing experience. We strongly recommend Cotes.

As usual very good food and service excellent staff very pleasant but not intrusive. Always has a nice “buzzy” atmosphere lovely venue to meet and catch up with friends.

The food was consistent to the high standards I expect from Côte (I live in London), and the service was even better! The staff here have created a lovely, relaxing bistro environment and the chef cook the tuna of my Niçoise to perfection.

Really lovely food. I think the 2 course and 3 course menu should be available at weekends too as that is the reason I went there.

Great breakfast as always never had a bad meal here at breakfast lunch or dinner. Have taken lots of friends and family as we know we can really on atmosphere service and food, staff very friendly.

This was our first visit to the Shrewsbury Cote. Our visit came up to the usual standard that we expect from our visits to other restaurants. Service was efficient and friendly and the food was excellent.

There were nine of us and we were all served together with lovely hot meals. Service was excellent by very cheerful staff. Would definitely visit again.

We love Cote! The food is always delicious with a great range of dishes so that all our party was able to indulge themselves. The atmosphere is like stepping into a Parisian zinc. The service was efficient, professional and attentive - be sure to keep your lovely manager who was charming and ensured everything ran smoothly. Reasonably priced, delicious food washed down with a complimentary 75 - what could be better? Thank you, Cote!

Although busy service was good until desert (ordered at beginning of meal) which took nearly 40 minutes to arrive. No excuse others who arrived after us received theirs (same desert) before us. Also tried to charge us for free wine. 12.5% service charge is too high, even if discretionary.

Busy Saturday evening.,some tables are a bit too close together. Staff friendly and professional Food disappointing Husband ordered goats cheese salad.. one thin slice of goats cheese at £10 is poor value I had Breton chicken which was dry and like cardboard. They knocked the price of the sauce off as I mentioned this to the waitress Could be so much better

Dined as a family for Mothers Day - food was excellent as was the service. Fantastic staff never disappoint, every visit is a pleasure and Cote Brasserie Shrewsbury is definitely our favourite restaurant for special occasions - we have dined there for birthdays (both breakfast and dinner), our silver wedding anniversary and our son's graduation. ALL the staff are an asset to the company and we thank them all for making every visit special. See you again soon.

We always enjoy our meals at Cote Brasserie. The service is excellent and the staff are so welcoming and pleasant. We love the ambiance and the food is always cooked to perfection. It is an added bonus when we have a complimentary bottle of wine and cocktail. This encourages us to visit more frequently. We are always recommending Cote to our friends and family.

We had a lovely meal at Cote in Shrewsbury I’m the Saturday night. We’d booked which was just as well as it was very busy, with a good atmosphere and excellent service. The food was delicious with a varied menu offered.

We arrived early not usual for local cabs; waited 10mins to be seated although we were 45 mins early. How great is that? I fully expected to be told to come back in 35 mins. The Food was excellent, we weren't sure of our wine choice and that was changed , no hassle no comment. There is a service charge added to be honest for the service given I would normally increase the amount. It is fabulous to find a restaurant in town that treat you so well they will always be your go to place x

We enjoyed a very good lunch from the weekend special menu and the staff were attentive and courteous whilst being very busy. Would deffo go again - just be aware the optional service charge is added to the bill.

Lovely layout, open areas with private tables to suit all. Not impressed with the ‘optional’ 12.5% gratuity charge on the bill. This isn’t the USA! We did leave a tip commensurate with the service we received. I notice from other reviews that the gratuity policy has been mentioned, food for thought? (Excuse the pun)

A lovely meal with great service. As someone with Coeliac Disease eating out is often an anxious experience however the staff at Côte in Shrewsbury were excellent, the gluten free menu was clearly explained, the manager took my order personally and my food was brought out clearly labelled by a separate server to the rest of the party which gave confidence in their overall understanding of my condition. All of us enjoyed our meals, both main and dessert and the staff were extremely polite, attentive and service was speedy but not too speedy!

Really good Sunday lunch - three generations of family to celebrate our sons 18th. Staff were helpful with ordering and kindly brought his pudding with a birthday message on the plate and candle/sparkler. Food was well cooked, sensible portions and nice interiors. Thank you.

Staff were very attentive and accommodating.so much so that when they found out it was my birthday a card appeared from all the staff.What a lovely thought. Food was very good ,although our mains were a long time in coming and the waitress picked up on this and apologised saying that there had been a mix up in the kitchen . This is the reason that l have only given three stars for overall experience.

As usual the customer service was excellent, the food exemplary and the toilets pristine. My favourite place to eat in all of the West Midlands. Voila ! 🥰

Just had one slip up ordered 3 starters only 2 arrived we had to inform the staff twice to get third starter it ment someone was having to eat their starter after the other 2 had finished there's. Thought we may have had a bit of reduction in bill but no. Apart from that everything very good food atmosphere. Our table a bit noise near coffee machine but had good view of street and things going on outside so can't have everything. Market down for noise but know lots of tables no problems as we have been before.

Exceptional service from the moment we walked through the door. I had mentioned my gluten intolerance when I booked the table and a gluten free menu was waiting for me. Excellent chices on the menu. Our food was delicious. Enjoyed the complimentary filtered water served at the table. We will definitely return.

Starter was delicious, but the main course was cold. Service was so slow and had to wait ages between courses. We were given a bottle of water that was warm and clearly taken off a table and put on ours without refilling. meant to be a special lunch and it was mediocre
