I’ve eaten here a couple of years ago and enjoyed the atmosphere and service in particular( as well as the food!) Took my elderly mother in law and a close friend of hers for lunch. They thoroughly enjoyed it as did I and have made a note of it to visit again. All very nice again, would highly recommend the rhubarb martini!!

We were monthly customers before Covid. Today was our first visit since Lockdown. We felt completely safe. The food didnt disappoint us, staff were wonderful. Thank you for making our experience a happy one. We will be returning very soon

Pricy at £75 for two, in my opinion, for what we had. Shared starter, mains each, 1 side and 2 glasses of wine. Staff were professional though. Made an error as didn't recognise the champagne rhubarb cocktail offer initially, then realised and very apologetic. No issue. It was sorted. Won't rush back as better food for value in my town to visit.

Very enjoyable overall. food well-cooked and staff very friendly and attentive. Only negative - 12.5 % service charge automatically included on top when we don't recall this being on the menu. We couldn't check as menu had been (understandably) removed. also, not keen on outdoor heaters on a balmy evening. Still, nice night out....

Me and my wife have always had a lovely food here and today was no exception. Lush food, excellent service and lovely atmosphere.. What more could you ask for from a restaurant.

Not as good as before lockdown. Three of us wanted mussels none available. I ordered a burger it was overcooked for my taste and I told the waiter after we had finished our meal. I don’t like sending things back as you end up eating on your own as everyone else has finished. One person ordered a steak and fritters it looked so boring just a piece of meat on the plate not even a bit of parsley or any greenery. We eat at Côte in Shrewsbury regularly since you opened and I asked the waitress why you special 2 course menus weren’t available she replied Covid which we knew would be the answer. I don’t agree that this would make any difference you can still only have a certain number of people in the restaurant so you know how many meals will be needed if you are at maximum capacity.. We all think it is Côte trying to claw money back but you only pay 5% Vat at present which you do not pass on to the customer which I do not object to. We won’t rush to come back to our two or three times a month visit unless you start to put your special two course menus back on..

I need to start off by saying that the restaurant in Shrewsbury wasn't our first choice when we booked by net but I'm glad to say it will be from now on. What a great restaurant your Shrewsbury branch is. Right from walking through the front door to leaving very satisfied the service we received was first class and I would say 5 star service. The food was amazing and the service from various staff was matching. Thank you for a very memorable evening.

Cote never fails! I am so happy to be able to visit my favourite restaurant once more! My brunch was delicious and the staff went over and beyond to accommodate our requests! I can't wait to return.

Beautiful sunny day, sat outside with complimentary rhubarb martini followed by an excellent 2 course meal. Service excellent and absent mindedly !left my phone but looked after by our waiter on my return to collect it. Can't fault it.

Staff were great and we had a lovely meal. Service was excellent with a very good menu & lots of choice. We really enjoyed our evening and are looking forward to going back.

We had a lovely brunch and thoroughly enjoyed our experience many thanks to the staff .

Staff were very accommodating as we had a party member joining us later in the meal. We also requested a separate transaction for some of the drinks which they happily obliged. The social distancing was excellent and you never felt compromised. We had a good selection to choose from on the menu. The waiting staff all had visors to serve the customers in line with COVID regulations. We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere,especially Dad who had not been to a restaurant for months.

Would have been a lovely if expensive lunch but the half griddled chicken was raw in the middle the staff were nice but they did not admit it was raw as the chicken is meant to be pink however by the bone it was a livid red and a raw texture and bleeding in both my friends dish and mine I have had this dish many times in the past and it has never been like this , in addition the skin was flabby I would of made more of a fuss at the time but I was taking a friend who has helped me during lockdown out in addition to this it was my 1 st trip to a restraunt since lockdown as I’m in an extremely vulnerable category. The staff gave us our two glasses of wine free but it didn’t really recompense and I couldn’t say anything at the time , I won’t be returning it’s too expensive mistake as well as an utter disappointment

Last time I had a croque monsieur for breakfast was in Paris years ago, Cote's was every bit as good. Great service as usual.

Possibly the friendliest and most thoughtful staff I’ve ever met! We were celebrating my parents 53rd wedding anniversary and the 3 of us were treated to a complimentary Kir Royale AND our complimentary Rhubarb Martini! The food was divine and the martini was to die for. My parents couldn’t stop smiling and felt like royalty. Cannot wait to return the Shrewsbury Cote is an absolute gem thank you x

My first time eating out since the lockdown and it was very enjoyable. Felt very safe and comfortable. Lovely atmosphere and the service from our waiter was excellent. Will definitely be booking again

Almost full marks to the team Cote Shrewsbury - careful but friendly service of very good food. Tables have been removed and spaced out inside, with more tables added outside, hygiene is clearly taken seriously throughout. All we ate achieved the high standards we expect (after a dozen visits since original opening). Desserts here (choc mousse, creme caramel) are particularly special. I'd allowed myself to hope for lamb chops though, to be told on arrival (1930) that they and two other mains were sold out - that's a significant fraction of a slightly reduced menu, so logistics need some attention?....

Food and wine lovelly. Really good service too. And thankyou for allowing us to have a table before our reservation time.

My wife and I had a lovely 3 course lunch from the Al Carte menu, everything was very nice, and the service was excellent, all the staff in this Cote are very friendly and it is a very clean and smart looking place. Top marks !!

This is a lovely restaurant in a great location. Very consistent like the other Cote Restaurants I use. The service was friendly and there is plenty of outdoor seating.

Food as always very good! We originally booked a table for 6 persons for Brunch on Sunday and subsequently one extra person wanted to join but l was told on Saturday night that it would not be possible as the restaurant was going to be busy. So l asked for two separate tables and was told that because they were expecting lots of people they couldn't guarantee that we would even be in the same part of the restaurant. However, when we turned up on Sunday morning, by this time only 3 of us as part of our group dropped out because the extra person couldn't be accomodated, to our great disappointment the restaurant was only a third full and a whole section had no one sitting in it at all! Staff must have known on Saturday night that there were plenty of tables available to accommodate an extra person and it quite spoilt our Sunday brunch to think we could have had a lovely family brunsch after all!
