Service extremely poor. Food ok but no set menu as there normally is. Eaten here on several occasions but today the service was shocking! Had to ask for menu with a champagne list on ( we were celebrating). Waiter rude and unhelpful, frequently ignoring us and not clearing tables in between nibbles and main, No finger bowl / wipe after moules. The lady at front of house was good and kindly took nibbles off our bill. Wouldn’t rush back after this visit

Very first time we have tried this restaurant and wasn’t disappointed. Starter was very nice, main was nice, but too rich for me and had fondant for dessert and that was lovely! Had some wine all of which was very nice and at a reasonable price. Staff were extremely friendly and will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.

The cheese was strong but the meal was stronger. Cheese blew my head off, but the meal blue my head off. Great evening, not so great cheese, everything else top notch. Top notch. Top top top notch. Can’t fault it.

What a lovely spacious and safe place to meet up with all appropriate safety measures in place. Not to mention a great extensive menu. We went for the Light Bites options and they were tasty and generous in proportions! We will be back!

Excellent service, excellent food as always. My wife and I often go to the Cote in Shrewsbury for lunch, it is also a lovely place to just pop in and have a coffee and a dessert !! unlike some other restaurants they are flexible with what you want and do not give you a funny look if you just fancy an afternoon dessert and a coffee. The menu is very varied and also changes every month with new specials, all the staff are very friendly, nothing negative at all about this restaurant, and they have also coped well with the current covid situation.

Good was spot on, service was brilliant, couldn't obviously see the smile but could tell it was done with a smile 😊 Sadly no complimentary fig cocktails, had a rhubarb one as suggested instead thinking it was complimentary but sadly discovered it wasn't when got the bill, still lovely though

We always enjoy visiting Cote Brasseries locations and this one has to be amongst the best so far. The staff are charming and helpful and the food is of super quality. In these difficult times our brief but thoroughly enjoyable lunch time visit was outstanding.

Very secure environment observing strict Covid rules. I was able to move tables with ease to suit my requirements. I enjoyed a delicious meal and cocktail from the October special menu. The staff were attentive, engaging and very polite, a real highlight of my day to have eaten here.

An excellent meal, almost faultless. Excellent service and food. The chateaubriand was fantastic. The only fault was a limp salad going brown at the edges.

Staff gracious and attentive as always. It was like being back at ‘old’ Cote. Sure measures were in place and staff wore masks but it didn’t spoil the experience .
