Lovely decor the staff are very helpfull and always had a smile. The food was great and a good selection on the menu. Would highly recommend.

Delicious food, excellent service. Cote is my favourite WGC restaurant and our experience last night confirmed this. We had the specials of the day and were very happy with this choice. So pleased that Cote has come to town.

The set lunch menu was very good value for money. The restaurant was rather quiet, so it lacked its usual atmosphere. Service was attentive as usual.

Great service good atmosphere unfortunately on this occasion frites were not at normal temperature ( a rare occurrence). Otherwise a 6. We choose from the specials and were not disappointed excellent.

The quality of the food is excellent backed up by great staff for who nothing is too much trouble. Very friendly atmosphere and whilst not cheap, was still good value for money and very enjoyable.

Service was intermittent,some of the food wasn't very hot.Wwe waited ages for our cheese to go with our already late bread.Free cold tap water was a nice gesture though.

The food was great, the atmosphere was buzzing but the team seemed under-strength. It did appear that you were understaffed. We had a long wait for dessert & the bill at the end of the evening

We enjoyed the food but the service was a bit slow (we'd booked for 6pm on a Saturday) but otherwise we had a good evening.

Lovely venue on a bright Sunday mother's day morning, by the windows. Kids very happy with croissants, pan chocolat and scrambled eggs. Mum very pleased with her glass of bubbly and Eggs Royale. Dad happy everyone else is happy!

Dined at Welwyn Garden City branch a few times. Seemed to be a bit short staffed today. However once our order was taken, our food was served quickly. The steak frites & seafood linguine were good.

5 people - 3 wanted Calamari starters but told none left ! 2 wanted Cote Burgers for Main meal, 2 wanted Pork Belly - again told none left !! Not happy ! This was a Birthday celebration and disappointing.

Very welcoming and found the birthday kirs a nice touch. All dishes were very good indeed and waiting staff efficient and friendly. Will certainly be back!

Staff were exceptionally attentive. It was a very busy evening due to Mother's Day, however they managed to serve us in reasonable time. Food is a bit pricey.

Good pleasant service. Food was enjoyable and appropriately priced. Children's meals were brought very promptly which was good ,but we got the feeling that maybe Cote was rather short staffed; our waiter seemed to be extremely busy. Although the service was good we think 12.5% is a lot, especially for families, as we were. Suggestion---what about supplying cutlery for small children, as we had forgotten to take ours?

We had a leaving lunch for a colleague. I booked here on the basis of a good experience I had had at another of this company's previously. It didn't disappoint- really good food, pleasant staff and nice surroundings. Will visit again.

Lovely meal and service as always. Only upset was that we had booked an upper window seat for18.00 and it had been given to someone else. As we go at least twice a month, this was dissapointing. Wont stop us going to our No. 1 place though!

Great food and atmosphere and the main thing was the mother in the family was happy. As they say happy wife, happy life. Will be coming back as there is one of these opening in our home town.

We booked late and still managed to get a table in the evening on Mother's Day. The food was delicious,we ordered confit of duck and fish pie. The Service was a bit slow, but the staff have had a busy day, starting with champagne brunches.

Cote Brasserie - Welwyn Garden City is in a great town centre location with lovely views of Parkway and Coronation Fountain. The weekday set price menu is very good value and is an affordable treat. The menu is changed regularly which tempts you back more often! Service is generally good although it can be slow when the restaurant is busy.

If you like no nonsense French cuisine in a relaxed setting, Cote offers good food, good service and good value. The Set Lunch and Early evening menu is a great and inexpensive way to get a taste of this but the a la carte menu is also excellent and by no means over priced. The wine list has a good selection including a range of wines by the glass to complement your choice from the menu. All of this is enhanced by the well trained, courteous and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Good food, polite, pleasant staff. An issue with the desserts was quickly sorted by the manager. Early bird offers make for a great value meal. Our favourite restaurant in the area.

Brilliant food excellent and so were the staff.had the full cooked breakfast and a glass of champagne. My husband had the French breakfast and my sons chose different breakfasts all great.

After main course all servers vanished and we wanted to order dessert but as we couldn't see our waitress ( she had gone on her break ) and no other server was around we just paid the bill and left I come here regularly sometimes 3 or more times a week mainly for breakfast and always have enjoyed the experience but today was not good 👎

We enjoyed a lovely meal in super surroundings enhanced when the bi folding doors were opened to let in the Dpring sunshine! The waiting staff were excellent and couldn't do enough to help us and make our meal really relaxing.

Nice food but they forgot our main so had to wait longer than we wanted to but we would definitely go again. Price was reasonable.

We went here for breakfast on Monther's Day - it was fairly busy and the food was fantastic but the service was not as good as usual (not very attentive and very unhappy waitress).

Super lunch today at Cote Welwyn The prawn gratinee and charcuterie board were both delicious starters and the fillet steak and frites super quality The bernaise.sauce at Cote is the best ever and the frozen berry dessert is so refreshing with a hint of sweetness with the white chocolate sauce The service was first class too Well done Cote Welwyn for getting it right

Waiters are very attentive and friendly, the restaurant is very good with allergies, and the food is delicious, I would definitely recommend this chain, as ive eaten in both the exeter and welwyn garden city restaurants.

Excellent food. Sevice good if a little slow today, but they were very busy. Like the fact that water is always served and free. Also great cotton napkins and not those horrible thin paper ones.

The service was friendly and efficient. I think in future i'll stick to the steak frites, my son had it this time and it's always good. I had the haddock with lentils and this may seem like a weird complaint, but there was just too much lentil. A little less and maybe with some finely chopped carrots, celery or tomato through them and it would have made for a tastier less stodgy dish.

The food was very good indeed, the nice ambience, good atmosphere but the only downside was that service was very slow and the bill was incorrect. This was changed after we checked it and pointed this out to the server.

Very good value three course lunchtime menu with delicious food. Also very good service in an attractive restaurant in the centre of Welwyn Garden City. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

Great little restaurant. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. We have been a few times and the food is of a good standard. Set menu is excellent value and the a la carte is not too expensive. Always find something we would actually like to eat and never been disappointed. A lot better than some of the chain restaurants.
