Great food & friendly service would definitely recommend it. Nice restaurant area and a varied menu which catered for wheat allergy and also vegetarian options.

Another lovely meal at Cote, celebrating several family birthdays. The staff are always very welcoming, the service is great and the food delicious- especially the creme caramel!

All 6 (two kids) of us really enjoyed the flavoursome French style cooking, we have come to expect at Cote Welwyn Garden. My black pudding starter was brilliant. That said, my Steak Frites was tough as old boots, which is a first for this normally reliable restaurant. Half a chicken arrived quickly to replace my steak, and my main course disappeared from the bill. Good customer service when the wheels come off! A chain restaurant perhaps, but consistently (nearly!) excellent food, with very good service. We will be back.

Busy. But staff v attentive. Good food. Gets very loud when busy so not the place for a quiet meal. But we had a pleasant evening.

Six of us had the Fantastic fillet steak - the quality was outstanding, the carrots were very tasty - good service and not too pricey- I would definitely recommend this place

We came here for my wife's birthday and we couldn't have asked for a better experience . The food was fantastic and staff very friendly. We can't wait to go again.

Great atmosphere, very tasty food and very pleasant staff. Only problems were: no blind on window to block Sun in eyes - had to move seats, glasses all had water marks and smears, my Dad's T-bone steak was small and a bit tough. Overall very happy and enjoyed our evening.

Excellent food, polite attentive staff. My wife and I go there Sundays for breakfast and it has now become a ritual. Would not change a single thing.

Set price meal are good value for money. The atmosphere was pleasant and even on a busy evening service was good. Enjoyable meal in pleasant surroundings.

We were a group of 7 and we all eat from the early evening set menu and everybody enjoyed their food and the service was very good and the price reasonable . We would definitely eat there again.

This is a special place for us to go. You pay more than in the usual chains but it is worth it for a special occasion. The service and the food are wonderful. It is not great for vegetarians but it is great if you need to be gluten free.

Absolutely lovely tasty food and wine. Great attentive professional service, we ordered both off the a la Carte and set three course menu, both were generous portions, very enjoyable evening, better not forget to mention had great company as well

Amazing service, lovely food and great atmosphere. We went on a busy Saturday night and found the team there to be extremely attentive and on the ball, especially considering how full the restaurant was.

The restaurant was busy but still had to wait just to give our order. Took over an hour after we arrived just to get our starters. Then another long wait for the main course and pudding. One of our orders for main course had run out before we were served but later saw the same meal was served to someone on another table who came in after us. Then we were told one of the puddings had run out so could we order something else which we did, then the original pudding turned up. The food was good but drinks were expensive. Be prepared for a long wait for your meal, shall not be going back in a hurry.

Good service and delicious lunch. All served within the required timeframe I had (working lunch). Asparagus starter was especially good. Friend had couscous and she really enjoyed that- filling and healthy.

Overall the restaurant was very pleasing. However I think that to restrict the free wine to the a la cartemenu was a little mean. Perhaps a free glass of wine may be appropriate!

Very busy Saturday evening had to ask for our drink order and our food order to be taken. However the food was excellent maybe more staff needed in busy evenings

The food was great. Ordered from the specials menu, the lamb and the sea bass were both exquisite. The kids had steak and they disappeared very quickly!

I did not enjoy my visit as much as I have in the past. We were seated at a table near the window in hot sunshine, and near several very noisy groups of young people, so we could hardly hear ourselves speaking. The food was as good as always.

Overall a fairly good supper. Perhaps the staff could have been rather better trained. Will return as I know it is usually very good at this location although I tend to eat at others too.

Staff are always attentive and efficient. whether it be morning breakfast or evening meal, food is always excellent, and the restaurants is in a pleasant location.

The quality of the food is excellent backed up by great staff for who nothing is too much trouble. Very friendly atmosphere and whilst not cheap, was still good value for money and very enjoyable.

Lovely, relaxed early evening dinner straight from work - we all took advantage of the scrumptious, excellent value set menu that is available up to 7pm. The restaurant had a lively atmosphere for a Tuesday evening. Will definitely return soon.

Service was intermittent,some of the food wasn't very hot.Wwe waited ages for our cheese to go with our already late bread.Free cold tap water was a nice gesture though.

We enjoyed the food but the service was a bit slow (we'd booked for 6pm on a Saturday) but otherwise we had a good evening.

Our visit was an excellent experience and we were welcomed and served by attentive and friendly staff. The food was excellent and you have offer a good choice of menu and, as I am coeliac, I appreciate the gluten free menu. We have eaten twice at another Cote in London but this was our first visit to Welwyn Garden City Cote. We will be back. Thank you.

The food was great, the atmosphere was buzzing but the team seemed under-strength. It did appear that you were understaffed. We had a long wait for dessert & the bill at the end of the evening

Sunny warm day and we were able to sit inside but with the wonderful French doors wide open, for a moment you could imagine we were not in Welwyn but somewhere by the med! Staff are so friendly and attentive and the food simply delicious.
