Thank goodness Cote at WGC has finally opened - we have missed you!!! We had a lovely lunch and everything was perfect as expected. Our waiting staff were great and doing a very slick job despite a lot of new staff, new regulations etc. The food was just as hoped - very tasty and not overloaded with carbs or fat. The speed of service was just right too. The tables were well spaced out and we felt comfortable that we were not 'at risk' from neighbouring guests. Well done all at WGC!

Very nice meal, however the service was slow and there was a mixup with our bill and that of another table which took too long to solve.

Service was really poor. I stood at the door for 5 minutes waiting to be acknowledged, we were then told we would need to sit upstairs even though I noted on my booking we would have a pushchair. The woman who allocated our table was pretty rude. We then had to ask for our order to be taken. Food was nice but I wouldn't go back due to the poor service.

Whichever branch of Côte Brasserie I go to, I can always rely on the standard of food which is always good and customer service which is very high. My favourite dish is the Minute Steak and fries. This is the only restaurant where I have the same dish every time I go. That’s because I enjoy it so much! It’s a tricky dish to get right as it is a thin steak and meant to be served pink. A couple of times my steak has been a fraction over-cooked and not pink. However staff are very quick to apologise and replace it for one cooked to perfection. Also, without me asking, I have been offered money off my bill for the inconvenience.

We were warmly welcomed and served by a very friendly and helpful young waiter. Food was excellent and restaurant was ambient and comfortable. We shall return.

Great food, lots of staff. Great wine choice. Early evening so very quiet, but that made the service quick. Reasonably good value for money with the early dine menu.

Cote is our favourite chain restaurant. The food is delicious and there is something on the menu for everyone to enjoy. Highly recommended Cote fantastic service and atmosphere.

Excellent meal and service as always. It was a little bit noisy and hard to hold a conversation but that's to be expected on a Friday evening when it's busy and everyone is enjoying themselves!!

Our favourite restaurant did not disappoint. Consistently good food, service and ambience. The staff are attentive and professional. We had the French onion soup (delicious and filling) followed by excellent rib eye steaks with their signature thin chips.

It was busy as it was Valentine's Day but the food was still delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed all the courses of our meal. The team though busy were very attentive. Thanks for a great evening!

Breakfast today was really tasty but the eggs florentine for a hot dish were a bit cold. Service was fantastic. Had dinner last week and the swordfish was the best ever!!

As always there service and food was excellent, new waiter Bart was excellent, he is trying his best to provide the best service for the customer.

Lovely relaxing evening, great food, service and atmosphere. The complimentary cocktail was delicious as was the sourdough bread, steak and chicken. The staff too good care of us and we will definitely go back.

Partook of the April early evening Menu . Superb tomato soup, wife had ratatouille also excellent. Haddock and boeuf main courses fantastic taste and value. Will be back for more.

Absolutely fantastic as always food was cooked to a high standard we needed to make adjustments to our booking and the manager was fantastic in accommodating our needs. Our waiter who i believe was called Andrew was absolutely amazing can’t fault him in anyway offered to replace the food my nephew had knocked on the floor tried his best when they had ran out of a specific juice. The only fault i had was that we were waiting over an hour for our meals and when we asked one of the managers he just disappeared and never came back so had to ask again which wasn’t nice but when the food did arrive it was lovely so a big shout out to the chefs who have probably not stopped all day :)

We chose Cote Welwyn Garden City to celebrate our 55th wedding anniversary last night. Our occasion was treated as special by your staff right from the moment we arrived. Your chefs are to be congratulated on the high quality of the food we enjoyed last night. I would also like to mention that earlier in the day with a group of friends for the first time chose Cote WGC for our regular every 6 week breakfast get together. My full English breakfast could not have been cooked better, we were looked after so very well and we have already booked again for our next breakfast get together. My wife and I have also decided that Cote tops our list of WGC restaurants so we have no hesitation in recommending it to others for its high quality for both food and hospitality.

Loved the free rhubarb cocktails and the soft music and peace/quiet of a early evening meal.

Food was tasty and piping hot. Very friendly and efficient service.

Cote never lets us down, good food, excellent value for money and friendly staff who don’t rush you! We had 2 courses, soft drinks, coffee total bill including service £20 each. Normally we have a couple of bottles of wine and a cocktail but this time we were all driving.

As always, the food and service was excellent. This is by far my favourite restaurant in Welwyn Garden City.

excellent food. overpriced for the area but just about worth the extra. consistent with the London restaurants in the same chain. will return again soon hopefully.
