Fabulous food and excellent service. We will definitely be returning.

The food and atmosphere at Cote is wonderful as are the staff. The only criticism is that it can get a bit noisy in the upstairs when busy as the noise seems to reverberate around the room. It won't stop us going there and is only noticeable when there are only two of us.

Delicious food, great service and reasonable prices, Cote is a firm favourite with us. They have a superb menu with something for everyone, plus a wonderful ambience. It's always a pleasure.

Nice meal and good service. Pity the cod goujons are not still on the menu. Please can you get a handrail on those steps my father in law stumbled and was saved by a tourist! I was there of course but couldn’t take his weight. He’s 94 and loves your restaurant!

I have eaten at Cote on Winchester many times but this was one of the best meals ever. The courgette starter was new and delicious.

6 of us met up for a family lunch and all were very pleased with the quality and service. The staff were amazing. My wife & I use Côte a lot. The other 4 were 1st timers. They will definitely use Côte again. May or may not be Winchester but certainly recommend it. Just brilliant.

Excellent choice of menus with just the right combination of Starters, Main course, and Desserts.we also enjoyed a great House Red...served at the right temperature.great evening.

Met a colleague at the Winchester restaurant for a working breakfast, great city centre location, choice of food, service and ambience, Coffee was excellent too, a lovely way to start the day, I will definitely go back.

Great food and friendly staff. It would be helpful if staff could check with the kitchen and let people know at the start which items are unavailable on the menu. We chose 2 unavailable dishes!! However there was plenty of choice, so we easily found an alternative. We will definitely return.

Cheerful and welcoming staff, good food, reasonably priced, nice atmosphere. A big shout out for the manageress - a sassy, smiling and friendly lady, with very good customer service.

4 party table - 3 of which had the duck, all of which were cold. Didn't have the opportunity to raise this as a problem. Ordered 4 desserts, one of which was creme brûlée, of which 70% was caramelised. Asked for the entire topping to be caramelised - met with a huff and a puff. Overall we enjoy coming here but it was a disappointing experience.

Nice food (although could have been warmer). Restaurant was very cold - we were half a degree from having to wear our coats. Didn’t like the automatic addition of 12.5% service charge. Put me right off and consequently didn’t leave a tip at all on principle. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend the restaurant with caveats

We like Cote restaurants & Winchester has a really nice one. There were a couple of hiccups last night but the friendly efficient staff put it right. Had breakfast there yesterday also again very pleasant. Will definitely be back when we are this way again

Cote always delivers. There is a good range of dishes available of an always excellent quality. The various deals available mean you don’t have to spend a fortune either, although the main menu is not that expensive either. On this occasion, in Winchester, the service was excellent - as it always is - with no delays - with just the right atmosphere. If I looked for a criticism, then perhaps a wider range of desserts would be nice, but frankly I can usually find something from what is available. My experience in Cote Winchester means I will be back there again soon, and am happy to eat at any Cote Brasserie when the opportunity arises.

Sword fish was requested rare but arrived over cooked. How was this possible?? Normally I eat at Brasserie Blanc and I would think twice before eating here again.

Lovely food and very good service. Good ambiance and recommended wine was perfect. The missing ingredient was mint sauce to go with my lamb which was the second time I had ordered lamb to be advised that because the French don't have mint sauce with lamb they don't serve it. We are in England! Suggest you purchase some! They tell me they get asked for it all the time. Otherwise my review would have had another star!

Most enjoyable meal served by very friendly efficient staff. The duck and rib eye steak were very tasty followed by a delicious chocolate mousse . All accompanied with fantastic wines.

Winchester Cote as usual didn't disappoint. The four of us thoroughly enjoyed our ,meal, the ambience and the excellent service. Don't change anything at all.

Cote Brasserie is by far the best chain restaurant group unless the restaurant at Winchester is better than the others. I dine there often and the food and service cannot be improved

As always we enjoyed our food. The staff and the service is outstanding - it is a shame about the noise levels, but you can't have everything!

Lovely breakfast, good service. Only negative the bacon baguette was a little over crispy - maybe untoaasted baguette would be better? Need to put butter on the baguette as well.

Great meal excellent service good atmosphere. My daughter is coeliac and we could not fault the way she was looked after. The manager made sure the choices were correct and then made sure they were delivered to the table, nothing was too much trouble. If you are coeliac you should go here to eat as you can do so with confidence.

Choice of food was varied and extensive. I had Mussels followed by Bretton Chicken which was excellent. The service was professional without being intrusive. Overall a very pleasant lunch experience

Absolutely amazing, the lady who greeted and served us was lovely, kind and efficient and put my mind at ease. I had been rushing and worrying trying to get there on time and as soon as I got there all my worries went away. Thank you so much for letting us have such a special evening.

The quality of food is consistently outstanding, we travel 30 miles regularly to this Cote as we know we won’t be disappointed. The staff are always helpful and attentive and the ambience just right.

Our evening was as lovely as usual. The food was excellent, the rhubarb martinis were fabulous and our waiter was exceptional. Another wonderful evening.

We love eating at Cotes Winchester and probably eat there once a month. The service is always great and the food superb. We were a little disappointed during this visit as some of the breakfast items weren't available, but otherwise a very pleasant visit
