Great place with great food and a lovely atmosphere

Just couldn’t have been better. Great food from beginning to end (typically French as hoped for) and outstanding friendly service. Price slightly on the high side but didn’t detract at all from a really nice evening. We had booked and arrived just as the staff were having to deal with a difficult customer worse for drink. They picked us up and manoeuvred us around to our table - very well done. We will certainly be back.

Food was lovely...how ever I felt the restaurant was not accommodating for my 1 year old baby.

We enjoy our meals every time we dine at Cotes which we do on a regular basis. We like Windsor because of the pleasant atmosphere. John & Norma. Maidenhead.

I can honestly say that I have had the worst dining experience! Poor service, 20mins before anyone came to take a drinks order, while we could see that other tables were being served. Then waiter returned to ask what drinks we had ordered. A further 40 mins before our starter arrived, mine was good, my friends was disappointing. Dirty plates were not removed for another 15mins, so an hour into our meal no mains had arrived at which point we decided to leave. I’m a chilled person and on such a lovely sunny day in no particular rush but the staffs blatant inability to perform their tasks left us very frustrated, and disappointed. We were celebrating a birthday and looking forward to our meal. The level of service was poor, attentiveness and professionalism of staff was poor. I can only repeat that it was very disappointing!!

Cote Windsor is one of our favourite Cote restaurants and we do go to many Cotes!Today was as good as ever, exceptional food and service and a lovely table overlooking the river

Lovely position over looking the Thames. Helpful and efficient staff. Menu caters for my specific diet - gluten free and vegetarian. I like the separate menus for vegetarian and gluten free. Would love to see a eg gluten free crumble on the desert list. Too much cream, chocolate etc items on the GF desert menu, for GF customers with cholesterol issues.

It was not a good experience, there were to Many people crowded in , we were offered one table with a massive metal pole between two of the chairs and the only other option was a round table which was to small for 5 people but I was told there was no other option . This made eating difficult and the table kept having to be cleared to make room . Toast was burnt and the breakfast was luke warm , fried eggs were broken and didn’t look fresh .Very noise from cups and glasses being put away , staff run off their feet - Overall disappointing. I didn’t complain as my children just said leave it . I have always enjoyed Cotes but will now consider not going back .

This was a celebration evening for a group of eight of us & it could not of been improved in any way. The ambience & service helped to make it very memorable evening.

As usual everything was perfect - especially the service from Adel. It was lovely to be able to sit outside for the first time this year.

Very ordinary and certainly nothing special except for the view of the river. And why ever would a quality restaurant decide to bring a sauce bottle to the table rather than put sauce into a small dish???

I love dining at Côte in Eton. Very cosy athmosphere. The staff are always sooooo polite and accomodating and I have never been disappointed by the quality of food !!!

A lovely relaxing lunch sat outside watching the river life!

It took between 15 and 20 mins before anyone even took our drinks order or even offer water. Several parties that sat after us were served their dishes before we did. I asked for a salad with no onions and it was full of onions. My steak was near raw when I asked for medium rare. The sea bass and chicken salad was tasteless. Our server seemed overwhelmed by her job and we appeared to be a burden to her. The manager did make an attempt to make amends. Other than that the view was beautiful. We have had good meals in the past. Unfortunately, the last two times have had very poor service.

I have been to Cotes in Windsor many times and I have never been disappointed. Whether it’s for lunch,late lunch or an evening meal.the food is always of a very high standard and well presented. Staff are polite, efficient and professional at all times. I could not rate this restaurant high enough.

From the moment we arrived the service was impeccable. We had three courses and every one was as delicious as the other. The flavours were incredible. Really good value for money!!

Up to the usual high standard combined with wonderful view across the river to the castle, what could better it?

Last night we wanted the set menu for our family meal. It was my sons birthday and mothers day. We have been to several Cote restaurants before and always been pleased with the food and service. As at least two of the starters weren't available (Calamari and Roquefort Salad) so we ended up going a la carte. If you offer a set menu you should ensure that you have enough to cover busy days especially if people have booked. When I ordered my favourite dessert crème brulee you didn't have that either. The bill then was a lot more expensive which we could have lived with if the food and service had been good. The service was very slow, an hour to get our starters and then plates weren't cleared promptly. The waiter was courteous , however, the price we paid doesn't represent the service and food. I have been to Windsor Cote before, Farnham, Guildford, London and Weybridge and can honestly say last night was by far my worst visit. I began to think we would have been better cooking at home. It wasn't the dining experience we expected. Just a very disappointing visit.

A lovely Sunday birthday lunch overlooking the Thames and Windsor castle. Very good food and excellent service. A good relaxed atmosphere in a smart restaurant. Highly recommended.

We had a really delicious meal here on Valentines day. The service was very friendly and efficient. Finally, the location of Cote right on the River Thames with a view of the Castle is unbeatable .

Excellent quality, good food. Always consistent high standard with monthly changing menus. We always look out for Cote restaurants wherever we travel knowing we will be well eat well and be looked after.

The staff were very helpful and we had good service. Although I enjoyed my meal, I had salmon, new potatoes and asparagus, the portion was tiny. A very thin piece of salmons and 3 very small new potato’s, the asparagus was an ok portion. My friend had the pork belly which was a decent sized portion.

Once again every thing was very good,always consistent,a nice place to go to with great views over the castle and river .staff are always attentive

Lunch at Cote was very enjoyable today. Service was brilliant - and fast. The three of us thought our meals were delicious too. We also loved the G&T cocktails on arrival - a very nice touch. We will certainly be back again. Cote in Windsor is perfectly located, with lovely views.

We had a lovely Family catch up with deliciously food. I have been many times before and as it’s always lovely food and fantastic service thought I would organise a family get together for brunch. They were all very impressed and will definately be re dining here again.

We had a lovely brunch on the riverside. Our waiter, (Kevin, I think) was friendly and efficient and the food was delicious. Cote is the perfect spot to watch the action on the river.

Great location, lovely food, perfect service. I booked on line, requested a table with a river view and a glass of bubbles on the table for our arrival. All was executed perfectly. A river view table wasn’t available immediately but we were offered to option to wait 10 mins. We did and the perfect table, replete with bubbles was waiting for us. Brilliant job!

As usual, a great culinary experience at Cote Brasserie, Windsor. Good food, excellent service and a great ambience not to mention the view!

Our waiter was excellent, he knew all the wines and was able to recommend which one to choose, he also knew the dishes on the menu. He was friendly and professional. An asset to your company.

Had a lovely evening at Cote Windsor for my birthday. The manager is super friendly and so were our waiters. Food was good and we got a free glass of fizz! will definitely be returning

I live in Windsor and have been to the restaurant many times. The food and service is consistently great and a lovely location as well.

Very good overall, service was good and polite, room was not noisy at all. Very well cooked food, great atmosphere all together was a very good evening .

Mostly very good, as usual. 3 of us had mussels (2 starters and a main). The sauce was fabulous but, with all 3, the mussels were overcooked and, therefore, stringy. And the service was considerably slower than normal, which the waiter apologised for without us mentioning it. Felt a bit sorry for him as people on another table withheld a tip when, we assume, he had no control on the speed food comes out of the kitchen.

Excellent food from a varied menu with dishes suitable for everyone. Booked a table online. Very welcoming upon arrival and good service throughout our meal. Set in a gorgeous location overlooking the River Thames

Food wine cocktails and service excellent. Great venue and scenery . Only complaint is the basic standard of toilets which seems to be the same at all Cote restaurants visited. As stated great time at each restaurant but please sort out toilets.

It’s probably the best Cote we have been to. Lovely place, great service - we were looked after well.
