Drinks were cold, food was late and service was even more slow than ever and forgotten about as a table. Considering was Father’s Days they should have more staff on who are willing to work to make the day special.

Great meal and very friendly staff would recommend to all my friends. Can not fault in any way. Going to Cote in Wokingham soon and hope for same experience.

As local residents of Windsor, its been quite a while since we ate in Cote because we weren't overly impressed. However, last night we chose to take a family group there and we were very impressed. The service was excellent from all staff members, the food was very good, nice hot plates and beautifully presented. An all roof lovely evening. We will definitely be back.

We are regulars at Cote Brasserie restaurants in various locations, and are never disappointed. Yesterday was no exception, the food was great and the staff welcoming and helpful, especially with our food allergies and intolerances.

Once again every thing was very good,always consistent,a nice place to go to with great views over the castle and river .staff are always attentive

We had a lovely Family catch up with deliciously food. I have been many times before and as it’s always lovely food and fantastic service thought I would organise a family get together for brunch. They were all very impressed and will definately be re dining here again.

The food was good, the service was appalling, the staff were not engaged with the customers, we had to wave and call several times for service. Not the usual great experience we normally receive. Very disappointing since it was a friends Birthday treat....:(

Shown to a table in a very noisy room Large groups using raised voices .A very echoey room and impossible to hold a conversation .We asked to be moved and were led around to other rooms where there were no free tables. Eventually we were placed in a quiet area near the front entrance .A bit draughty but quieter space .We met 3 other groups who had asked to be moved too . Service was excellent as usual

The food was very good, well cooked and well presented although a little slow in arriving. The staff were excellent, friendly and obliging but obviously very busy giving the impression they were understaffed. Also, in spite of my early notice in reserving a table overlooking the river we were told such a table was not available. An apology was made and a complimentary drink provided. However, a table was offered with partial river views which we accepted.

Very much enjoyed the meal, good quality food with excellent wines. Service was good with very pleasant staff but best was the lovely location right by Windsor bridge and views of the castle. Will be back love

Great service, it was my 30th bday and the waitress brought me over a glass of bucks fizz. Food was great and so was the company. Will definitely come again.

Had a really nice evening with my friend the restaurants I felt could do with a little bit of TLC and there was a very unpleasant smell when we walked in not that bad but it should be smelling of food nice

I thought that service was not as quite as efficient & attentive as other branches I have been to. seemed to be short of staff. Quite slow although food was very good.

A good table at a landmark branch.There were five in our party and we all enjoyed our afternoon. The overall value for money was good and standard of food was high (apart from a rather odd and rather cold side dish of peas).Service was discreet and efficient although as ever I prefer to offer my own reward at the end rather than the suggested service charge.

Very good service. The restaurant was incredibly busy and the staff were coping very well. Can’t help feeling a few more waiting staff would have helped, however I must stress the guys who were serving were great.

Went to vote Windsor for our anniversary dinner and from the moment we arrived, we were treated with a lovely table overlooking the river. We were treated to a complimentary glass of rose prosecco which was a lovely touch to our evening. We had the flatbread for starters and some of the special mains which were exquisite to taste. The flavours and the portion sizes were perfect and the service was swift and very friendly. Would Defoe recommend that when in Windsor, to dine here if you fancy really good food with a beautiful view of Windsor castle and the ri0ver, especially at sunset.

Friendly greeting on arrival, attentive service and great tasting food. A special birthday occasion enhanced with complimentary fizz- a lovely surprise. The situation of the restaurant is exemplary.

Lovely setting overlooking the river and Windsor castle. Excellent French food accompanied with delightful service.

The duck confir was overcoked and dry and should have been served with red cabbage rather than white. my friend's food was nice. The service was excellent.

Lovely restaurant and good service but very disappointed with cleanliness standards! My coffee cup had old lipstick marks on, the water glasses smelt like egg and the milk jug had a small bit of spinach floating in it! The food was alright I had a vegetarian breakfast, the poached eggs are very disappointing! I didn’t say anything when I was at the restaurant as I didn’t want to ruin the mood whilst I was with my friend but I was very disappointed! The restaurant and staff are lovely though.

We sat for a while before anyone took our order. Otherwise it was a nice breakfast and overall experience. Great value, great food, nice setting. Food came quickly. Difficult to find a shaded seat on a sunny day

It was a sunny day and the place was crowded. There were not enough staff to give good service, although they tried hard. Food was excellent.

I have always enjoyed eating at Cote Brasserie Windsor, but last night, whereas the food was of the usual high standard, the service was incredibly slow and the noise level was extremely high. Conversation between my guest and me required that we almost had to shout, this increasing the noise level.

The service is faultless, starters and desserts beautiful but mains I think over priced a steak dish should have some sort of vegetable accompliment when costing £20. Also the fries should be chips.

Lovely setting but unbearabley noisy. Needs carpet to deaden the sound.
