Côte Windsor Restaurant

Always wonderful food and good atmosphere and good value for money

We went to Côte in Windsor early evening. The view was lovely and the service brilliant. I have Coeliac Disease and the Gluten Free menu was brilliant and the food arrived carefully marked with a flag. The 5 of us had lovely meals and thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

Returning customers who feel that this restaurant is good value and has exceptional choice of food. Went back there on Saturday evening with 5 girl friends . Every table was full which is always a good sign and had a wonderful evening sitting downstairs looking out on the river.

As always the food is superb and cannot fault on service very friendly staff thank you!

The staff were attentive, the meal fantastic, but we were sitting next to the bar area and the crashing and banging of the crockery, glasses, etc spoiled our experience. A little more consideration by the staff would have really improved the experience.

Service was a bit slow. Obviously very busy this was probably due to Windsor Horse show being on.

Very congested when we arrived ,but that was 8.00pm saturday evening. Once seated prompt efficient service, except our drinks order appeared to be forgotten twice! And male waiter needed reminding twice! Food excellent and the female waitress who served us was charming and polite and attentive. Delicious food as always!

The service was exceptional as always Antonio from the kitchen service team was a star he took initiative to serve us when the waiters were busy. food was not so good chicken was very dry not enable and mussels were just shells very few with mussels in them. Understandable as it was mother's Day and the restaurant was full. Still the best place to dine in Windsor.

Food was excellent but the service was only average. Had to wait to be shown to table which I had reserved. Won't be going back in a hurry unfortunately.

Lovely place great food and service the only downside was the tables were too close to one another.

We love the location of this Cote. Perfect for dinner after a few hours in Windsor. The food, staff and service is always excellent! Very tight loos though!!

This is a wonderful spot for dining in Eton/Windsor. Two of us had brunch on a busy day. Great views were matched by attentive, smiling service and delicious food. Recommend.

Our table was not ready at the time we booked but otherwise excellent service. With great food and a fantastic location on the Riverside. Would go again

The vegetarian breakfast was an excellent selection of items, though we all opted for the meat sausage. Loved the Mother's Day breakfast menu more so than lunch options and overall it was a memorable experience.

Everything was awesome like ever, favourite duck especially. The atmosphere was really good. We happy as always. We will definitely come back once again. Thank you Cote

Disappointing, ahead to wait 20 mins to be sea Ted despite booking, then no ice bucket for our fizz, and then they forgot about one of starters, not our best experience of Vote.

For what should have been a fairly simple brunch meal, turned into a constant stream of "You've forgotten this" or "We're missing this (item)". Co-ordination seemed to be non-existent. We aren't unreasonable & appreciate that sometimes mistakes occur. But the place was not fully occupied, & you'd like to think a minimum level of service would be given. I also object to the fact that a service charge is automatically applied. This means we had to ask for it to be removed, because we didn't feel it was deserved. In this instance, I would have expected a senior member of staff to be concerned that a customer had withheld the service charge, with good reason. But nothing - just shrugged acceptance from the staff member that took our payment. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

The food was very nice, as always. However, the downstairs level was too noisy.

Not up to their usual standards! Food was great but the service was a bit haphazard: drinks were forgotten, promises to 'come back in a couple of minutes' turned into 20, plates of food were passed across guests. Not at all what we have come to expect from a restaurant that we have visited numerous times

Drinks were cold, food was late and service was even more slow than ever and forgotten about as a table. Considering was Father’s Days they should have more staff on who are willing to work to make the day special.

We booked a Late lunch, so had two los of servers, resulting in slight delay between courses. Lovely food, especially the crab bisque, and Breton chicken.

As always, we experienced a very efficient and friendly service by the staff in this Brasserie. Even though the restaurant was extremely busy during the Sunday lunch, the quality of food and the service didn't suffer. Will be back!

Excellent good food fantastic view service perfect sitting in the sun with a view of the castle and river - is there a better way to enjoy our ‘weekly lunch date’ as. Happy married couple - pure delight on a cold February Saturday mwah x

I had the worst experience l have ever had in a cote restaurant. I have been going to your Restaurants since they first opened. This one in Windsor with a wonderful setting in the evening should have been a wonderful evening with my husband. My steak had to be sent Back three times and was still badly cooked, resulting in my husband finishing his perfectly Cooked steak and me leaving with no food.

We had a lovely birthday meal down by the river at Windsor. Excellent waiting staff very helpful and friendly. Loved the rhubarb martini cocktail lovely touch. Food excellent.

I love Cotes, one of my favourite places to eat But unfortunately it wasn't last night , I ordered the fish pie and it was very dry and very very salty , looked to me as it had been left keeping warm until Someone ordered it ,the mashed potatoe topping was dry and crusty and the fish pie on a whole repeated on me for the rest of the evening :( Our waitress was very polite bit just left us to it and was about an hour after we finished our meal we had to asked for the bill , was a busy night

Very good food, delightful service and lovely atmosphere by the river! I would recommend Côte as a great place to eat and celebrate. Two words to meet the limit!

We were placed on a lovely table overlooking the river Thames.Service was very friendly and helpfull and food was also very good.Would like to go here again soon.

The restaurant was packed which was no surprise but staff pleasant and helpful as ever. Food great and good value.

Being valentines night it was expected to be a little busy in the restaurant. The food was good there service was good the shearing dessert was the highlight of the meal. Good value for money for the tree courses. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent service. The food good. The only thing that puts me off are those little bottles of Kronenberg in very ugly glasses. Would prefer draught larger. San Miguel larger in their nice stem glasses would be fantastic!

Front of house lady was extremely impolite to start the evening whilst the waitress was very attentive and helpful. Food was average compared with other occasions which was rather disappointing.

Lovely setting and food was tasty and hot but service was lacking - had to wait too long for the table despite having a booking and then ages for the food to come. We had brought guests from abroad so felt uncomfortable making them wait so long. The waiters were polite and attentive once we were served

Did not enjoy the quality of the food as much as we do at your Reading branch.

A very enjoyable evening - staff very attentive and accommodating as our guests were almost an hour late arriving. Food very good - although unfortunately there was a muddle up with the fillet steaks, staff very apologetic and produced a bottle of wine for us to enjoy and altered the bill at the end. All in all I would definitely recommend Cote in Windsor !!
