Côte Watford

Loved the new cote in Watford. It's about time Watford had such a lovely restaurant. The staff were fantastic! On entering the restaurant we we pleasantly addressed and shown to our table, which we had previously booked online. The food was fabulous, cooked to perfection and very good value for money. I would definitely go there again.

It’s a lovely restaurant, the food is great and the staff are brilliant. We have a toddler and they were very accommodating, it’s a family friendly restaurant.

Our first visit to this new Cote and we weren’t disappointed. The usual service and great standard of food. There was a small hiccup with our main dish but we were given a complimentary glass of wine which more than made up for the slight delay.

It got busy quite quickly and there was a delay in getting the final bill. Overall, food was good. A bit close together on the seating.

Easy to book on line. Excellent service, friendly staff, good food, reasonably priced. Would definitely visit again. Went for lunch but breakfast menu looks great too!! A**

Booked a table for two for 7.45 pm and arrived early at 6.55pm as we were very hungry. We were met at the door by one of the managers who was very pleasant and seated straight away. From that point it went completely downhill. In a nutshell we were totally ignored with an abundance of staff passing our table with absolutely no acknowledgment. Sadly after twenty five minutes of no staff contact, no drink, nothing, we decided to leave and find somewhere else to eat. The manager was very apologetic and tried to persuade us to stay but we were really very disappointed. We are local to Watford and were really looking forward to the opening of Cote having visited the chain on numerous occasions.

Party of 4 were booked, plus an 1 more at last notice. Very accommodating visit. Amazing breakfasts, excellent service and very as always a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. When we left, every staff member said goodbye. Very nice. Will always come for breakfast in future, as opposed to other local choices. Lovely food......can't wait to try dinner !!!!

Air conditioning was either too low or not working, as was very hot. Server very good, food very nice. Complementary drinks were initially charged on bill, had to ask to have them removed

Lovely meal at Cote Watford on Friday 1st March. Few teething problems to be expected when the restaurant is only been open since Monday! Sarah the GM fantastic and really looked after us. Would highly recommend as the food was amazing. Caroline

The staff are lovely; both attentive and friendly. Great atmosphere inside the brasserie and the noise level is not unbearable. The food good on the whole (although I had the poulet roti and found it to be quite dry).

This restaurant now goes on my “visit regularly” list. It is consistent in all aspects of quality, service and atmosphere. A fillet steak that is superior to the offerings of other established brands at that price range.

Excellent food and really hight level big customer service. Seabass was delicious and Duck was one of the best I have ever tried. Wine selection is also really good. Definitely recommend.

Chips tasted like they were from McDonalds and thought it was rude how the optional service charge was added to the bill and already put in the card machine when asked for ! As it’s optional the waiter she ask the customer if they thought the service was okay today and if they want to pay it! Not try and be cheeky and already put it in the card machine !

Excellent food ,drink and service, great atmosphere, definitely one of the best restaurants in Watford by a mile, will definitely be back. It’s about time that Watford had a really good restaurant in the high street.

Went to the new Cote in Watford on a Sunday at lunchtime for my mother's birthday. The service was excellent from the Host right through the waiting staff. The food was excellent and the recommendations spot on. They even offered a few extras on the house given the occasion which was a lovely touch. Would come again, would definitely recommend.

Food excellent. French onipn soup starter delicious. Messy toilets and no loo paper in one cubicle. And poor and sometimes clumsy service disappointing. Cannot fault the food so will go back.

Visited on Mother’s Day lunchtime and was satisfied with the service and ambiance of the restaurant. Food was nice but felt it was overpriced, would go again but for the money you pay I would expect a better experience.

Nice place and really nice food for great price. Hard to eat soup from weird dish shape. Also it would be nice to have bread in anion soup for little pieces. It was really hard to eat it. Overall good experience.

The service was impeccable, friendly, professional and staff who clearly enjoyed what they do. The menu is wide enough that you can make return visits without getting bored. The food was well presented and all of us enjoyed our meal. The wines are reasonably priced and the surroundings make for an overall very pleasant experience. We will be back again soon.

Lovely staff could not be more attentive(but not too much!) and so natural and relaxed making the experience a really nice evening - we will definitely be back. I also have never seen food arrive so fast at a French restaurant! Amazing efficiency a busy Friday night. Very buzzy, happy and chatty groups of patrons.

Food and service were excellent as always, however I booked under the deal with the French 75 cocktails and we didn’t get them. Bit disappointing. Didn’t want to say anything at the time as my husband didn’t know about the offer and I thought it would be a nice little treat on Easter Sunday. Won’t stop me going back.

We went for early dinner on a Monday and the range of food and offers available was wonderful. We had 2 courses each from special menu and the food was delicious. The only reason I didn’t give 6 stars was that the waiter forgot our water but other than that couldn’t fault the food and service. Our meal for the two of us cost just over £40 for 4 courses, a drink each and tip included. I wouldn’t definitely recommend

We enjoyed a fabulous brunch for mother’s day, and despite it being very busy the staff were attentive and made us feel really special. Wonderful food as always!

Lovely restaurant. Great food, great menu - lots of choice - the Poulet Grille was delicious. The service was brilliant - would highly recommend eating here.
