Cowshed - Liverpool

My fiancé got the fillet steak and he said it is up there with the best steak he has ever had. He loved it! The service was so friendly - our waitress (wish we remembered her name) was very lovely and helpful! I am a vegetarian and I got the cauliflower steak and the garlic mushrooms - everything was a bit too salty where I needed a lot of water and couldn’t finish it- the other flavours were amazing- just too much salt. Apart from that- we are recommending it to all our steak loving friends.

Food was gorgeous as always! The staff also can’t do enough for you - asked what our reason for going was and told them it was a late Valentine’s Day so she’s gave us each a shot at the end of the meal. Always love the atmosphere and the food never fails!

Had a lovely meal at The Cowshed. Started off with cajun pork croquettes and Haloumi bites, both came with dipping sauces. For mains we opted for the Greedy Cow for then both finished off with nutella cheesecake! All were delicious, service was attentive without being over bearing. Cost around £80 with drinks. Would definately recommend.

Back when I was a meat eater this place was a must, great value and great food

Really liked this place. We booked ahead which I suspect was a good move as it gets very busy. The lovely Georgian building has lots of character and because it's spread over a few floors, there is a more intimate atmosphere given the number of tables they have. The steak was very good and I would definitely make this a must visit.

Great steakhouse with a small but perfect menu, only thing I would add is chunky chips as an option to fries. We visited on a Saturday so very busy, make sure you book well in advance.

It was good but me and my boyfriend had been before and enjoyed it more the first time. I still recommend it to other people but I suggest going when it's not too busy or when it's just been valentines day. Also my boyfriend didn't think that there was much of a selection of choice in food this time.
